Combat sambo section on fighting street. V.Volostnykh: Combat Sambo - the history of creation

Description

Combat Sambo- are a combination of many techniques and areas of martial arts. It is a full contact fight with the use of wrestling both in a standing position and in a parterre, as well as an obligatory striking technique of arms and legs. These are essentially mixed martial arts known as MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) that you often see on TV.

Is this a traumatic sport?

No, in our sport, injuries are minimized, although, of course, they have a place to be, as elsewhere, not only in sports but also in everyday life.

However, according to statistics, combat sambo (mma) is a less traumatic sport than, for example, the same beloved football.

How is the training process organized?

Trainings are lined up in accordance with all the norms of the Soviet, Russian and global methods of training an athlete mixed style... Absolute discipline in the hall, an individual approach to each student. The training program is designed directly for a specific age group... Our task. Develop coordination and dexterity, strengthen body and spirit, be strong both physically and mentally. To positively influence not only the physical, but also the mental development of the athlete. To develop not aggression, but self-confidence.

Does everyone participate in the competition?

Depending on the child! All children are different, some are given more, some less. Someone trains in order to be able to stand up for themselves, but competitions, for him, are only stress after which he, in principle, will turn away from martial arts! That is why the child always has a choice! Also, if your child does not systematically attend training and misses for one reason or another, then what kind of competitions can we talk about in principle?

In fact, in most cases, it turns out that when we need it, we want strictness and attention from the coach, we demand development from the child, and when we don’t need it, we can simply skip it. Go to the dacha, go to the birthday of friends to eat a cake, take a break from sports during school holidays.

In order to stand head and shoulders above others, you should train twice as much as others! Enter first and leave last! And maybe in a couple of years you will see such desired result... This is the law of sports. To achieve something, you have to work a lot on yourself, work hard, respect and listen to the coach. Each child has his own pace of development, his own work and you should not demand the impossible from him! It is important to monitor nutrition, sleep and wake up discipline!

Bottom line: We are all united by sport! This is a multicultural family, where one for all and all for one. Only a close-knit team of like-minded people can achieve high success. We explain this to children at every workout!

First of all, we place an emphasis on the development of a child's personality, the ability to stand up for oneself, overcome all obstacles, difficulties standing in the way!

We do not cripple children at any cost, reaching the goal of becoming a champion, no, only a few will become champions, but everyone will be able to stand up for themselves and their loved ones! We educate men out of them, lay the very foundation on which life will be built in the future.

Opening remarks to the publication of materials on the scientific heritage of the A.A. Kharlampiev family.

Anatoly Arkadievich Kharlampiev (10/29/1906 - 04/16/1979). Honored Master of Sports of the USSR (1947), Honored Trainer Soviet Union, Judge of the All-Union category.

This year marks the 107th anniversary of the birth of Anatoly Arkadievich Kharlampiev, the genius creator of sambo wrestling.

Anatoly Arkadyevich Kharlampiev was born in the city of Smolensk in the family of the famous professional boxer Arkady Georgievich Kharlampiev (1888-1936). Anatoly Arkadievich's grandfather was a great lover of fist fighting, a master of wall-to-wall fights and an expert on the techniques of Russian wrestling and self-defense. Arkady Georgievich Kharlampiev made a great contribution to the establishment and development Russian school boxing. He was a famous organizer sports events(called at that time "mass action") among Moscow youth in the 30s of the last century. The father of childhood taught children to work, athletic gymnastics, taught the art of English boxing.

Anatoly Arkadyevich Kharlampiev devoted his life to the creation of sambo wrestling, the formation of the development and improvement of the world's first multinational wrestling in clothing and self-defense systems based on the centuries-old experience of the peoples of our Motherland and other countries.

Kharlampiev has done a tremendous job of classifying and systematizing the techniques included in various systems of martial arts. Kharlampiev's matrix, like the periodic table, even now is an effective tool for creating new types of martial arts and scientific analysis existing species... As an athlete, teacher, methodologist, he created a completely new system of wrestling, which made it possible to combine the study of combat and sports techniques.

In 1941, Anatoly Arkadyevich Kharlampiev volunteered for the front. The homeland noted his military services with numerous awards, including the Order of the Red Star, medals for military services, for the defense of Moscow, for the capture of Konigsberg and others.

