Hands in the pose of napoleon. Forums

I came across an old test to determine the character of a person. To be more precise, this is an attempt at express character analysis based on the functional asymmetry of the right and left hemispheres of the brain. Of course, the test results should not be taken for absolute truth, because despite all the achievements of science, the proverb "someone else's soul - darkness" still retains its relevance. For me, it was not so much the test itself that was interesting as the fact that statistical data were obtained based on the observation and survey of 500 people.

The study itself will actually include four tests, each of which determines the dominance of the right or left hemisphere of the brain. Further, the combination of these four tests gives 16 possible combinations. Each of them has its own psychological portrait. In what follows, conventional designations are adopted, "P" - right reaction to the test, "L" - left reaction to the test. After passing 4 tests, you will have a 4 letter combination. So:

Test 1. The leading hand. If, when the fingers are intertwined, the left finger is on top, then you mark "L" for yourself, if the right - "P". In the general case, "L" is associated with a more emotional makeup of the personality, "P" - with the analytical one.

Test 2. Leading eye. You need to look at an object through the scope (for example, the tip of a pen or a hole in a piece of paper). If you close the leading eye "P", then the subject will move relative to the scope. If you close your non-leading eye "L", then there will be no displacement. In general, the leading eye "P" corresponds to a firm, persistent, more aggressive character, in the non-leading "L" - a softer and more compliant one.

Test 3. Pose of Napoleon. If, when the hands are intertwined, the left hand is on top of the chest, it is necessary to mark "L", the right - "P". In the general case, the left hand above indicates the ability to coquetry, the right to innocence.

Test 4. Applause. When committing right hand we mark "P", left - "L". In the general case, applauding with the right hand speaks of a more decisive character, with the left hand about indecision, a desire for an increased justification of their actions.

After passing these four tests, a combination of their four letters should be obtained (the letters are arranged in the order of the numbering of the tests), then 16 possible combinations are considered, each of which corresponds to its own psychological portrait. So:

1. PPPP. Conservative type of character. Orientation to conventional wisdom, to stereotypes. Correct behavior, non-conflict, unwillingness to argue and quarrel.

2. PPP. Insecure conservatism, weak temperament. In the presence of one test against the background of the opposite others, the corresponding character trait manifests itself most clearly - in this case, indecision.

3. PPLP. Such a person is inherent in the ability to coquetry, determination, a sense of humor, activity, temperament, artistry. When communicating with him, humor and determination are necessary, since this strong character does not perceive weak types. According to statistics (based on observation of 500 people), this type of character is inherent in 16.5% of men and 17.9% of women.

4. PPLL. A rare and independent type of character. Close to the previous type, but softer, more indecisive
and less energetic. Some contradiction between indecision and (left applause) and
firmness of character (right leading eye). High contact, but slowly addictive.

5. PLPP. Business type of character, combining analytical warehouse and gentleness as the main trait. More often
occurs in women (3.6%). The generally accepted type of business woman, slow addiction and caution.
Such people do not go to the conflict head-on, calculation, tolerance, slowness prevails in them.
development of relations, some coldness.

6.PLPL. The weakest type of character, very rare. Vulnerability and weakness are associated with both the ability
go to the conflict, and with exposure to various influences. According to the above statistics, there is
only among women - 0.8%.

7. PLLP. Propensity for new experiences and the ability to avoid creating conflicts. Some impermanence
the ability to flirt on the "right", analytical background with special gentleness. Similar characters
emotional slowness, languor is characteristic. Simplicity and rare courage in communication,
the ability to switch to a new type of behavior. More common in women - 8.5%, in men - 3.5%.

8. PLLL. Fickle and independent character, the main feature is analyticity in combination with the rest
"left" tests. The desire to do everything and decide for yourself. This type of character is not common, 2.6%
in men and 1.6% in women.

9. LDPP. One of the most common personality types (15.7% for men and 12.2% for women),
with very good adaptation to various conditions. The main feature is emotionality in combination
with insufficient persistence. High susceptibility to other people's influence. Differs in friendliness,
easily contacts with almost all other types of character. In men, emotionality
reduced, there is a tendency to phlegm.

