Work on the projectile: safe training in boxing. Practicing strikes on different types of implements Various options for working on implements in boxing

I refer to the shells: boxing bags, paws, special mannequins.

Start work on shells with a boxing bag. A beginner should first learn the correct stance, the technique of striking.
Trained boxers practice several variants of bag work, alternating them in different workouts. When hitting the bag with maximum force, take breaks and in between carry out combinations for speed or simply “scatter” your hands. I recommend to carry out a series of 3-4 strokes with an emphasis on the last one. As a rule, bag work is divided into rounds (3 minutes each). Trained fighters spend an hour or more on the bag, it is recommended for beginners to spend at least 4 (it all depends on physical training) rounds with a one-minute break between rounds. Gradually, the number of rounds should be increased, the main thing is to do everything reasonably, not to overdo it. Try different combinations. The main mistake of beginner boxers when working on the bag is that many stand in one place in front of the bag and just hit. I recommend everyone to “circle” around the bag, break and shorten the distance, work with the body, work on the “floors”, that is, in one combination, strike both in the head and in the body. Do not forget about protection, do not lower your hands, keep at the chin. In general, we do what we do in battle.
For training hard hit I advise you to choose a non-hard bag. Since when working on a hard bag, the likelihood of injury is higher (dislocate a hand, knock out a finger, etc.), the body will subconsciously give a signal and the impact force will decrease.

Pneumatic bag on stretch marks

Develops reaction, accuracy of blows, speed
It is easy to make a pneumatic bag at home: we take a ball for tennis we pass an elastic band through it (through it), we fix the ends of the elastic band to the ceiling (horizontal bar) and the floor.
Try to strike under different angles giving the bag an unpredictable range of motion, then try to accurately hit the projectile. Hit straight punches, in this case the pear will move in the same plane, so train the clarity of your punches. Practice defense with the help of an air bag. After direct hit get away (slipping, diving, etc.) from hitting the ball.

Be sure to take the time to work on the paws.

On the paws you will be able to fix what you learned on the bag, namely, to strike in a timely manner.
Work on the paws, like work on the bag, is divided into rounds, the number of rounds when working on the paws depends only on your physical form. In the first round, we usually swing, and in the subsequent ones we work with full dedication. Try to work on speed (not really investing in punches), when you start to get quick combinations, the power of the punch will come by itself (unless, of course, you practiced punches on the bag). Next round, throw accented punches (invest). Work on your feet. Throw both straight and side kicks. Work on floors. Ask your partner who holds the paws to respond with blows after your combinations, and you leave (do not stagnate) from the blow.

For exercises in the technique of close combat, the task of which is to automate movements, make them familiar and unconstrained, and also to develop a special endurance of a boxer, boxing equipment is used: a bag, a wall, a heavy pear (with peas or water) and a pneumatic (inflatable) pear.

Boxers have already met with all these shells before, learning the techniques of fighting at a long distance.

But in order to practice close combat techniques on these implements, boxers need to first learn techniques without a partner, then on the paws and in exercises with a partner. Only after the boxers have mastered the technique of a particular technique (or combination, series), you can begin to learn them on shells.

In the lesson on shells, boxers practice after training with a partner or conditional and freestyle fights, moving from heavier shells to lighter ones.

On the bag, the boxer exercises 2-3 rounds; on the wall and hanging pear - 1-2 rounds each, on a pneumatic pear - 2-3 rounds.

One of the most useful projectiles should be considered a bag (Fig. 88). For exercises on this projectile, the boxer has to expend about the same effort as in close combat.

The bag is suspended so that its lower edge is at the height of the boxer's belt. top the bag should be secured with braces so that it does not rotate. This must be done if the boxer marks on the bag (with chalk or paint) target points at the height of the solar plexus and the head of the imaginary opponent for the accuracy of punches.

Before performing the exercises, you need to bandage your hands very carefully. They perform exercises on a projectile - a bag in the same sequence in which they learn close combat techniques, that is, they start with single blows, then move on to two-strike combinations and, finally, to a series of blows. You can also practice some of the techniques for getting out of and into melee combat.

At first, exercises are performed from a training position and only at close range. Later, you can switch from long range to close range and vice versa, intersperse the methods of remote and close combat.

The coach carefully monitors the correct coordination of movements, timely insurance and corrects errors that occur. It is especially necessary to follow the insurance, which also applies to exercises on other shells.

Another boxing projectile is a wall (Fig. 89). You can practice on it (in close combat techniques) only in blows from below and short direct blows. Therefore, the wall is usually used for individual exercises in cases where you need to deliver these blows or consolidate combinations, for example, a blow from below the left to the body - a short straight right to the head (short straight right to the head - from below the left to the body), etc.