A.A. Kharlampiev trained outstanding students, champions of the USSR in sambo wrestling, successors of the development of sambo: Evgeny Chumakov (1921-1997), Anatoly Latyshev (1926-1982), as well as many other famous athletes.

A.A. Kharlampiev summarized in 47 scientific and scientific-methodical works. The monograph "Fighting Sambo" was republished 7 times in Russian, as well as 4 times in the languages of the peoples of the USSR and abroad.

When in 1953 A.A. Kharlampiev came to work at the Moscow Power Engineering Institute (first as a teacher, and then as an assistant professor of the Department of Physical Education and Sports), he achieved the inclusion of sambo in the number of sports disciplines studied by students in the process of compulsory classes. A slender, scientifically and methodologically grounded system of training athletes quickly gave brilliant results. In total, A.A. Kharlampiev trained over 70 masters of sports and 2,000 discharges. Among them there are 4 doctors and more than 30 candidates of technical sciences. Hundreds of MPEI graduates, highly qualified specialists in their field, working in different regions of our country, transfer their rich sports experience, contribute to the development of sambo on the ground.

This year we are celebrating a round date - the 60th anniversary of MEI SAMBO. A natural continuation of the work of A.A. Kharlampiev in the conditions of modern times, at a new stage of development, was the cultivation and development of combat sambo. The MPEI Combat Sambo Club was one of the main educational and methodological and sports centers Combat Sambo Federation of Russia. His students, international combat sambo masters, Champions and prize-winners of Russia and the World - Oleg Zakharov, Sergey Akinin, Dmitry Kaun, Alexey Oleinik, Mikhail Bakin, Andrey Rudakov, Kamil Zaipullaev, Nazhmudin Khurshidov, Dibir Zagirov, Magomed Ismailov, Vadim Khazov and others , have repeatedly occupied and continue to occupy the podiums at the most prestigious Russian and international competitions... The MPEI Combat Sambo Club conducts purposeful, systematic and systematic scientific and practical work on theory, methodology and practical application combat sambo, its development as a sport, improvement of competition rules. More than 50 scientific and journalistic, educational and methodical works... A number of inventions have been patented. Unique simulators have been developed, which are successfully used in the training process of combat sambo.

It is difficult to name a person who contributed more to the formation and development of the SAMBO system than Anatoly Arkadievich Kharlampiev. It is also impossible to list all the events for the popularization of sambo wrestling, for the training and advanced training of coaches, judges, athletes, which were clearly organized and carried out by him in an exemplary manner.

Anatoly Arkadievich Kharlampiev was engaged in the promotion of the art of self-defense, developing and demonstrating this art on demonstration performances, competitions, meetings. Kharlampiev wrote many books on the technique and tactics of sambo wrestling, as well as on the combat section of sambo for the official use of various power structures, has brought up a whole generation of athletes who in our time are actively continuing the work of their Teacher.

Everyone knows the film "Invincible", in which the famous actor-stuntman Andrei Rostotsky, who unfortunately passed away early, played a role that in artistic form reflected the selfless activities of Anatoly Arkadyevich Kharlampiev in the field of development and improvement of the domestic system of self-defense, which is as close as possible to the real battle.

It is impossible not to appreciate the enormous contribution to strengthening the defense capability of the Motherland and the patriotic education of our youth, which Kharlampiev made with his enthusiastic selfless work in the field of developing a truly national sport, sambo.

Before last days life, he remained true to his idea - to make multinational sambo wrestling a popular and widespread sport not only in our country, but also abroad.

Today we pay tribute to the memory of this wonderful person, coach and scientist with gratitude.
Evidence that the deeds and ideas of Anatoly Arkadievich Kharlampiev came true is the recognition of sambo as a national sport and the annual SAMBO World Cup in memory of A.A. Kharlampiev - "A.A. Kharlampiev Memorial"!

The son of A.A. Kharlampiev, Alexander Anatolyevich Kharlampiev (1947-2006), was the author and compiler of historical and methodological books on martial arts and martial arts, including the works of his father and grandfather.