10. LPPL. Even less persistence, gentleness, compliance, naivety. Requires particularly careful
self-attitude is a "little queen" type.

11. LPLP. The strongest type of character, difficult to convince, this requires a strong
various influence. Able to show perseverance, perseverance in achieving goals. Strong
individuality, energy, ability to overcome difficulties, some conservatism.
Such people do not like infantilism.

12. LPLL. Strong, but unobtrusive character, almost defies persuasion. Main feature
- internal aggressiveness, covered with external softness and emotionality. Fast interaction,
but slow rapprochement. Difficulty making friends.

13. LLPP. Friendliness and simplicity, some scattered interests and a tendency to introspection.
14. LLPL. The main features of this character are innocence, gentleness, gullibility. This is a very rare type
almost never occurs in men.

15. LLP. Emotionality combined with decisiveness as the main trait. Vigor, some
scattering leads to the fact that in such characters emotional, quickly accepted,
ill-considered decisions.

16. LLLL. Holders of a complete set of "left tests" are people who are characterized by the ability to
look at things, the greatest emotionality, individuality, selfishness, stubbornness, protection sometimes
turning into isolation.

Observations have shown that with matching tests, the communicants develop a state of "mental comfort"
and mutual sympathy. Even randomly formed companies are usually made up of people of similar nature,
having similar tests. The greatest effect is possible with complete coincidence, mutual antipodes occur
rarely.

STUDY OF WORKING CAPACITY AND FATIGUE OF STUDENTS WITH DIFFERENT PROFILE OF FUNCTIONAL INTERHEMESPHERAL ASYMMETRY [Electronic resource] / Matveev [et al.] // Health and education in the XXI century. Electronic Scientific and Educational Bulletin. - 2016 .- No. 4.- P. 22-28 .- Access mode: https: // website / efd / 369442

This article studied the performance of the nervous system of students with different profiles of functional interhemispheric asymmetry. The study involved 96 students of the Faculty of Psychology of the Bashkir State Pedagogical University. M. Akmulla, who, in accordance with the profile of the functional asymmetry of the brain, were divided into three subgroups: right-handed - 55 students, left-handed - 9 students, ambidextrous - 32 students. To analyze the adaptation of students to learning conditions, we used indicators of the functional state of the nervous system. The functional state of the central nervous system of student youth was studied using the "Psychophysiologist" hardware complex using the simple visual-motor reaction technique. It was assumed that taking this indicator into account in the educational process would make it possible to correctly plan the mode of work and rest, control educational loads and thereby preserve the health of students.

were identified using motor tests: interlacing of fingers - "lock"; crossing arms on the chest - "pose<...>Napoleon "; applause.

Sociocultural constructs in language [monograph]

M .: FLINT

The monograph explores socio-cultural constructs based on the material of the Russian language: memory, beauty, chaos, feelings, names of persons (eponyms). In some cases, examples from English and German are given. The description of sociocultural constructs is based on the analysis of phraseological units, stable metaphorical phrases and clichéd phrases. The concept of a phraseological text as an object of socio-cultural commenting has been introduced. The constructs considered in the book are described in their correlation with philosophical, mythological, literary, political and other types of discourse. The use of words is illustrated by fragments from the works of Russian literature of the 19th and 20th centuries. and examples from contemporary journalism. The work uses works on semiotics, philosophy, sociology, ethnolinguistics, psychoanalysis.

Dominik Lieven titled his book “Russia against Napoleon: The Struggle for Europe, 1807–1814”, but after reading the book of the English historian, the impression is that it’s not Russia, but “Alexander I against Napoleon”. Historians agree that the Russian emperor concluded peace in 1807 only after he was defeated, but subsequently and further repeatedly showed himself to be an implacable opponent of attempts to conclude any kind of peace agreement with Napoleon, stubbornly defending this as a matter of principle and diligently dismissing all other opinions. I repeat, the title of the book seems to be somewhat of a contradiction with its content.