At present, the wife of his son Alexander Anatolyevich Nina Nikolaevna Kharlampiev is working with the archive of Anatoly Arkadievich Kharlampiev. She continues to develop the work of Anatoly Arkadyevich: she prepares for publication his works (not published during the author's lifetime), attends competitions, acquaints young researchers with the work of the Kharlampievs.
We are grateful to Nina Nikolaevna for cooperation with the Combat Sambo Federation of Russia and the publication on the FBSR website of materials on the scientific heritage of Alexander Anatolyevich and Anatoly Arkadievich Kharlampiev.

In the harmony of struggle and duel - honor,
Combat Sambo has glory, valor!

From the anthem of combat sambo

Word " sambo"Stands for self-defense without weapons. This is a kind of combat sports. The philosophy of this struggle is self-development and a constant striving for self-improvement. Sambo is not only a sport, but also the upbringing of willpower and character in a person.
Sambo appeared in the 1920s and 1930s in the Soviet Union. Sambo techniques were borrowed from other martial arts of the peoples of the world, for example, from judo, and changed in accordance with the philosophy of martial arts. Techniques from 52 single combats (Japanese judo, French wrestling, ju-jitsu, karate, as well as national martial arts of the peoples of the USSR) constituted the main part of sambo “instruments”.
One of the brightest SAMBO masters is Anatoly Arkadievich Kharlampiev, a researcher and theorist of wrestling of different nations, Honored Master of Sports of the USSR, Honored Coach of the Soviet Union, who largely determined the appearance of this type of wrestling.

Cravings and interest in sports arose from Kharlampiev with early childhood... His grandfather was a fist fighter and a real strongman: it was said that he could stop a troika at a gallop. Grandfather was fond of hand-to-hand combat, studied his techniques and types of punches ... Kharlampiev's father became the champion of France and Europe, performing in the ring.
The boy has been involved in sports since childhood, already at the age of six he performed aerialist in the circus. Interest in sports and wrestling has grown into something more than just a hobby. They became the meaning and cause of Kharlampiev's entire life. Just like his grandfather, Anatoly Arkadievich began to classify the blows and techniques known to him, creating an integral system. To replenish the baggage of his knowledge, he entered the State Central Institute of Physical Culture, where he studied judo under the guidance of Vasily Sergeevich Oshchepkov, who studied this type of martial arts from masters in the Japanese Kodokan school.

During training and studying the theory of martial arts, Kharlampiev noticed that the techniques that he already knew from his father and grandfather, and those that he studied now, are somewhat similar to each other, but some of them are more effective. Then it occurred to him to select the best techniques, combine them together and use their combinations. This set could serve as the basis for a new type of struggle, as Anatoly Arkadyevich himself believed, so that the weak and unarmed could always defend himself.
After graduating from the institute, Kharlampiev went to teach physical education at the Communist University of the working people of the East. Here he not only introduced his knowledge and skills into the teaching program, but did not stop learning new techniques from students of different nationalities, since among them were representatives of the Caucasian and Central Asian republics.
Kharlampiev participated in fights with such students, learning from them new techniques of attack and defense. At the university, the guys gave him the nickname "invincible".
He, regularly, once a year, went on expeditions to the Soviet republics to hone his skills and learn new types of martial arts. But not only martial skills helped Kharlampiev become a true master of his craft. Climbing and fencing helped him keep himself in shape. Lovely physical training and endurance is the key to success and skill.
Based on the techniques already selected, Anatoly Arkadyevich created combat system Sambo is the result of his many years of reflections and observations. Sambo was divided into two types: simple sambo - a set of classic wrestling techniques - and combat sambo, which includes additional elements. It is impossible to study separately only combat sambo or just simple sambo. Combat sambo can be mastered only after learning the fundamental techniques of ordinary sambo.
But not only new techniques were presented to Russia by Anatoly Arkadyevich. He offered special clothing and footwear in which the athletes were comfortable to fight.
Sambo, as an independent sport in the USSR, was adopted in 1938... A meeting of coaches was held, among whom Kharlampiev was appointed senior. He read a report on the systematics of Soviet freestyle wrestling (as was then called the new kind wrestling), which also spoke about wrestling shoes with soft soles and sambovka (as it is called now), a cloth jacket with slots for a belt, outwardly reminiscent of a kimono.
The turning point in Kharlampiev's life was the Great Patriotic War. "Invincible" went there as a volunteer. He first served in the 18th Infantry Division.
During the war, Anatoly Arkadyevich, showing his valor and courage, was awarded the Order of the Red Star, medals For the Defense of Moscow, For Military Merit, and For the Capture of Konigsberg. During the fighting, he was wounded.
Kharlampiev had to change his fighting positions to a treatment room, where he became a methodologist and helped rehabilitate wounded soldiers. He taught them his techniques at the front, wanting to pass on his skills with all his heart. He also taught ski tactics and combat tactics.

After the Victory, Kharlampiev transferred to the troops that managed to defeat the Kwantung Japanese Army.
Kharlampiev showed interest in the captive Japanese, not abandoning his passion even in the war - he again began to learn new judo techniques from them and arrange fights with them. In the carts with captured soldiers, to his great surprise and admiration, he found quite a few tatami mats for practice. Subsequently, the Japanese awarded the "Invincible" the most honorable "gift" - 8th dan in judo, which was usually not given to those who were not a citizen of Japan.
Passion for judo helped Kharlampiev win over the prisoners and make them respect themselves under such seemingly difficult circumstances.
After the war, Anatoly Arkadyevich again took up the distribution, popularization and development of sambo. Starting in 1947, championships in this type of wrestling were again held. Sambo is a great gift to the Motherland.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said that sambo is a fight that people are proud of, because combat sambo strengthens the spirit of youth, fosters willpower and character. By the way, he himself is a master of sports of the USSR in sambo, he underwent training in combat sambo in order to become a scout. In his opinion, SAMBO is a philosophy that develops combat tactics in a person, develops logic and attentiveness.

For more than 80 years, SAMBO has been popular species sports in Russia. Anyone can master certain techniques or go through the whole hard way mastering wrestling to compete in championships. In our country, there is the All-Russian Sambo Federation, which organizes championships. Also, in memory of the founder of sambo, sambo tournaments named after Anatoly Arkadievich Kharlampiev are held annually.
The Combat Sambo Federation of Russia has existed since 2001. It also includes the Center for Combat Sambo MPEI * im. A. A. Kharlampieva. It was at the MPEI at the department physical education and sports A. A. Kharlampiev worked for the last twenty-six years of his life.

Currently combat sambo FBSR Is international recognized species sports, created in Russia, uniting best achievements world culture in the field of martial arts. It can be called the most effective view preparation for military and law enforcement activities in modern conditions.
Sambo is also the promotion of sports, healthy way life. Sambo makes people courageous and courageous. In addition, sambo is an effective preparation for military activity, and in the army and special services, combat sambo is the basis of all the basics in the training of military personnel. Almost all defenders of our Motherland must master the applied techniques of combat sambo.

Combat sambo is our national sport... It has the most complete set of currently known methods of influencing the enemy. All combat sports existing in the world are part of combat sambo as subsystems.

God Died.(Friedrich Nietzsche)

Nietzsche died.(God)

Quite an interesting book about real world applications. Apparently the book was written in the first half of the 20th century.

In this book, the section "Special Techniques" is of some interest, where methods of attack are shown in some detail. pain points, suffocating grips, painful effects on the cervical vertebrae and "dangerous" throws - the ideas expressed in this section, in principle, remain relevant now.

6.the techniques of disarming the enemy trying to get the weapon

7.mutual proceeds

8. Techniques for blinding the enemy (in fact, about the importance of throwing various loose objects into the eyes of the enemy. . ")

9. Several techniques of tying up the opponent - in fact, described on the hands and dumping of the opponent from these painful techniques.

The section, again with the enticing title - "Teaching special techniques" describes some kind of sweeping punches and kicks ...

…. Suddenly, while studying this book, I noticed that it turned out to be published in 1995, and not in any 1936, moreover, A.A. Kharlampiev “Sambo System. Martial Art "- on back side the covers are a photograph of a plump uncle (apparently A.A. Kharlampiev) and looking even more closely, you can see that the text was prepared for publication by Alexander Anatolyevich Kharlampiev, the son of Anatoly Arkadyevich Kharlampiev (whose photo means and is indicated on the cover). That is, as if a lucky coincidence - in fact, misleading the average martial arts lover - who knows A.A. Kharlampiev, but for example does not know that he had a son with the same initials - A.A. Kharlampiev.