War and Peace. In 4 volumes, Volume 1

M .: Publishing House "Children's Literature"

"War and Peace". A masterpiece by the genius Russian writer Leo Tolstoy. One of the greatest works of world literature, stunning in its scale, psychological depth and high historicism. This novel formed the basis for several films, both domestic and foreign. The abolition of serfdom, other government reforms responded in Russian society with real spiritual battles. The spirit of doubt and discord visited the once united people. The European principle "how many people, so many truths", penetrating everywhere, gave rise to endless disputes. A multitude of "new people" have appeared, ready to rebuild the life of the country at their own whim. Tolstoy's book contained a unique response to such Napoleonic plans.

The leading hand is determined by the smaller deviation from the ideal Y 2 effort. For example, you showed 32 with your right hand, and Y 2 efforts - 22: the error was (+5). And the left hand was 30 and 13: the error was (-2). Therefore, according to the accuracy of reproducing the given effort, the left hand is the leading one. "

7. Exercise "Drawing".

Instructions:“Take a pen (pencil) in each hand. On command, simultaneously draw a square with your right hand, and a circle with your left. Draw a line under the shapes and, on command, draw a circle with your left hand and a square with your right. Compare the shapes drawn by the right and left hand. More accurate drawings were made by the leading hand. If the accuracy of drawing is about the same, then there is no dominance, and you are ambidextrous in terms of the accuracy of your movements. "

8. Exercise "Catch the ball".

And the instruction:"Stand in pairs at a distance of 3-5 steps opposite each other." ".

. Exercise "Throw".

instruction:“You see a target in front of you. Each will perform two throws with his right and left hands, trying to hit with this plasticine ball, standing on a line located at a distance of two meters from the target. The leading hand is determined by a more accurate hit. "

Exercises to determine the leading leg

1. Exercise "Self-assessment".

Instructions:“Imagine that a ball is rolling towards you; with which foot would you beat him off? This leg is the leading one. "

2. Exercise "Foot to foot".

Instructions:“Sit comfortably. On command, take a sitting position, cross-legged. The leg above is the leading one. "

5. Exercise "Step length".

Instruction: “The task is performed simultaneously by several people. Standing at the line on the floor on command, step forward with your right foot. Your partners determine the stride length from the line to the heels using a centimeter tape (as in the long jump). Now the same left. The leading foot is determined by the best result. "

6. Exercise "Long jump with one leg push."

Instructions:“You should, without stepping on the line, perform the long jump with a push of one leg. The partner measures the length of the jump on a centimeter scale. Two attempts are given for each leg. The leading foot is determined by the lower average. "

7. Exercise "Test for balance".

Instructions:“The task is carried out alternately in pairs. One takes and. n. standing hands forward with closed eyes. On command, you should raise your right leg forward and maintain this position for as long as possible. The time is counted by me aloud. Topic 3. Psychomotor and functional asymmetries 59

vision (dominant eye) is more significant than hearing asymmetry - especially for training shooters and athletes in different types single combats with an acyclic character of motor activity and the need for constant concentration of attention on the accuracy of the performed motor actions (gymnastics, acrobatics, jumping into the water, boxing, fencing, etc.). The following are suggested simple tricks to determine the leading eye and ear.

Exercises to identify the leading eye and ear

1. Exercise "Self-assessment".

Instructions:"What do you think is your leading eye?"

2. "Eyesight test"(from an ophthalmologist).

Instructions:“Everyone knows what his vision is. If there are no differences, then the dominance of the eye in terms of visual acuity was not revealed. If one eye sees better than the other, it is the leading one for this indicator. For example, the visual acuity of the right eye is 1.0; left - 0.8; so the leading eye is the right one. "

3. Exercise "Aiming ability of the eye".

Instructions:“Take a pen or pencil in your hand and align it (him) with any vertical line, for example, with the edge of a board, window frame. Close your eyes one at a time. Note, with the right or left eye closed, the pen does not deviate from the alignment line or deviates to a lesser extent. This eye is the leading one. "

4. Exercise "Wink".

Instructions:“The exercise is performed in pairs. Turn around to face each other and wink at your partner on command. You winked with your leading eye. "