That is, I think that this book is nothing more than a stylization of books for official use, for example, there for the NKVD or SMERSH - the thirties - forties - the pictures, as you can see, are also made in the style of the 30s - 40s. And therefore it cannot be of any practical interest.

But on the other hand, you still need to know that all the same classic books have been released - about, but more on that in the next article.

P.S. (added 12/06/2018) How it turned out (see article -) the book by Alexander Anatolyevich Kharlampiev “Sambo. Martial arts»Published in 1998 is actually a collection of two books ( Sambo ( fighting techniques) and Sambo (special techniques)) of his father, the legendary Anatoly Arkadievich Kharlampiev, published in 1953.

Moreover, the techniques are shown in the book, exclusively applied - which are generally not found in the literature on the martial arts of the Soviet period. And it turns out that this book is not only the coolest book on combat sambo, but in general the coolest book on the martial arts of the Soviet period. (Even the book considered above, which was supposed to be used in the training of scouts, is significantly inferior in terms of the range of techniques presented to the book "Sambo. Special Techniques"

The whole book is based, I think, on the most effective approach to applied technique - attacking pain points, in almost any way.

(That only are the following techniques discussed in the book: Rupture of intervertebral cartilage when approaching from behind and Lying prone fracture of the cervical vertebrae)

Moreover, the book passed completely unnoticed either by the special services or by martial arts lovers of those years - it remained unknown to most fans. (Personally, I came across it by accident, and I see it for the first time in general. Although in terms of the effectiveness of the presented technique, this book is probably superior to most books on martial arts. But for some reason it is unknown. And worse than that the system of Anatoly Anatolyevich Kharlampiev, did not receive any development at all in this direction.)

And what is even more interesting, martial arts lovers hope that there are still some top secret types of martial arts, from the special services or special forces, but such a wonderful book is completely overlooked. In fact, very tough techniques and techniques are shown in it. And the name is rather modest and does not stand out in any way - “Sambo. Special Techniques ". (Otherwise, for example, the same information in the book discussed above, about SAMBO for NKVD employees, would have been a completely different attitude. But not that fundamental book - in terms of the level of information presentation, the most common brochure entitled “Sambo. Special Techniques ".

All martial arts books -

In 2015, in Moscow on the basis of the National Research University "Moscow Power Engineering Institute" (NRU "MPEI") was opened new Center Training and Retraining "Center for Combat Sambo named after A.A. Kharlampiev ", which provides a comprehensive, all-encompassing training for a universal combatant - firstly, the training itself in various sections of combat sambo (applied and sports) on carpets and in the ring. Secondly, the use of specific, unique simulators, the use of which is justified from a scientific point of view. In addition, the Center has a patented system of computer diagnostics and simulators, which allows you to find out the speed of reaction, determine the leading arm or leg of an athlete, and also find out what, to a greater extent, a person is genetically predisposed - to fight or to strike. The Director, a well-known trainer and master of combat sambo, first vice-president of the Combat Sambo Federation of Russia Valery Valentinovich Volostnykh spoke about the Center.

Video from training at the Center
- Valery Valentinovich, what does the Center consist of?
- MPEI gave us 2 floors of the building in which the founder of the sambo system A.A. Kharlampiev worked for 26 years. On the second floor we currently have two fully equipped halls: a large hall and a small hall. In the large hall, there are two wrestling mats with special elongated beams on the walls, located along the perimeter of the hall, walls with targets for balls (a simulator for practicing the accuracy of strikes) are also planned. In the small hall there is a special, reinforced ring with a net in the lower part, from which it is impossible to fall out during a professional combat sambo fight, which is a fairly frequent problem at various competitions. For athletes, there are two changing rooms with showers, which allows up to 80 athletes to train with coaches at the same time, as well as regularly hold scheduled combat sambo competitions - which we often hold. In addition, it was established optional equipment for trainings - rope, boxing bags of various configurations and weights, wall-mounted boxing "uppercut" pillows. I want to note the design of the halls - in addition to the usual images of soldiers on the walls large hall depicts 12 animals from the Indian tradition, which, in combination with various primary elements, allow the fighters to choose their own, unique style. Even Kharlampiev wrote in his reports, books and talked in numerous conversations about the need to take into account the structure of the body and character of the fighter during training, as well as about the natural martial movements of animals on the ground of young animals and in natural conditions.
On the ground floor there will be a hall with a "grid" ("octagon") for training in professional combat sambo, a training "turntable" complex, a computer diagnostics room. There are plans to open a massage room, an infrared radiation room, and a room with pressure chambers for recovery procedures.