60 Section 1. Interaction of the psyche and the physical body

5. Exercise - "Telephone conversation".

Instructions:“There is a telephone in front of you, it rings. Answer the subscriber - to which ear did you put the telephone receiver removed from the device? Try again, which ear is more comfortable for you to listen to? "

Task 3. Research of mental

asymmetry

Methods for determining the dominance of the right / left hemisphere

1. Self-assessment method.

Instructions:“What do you think is your dominant hemisphere? If it is difficult, think about which subjects at school were easier for you: mathematics, physics or literature, history? If the exact sciences, then the leading is the right hemisphere. If you find it difficult to answer, then there is no obvious dominance and, rather, you are of a mixed type. "

2. Arnheim's problem.

Instructions:“Let's imagine that it’s 3 hours and 40 minutes. How long will it be in 40 minutes? If you operated with numbers, then the left hemisphere is the leading one. If they represented hands or an electronic clock, then - the right one. "

3. Researching ways to memorize a phone number.

Instructions:“Let's say you can't write down your phone number. How do you remember it? If you are looking for some regularity in the arrangement of numbers or an association (for example, house number - date of birth, etc.), then the left hemisphere is the leading one, and if you imagine how you write (visual image) or the dialing sequence, then the right hemisphere ".

4. "Figures and Figures".

Instructions:"Close your eyes. Now I'm going to show you a poster that shows something. On command, you open your eyes, in a second I remove the poster, and you reproduce on paper the first thing that caught your eye, what you paid attention to. Leading is the left hemisphere, if you wrote down the number or numbers, and the right - if you first paid attention to the figures. "

5. "An old woman and a young woman."

Instructions:“Now I will show the so-called dual image. In the picture, you can see either a young woman or an elderly woman. Note what you saw first. Attention! .. If you immediately saw a young lady, it means that at that moment your right hemisphere worked more actively, if for an old woman, then the left one ”. Dependently

Topic 3. Psychomotor and functional asymmetries 61

Depending on the size of the image, it should be shown either at once to all at the same time, or to each pair of subjects separately.

6. Test for hemispheric dominance(N.M. Timchenko). Instructions:"Answer the questions using the answer either"; yes "; or"; no ";".

the left hemisphere; 8-12 points - mixed type; 13-20 points - dominance of the right hemisphere.

Completion of work. Students draw up a final protocol of experiments for three tasks and analyze their own and partner's data, taking into account that pronounced asymmetry - this is a clear predominance of the right or left limb, eye, ear and cerebral hemisphere. To obtain more accurate information about the functional asymmetry of the brain, special instrumental studies (EMG, EEG) are required. In a joint discussion, students formulate criteria leading arm / leg, eyes and cerebral hemispheres, and discuss the role of the F AM profile for success in various sports.

Section 2

Athlete and coach personality psychology

Topic 1. Study of intellectual

properties of those involved in sports

Explanations to the topic. IN sports activities a person learns the world primarily through motor perceptions and various motor actions, consisting of simple and complex movements, psycho-muscular sensations and psycho-energetic states of the body, various sports feelings, psychomotor and ideo-motor forms of intellectual activity, i.e. thinking in motion. Some people who are far from sports still have the idea that athletes are intellectually not fully developed people who act according to the Russian proverb "there is strength - no mind is needed." This common everyday concept of athletes does not correspond to reality, because not only chess, but also any other kind of sport requires athletes to have a high intellectual-volitional tension, forms and develops the thinking of athletes in their own way, that is, in accordance with their specific tactical and technical action. The real life of a person in sports proves the fact that physical exercise, training loads, competition (especially in sports of the highest achievements) is not only a creatively experienced intense physical labor that solves the complex life task of physical improvement of one's body, "doing oneself", but also not less intense intellectual activity that forms and develops various intellectual skills in athletes and mental skills, which are closely related, on the one hand, with the subject and content of sports activities, and on the other hand, with social models of life's struggle for their place in society.

64 Section l 2, Psychology personality athlete and trainer

This explains, firstly, the predominant specialization of the intellectual activity of athletes in the direction of mastering the mental skills of concrete-figurative, tactical and practical thinking; secondly, this also explains the huge popularity of sports as social model of a healthy lifestyle life and the competitive struggle for survival in this world. Spectators of the Olympics, world championship competitions in football or ice hockey are more than 3 billion people who clung to their TV screens and empathize with athletes. Every sixth inhabitant of the planet is involved in sports in one way or another.