- Decent.
- That's not all. It is possible to open a cafe (or at least a buffet), as well as saunas and mini-hotels for those who come to seminars and training courses. And, of course, training and computer classes, where our students and listeners will be tested and trained. Our Center is a world-class institution.

- Let's talk about computer diagnostics. What is meant by this?

- Our athletes (and in the future, everyone) will be able to find out the speed of their reaction, check which muscles dominate in them - flexors or extensors, in order to understand what to pay the main attention to - to training wrestling movements or percussion. Our integrated combat sambo system has both. The question is what to focus on in your training. Especially if it comes about an athlete who competes and who finds it very useful to know what technical elements best of all and to a greater extent to work out. If you are genetically predisposed to struggle, it is worth focusing on this. Well, and everything else, each test taker can simply find out what kind of sport you are predisposed to - football, or basketball, find out which hand or leg is leading. A person can think all his life that he is right-handed, but in fact - left-handed.
As a result of these studies, it is possible to draw certain conclusions and make recommendations for the training, health-improving or rehabilitation process.
In a nutshell, a lot depends on the "head" and the speed of processes in the brain, as well as on the coordination of the work of the right and left hemispheres of the brain.
As a result of the complex application of computer diagnostics and systems special simulators it is possible to successfully heal, recover and rehabilitate even an athlete who has been knocked out and is, to put it mildly, on a large "recession" in much less time than with the usual traditional approach (six months of recovery and several weeks with our approach). Everyone participating in the training or wellness process guaranteed for the first year increase functional state by 50% when passing testing in a computer class in combination with passing a simulator training course.

- Interesting. You mentioned Indian tradition. What it is?
- This is Dharma Marga (martial yoga) - the brainchild of my old friend Vadim Vyazmin, also a student of Kharlampiev. Vadim did a great job on studying the system of training warriors of ancient India, studied manuscripts in Sanskrit. I give elements of Indian tradition in my Thursday classes. I find it very useful.

- And what do the images of animals on the walls of the hall mean in Dharma Marga?
- The figures of animals are the external form, position, stance of a combatant. The primary elements of nature are internal content in movements, a kind of filling with energy, energy of movement, which corresponds to each external form (position, stance, imitating an animal).
Thus, each animal corresponds to its energy.
That is, a movement, a blow, a technique has its own albeit the same or similar trajectory, but the filling with energy of this trajectory of movement is different.
For example, you can punch a door so that it falls off its hinges, you can punch a large or medium hole in the door, or you can punch a small hole, a hole the size of a fist, and so on.
The trajectory of the impact movement (external shape) will be the same, but the impact and the result of the impact on the door (target or enemy) will be different (since the energy "embedded" in this trajectory will be different). Various energetics or filling of the movement is achieved with the help of visualization, the figurative representation of the animal and the primary element corresponding to it, as a result of which the physical and mental are combined, and this gives an optimal result in sports activities.

- Tell us about your students. Who comes to your class?

- Personally, I lead 2 groups: the national team and the subscription group. In the first one, athletes can engage in a level not lower than the CMS. Everyone comes to the second one. We constantly organize and participate in competitions, and we invite everyone who wants to fight. As our hymn says: "We go out into battle without a pick."

- Is there a development plan for the Center?
- Of course! On the basis of the Center, it is planned to create the International Institute of Combat Sambo named after V.I. AA Kharlampiev with bachelor's and master's degrees, as well as the creation of a dissertation council for the award of candidate and doctoral degrees.