A specific sport develops an athlete's intellect in accordance with the psychomotor requirements inherent in this sport for the level of development and manifestation of the mental and motor abilities of a given person in educational, training and competitive activities, which poses the task of sports psychology to study the thinking characteristics of representatives of different sports.

The test tasks proposed below are designed to study the intellectual potential of athletes - diagnosing the awareness of their mind, measuring the speed of associative verbal-logical, figurative and practical thinking, assessing their creativity and general erudition, i.e. those mental abilities, from which the structure of their intelligence is formed (from lat. intellectus - understanding, understanding, comprehension). In psychology "intelligence" defined as "a relatively stable structure of the mental abilities of the individual" 1.

Task 1. The mental abilities of athletes

Introductory remarks. There are a lot of mental abilities studied by psychologists. Below is an adapted version of the methodology of the famous German psychologist Amthauer to determine the main ones. It consists of five verbal tests, each containing 20 questions. Each question in the test is an unfinished sentence that lacks the meaning of the last word or last digit. The subject must choose this word from the five suggested for each question or complete

sentence by number. A general form of the experiment protocol for all 5 exercises is attached below. It is also important to take into account the speed of the tasks, which requires a stopwatch.

Method of work. The first thing the subject needs to do is draw a table on a Blank sheet of paper - a form test protocol - 5 columns of 20 rows each (see sample above). The test subject will enter the answers to the test questions in the cells of the table.

To standardize the conditions of the experiment, the experimenter must tell the subject before starting the experiment: “Work calmly and carefully, perform the tasks in the order in which they are located. If for the next question you cannot find the answer, do not dwell on it too long, move on to the next question. "

Exercise 1: Awareness of the Mind 1

Instructions:“Read the sentence and choose from the proposed list the word that, in your opinion, is best suited for the semantic design and completion of the sentence. Remember: the sentence must be completed in one word. Work fast. "

Sample solution:

1. A rabbit is most like ... a) a cat, b) a squirrel, c) a hare, d) a fox, f) a hedgehog.

Possible correct answer: c) for a hare(put the letter "; in"; in the table of the experiment protocol form in the first column on the right opposite the question number). When noting the answer in the protocol of the experiment, remember that after each question, only one letter (or number) should be entered in the column of the answer table, since in all tasks for each question only one Workshop Document

    4. Exercise "Interlacing fingers ".

Instructions:“Place your elbows on the table, put your palms together. Interlace your fingers on command. The leading hand is identified by the thumb on top, covering the other. "

    5. Exercise "Lift the fallen handle."

Instructions:“On command, drop the handle to the floor and then lift it up. The leading hand is the hand in which you are holding the raised handle. "

    Exercise - Dynamometry.

Instruction 1:“Take the dynamometer and, alternately, with your right and left hand, squeeze out the greatest effort. The leading hand is determined by the best result. "

Instruction 2:"Take the dynamometer first with your right hand, squeeze out the force, and then" / 2 of this force. Perform a similar procedure with your left hand. "

    Exercise "Catch the ball."

And the instruction:"Stand in pairs at a distance of 3-5 steps in front of each other. On command, one throws a tennis ball to a partner, who must catch him with one hand. Change. The hand that you understand and the ball is leading." ...

    Self-assessment exercise.

Instructions:“Imagine that a ball is rolling towards you; with which foot would you beat him off? This leg is the leading one. "

    Exercise "Foot to foot".

Instructions:“Sit comfortably. On command, take a sitting position, cross-legged. The leg above is the leading one. "

    Exercise "Step forward."

Instructions:“The task is executed from and. n. standing. On command, raise on your toes, and then shift your body weight forward while taking a step. The foot with which you took the step is the leading one.

    4. Exercise "Step".

Instructions:“The task is being carried out at the stairs. On command, go up a few steps. The leg with which you started the movement is the leading (swing) leg. "