A heavy bag (fig. 90) with peas or with a chamber filled with water is convenient for practicing blows to the head - from below, side and short direct blows. It is most convenient to put on a pear short direct blows to the head.

The pneumatic (inflatable) bag on the platform is used more as a training tool, improving the boxer's special endurance, developing muscle strength, especially shoulder girdle, and the speed of the boxer's movements.

In a lesson, a boxer usually trains on three implements for a total of 4-8 rounds.

On all of these shells, you can learn a variety of techniques - from the simplest to the most complex and precisely coordinated. A very important detail of a boxer's technique - the ability to accentuate a blow can only be acquired by practicing on shells. On the instructions of the coach, the boxer highlights one of the blows, making it more sharply, with an accent. Then he can focus on every second hit - in combinations, every third or every fourth - in series.

By systematically including exercises on apparatus in the lessons, the coach helps boxers to consolidate correct technique and automate your movements.

In the future, when a boxer masters a variety of techniques and learns to apply them at different distances, in exercises on shells he will also combine close combat techniques with techniques characteristic of long-range and medium distances, that is, to practice in the conduct of a combination fight.

The article will discuss training with boxing equipment. The methods of working with the most popular projectiles will be considered, such as: punching bag, punching bag, tennis ball on stretch marks and pneumopear.

Punching bag

Develops strength endurance

Training methodology. There are many ways to work with the bag - try to alternate them in different classes. You can hit the bag with maximum force - use this from time to time, conducting combinations and focusing on the final blow. Usually, bag work is divided into rounds. Beginner boxers (less than a year of experience) usually do 10 rounds of 1-2 minutes, with a 1-minute break between sets. Experienced fighters can work on bags for an hour or more.

Boxing requires a well-placed strike, which is impossible to achieve without working on shells.

1. Work on the bag in a free style, reminiscent of shadow boxing. Move around the bag, throwing punches, adding variety to your movements. Try different combinations, hit both side and straight punches. Do not forget about protection - after each combination, try to dodge an imaginary blow, or block it. Imagine that you are in the ring and you have to defend 10 rounds - plan your tactics and use your imagination.

2. Work according to a strictly specified algorithm. A trainer helps to compile it, who perfectly sees what you should work on especially. The work can go according to this algorithm - 2 rounds in the shuttle, with a jab and deuces from two straight lines. Then 3 rounds of side work - moving around the bag, apply left and right hooks and swings. After that - several rounds of defense training: after a two-three, leaving the attack line is mandatory. And the final rounds - work in free mode.

One of the most important rules for working with a bag - do not overload! If you, tired, will strike, then your technique is unlikely to be on highest level. Therefore, subconsciously you will remember the wrong movements. If you are still tired, but want to continue training - devote more time to protection, move more and hit less often. Remember how professionals fight in the ring. They do not always box at high speeds and after a sharp start they reduce the speed, restoring their strength. And, finally, one more tip if you are going to work with a bag at home. Choose a softer bag - such shells can still weigh a lot, but be more voluminous. It is not always convenient to hit a hard bag with all your strength and, sometimes, it is fraught with injuries to the wrist and phalanges of the fingers. Therefore, intuitively, the body will give a signal and the impact force will decrease. And when working on the bag, it is necessary to combine both weak and accented blows, and it is desirable to beat the latter with maximum force and full investment.

Punching bag

Develops speed endurance

Training methodology. Everything is simple here - try to work on the pear in high-speed mode, delivering accented blows from time to time. A pear is like a bag - its weight is much greater than that of a pneumatic bag. However, unlike the bag, the range of motion of the bag is much greater, and you have additional opportunities to practice punches on the move.

Pneumatic bag on stretch marks

Training methodology. The first way is to strike at different angles, bringing the pear into a chaotic movement. After that, try to hit the projectile clearly. The second way is to deliver direct blows, setting the bag in motion along one axis (that is, the projectile will move in a straight line back and forth). To do this, you must clearly hit shock part fist roughly in the center of the pear. Thus, the clarity of strikes is trained and the correct setting of the fist is developed.

Tennis ball stretched on ropes

Develops reaction, accuracy of blows, speed

Training methodology. This projectile resembles a pneumopear on stretch marks, but you can work with it in a different way. Try not only to disperse the ball and hit it, but also to dodge the projectile. You can try different protection options - dive, slope, go back or to the side. The ideal training option is punch, defense, punch, defense.

In addition to the named shells, there are many others in boxing. The most common are: wall cushion, mannequin (pear in the shape of a person), pneumatic bulb, paws, etc.

Hello dear site visitors. What do you think, what boxing equipment is in each gym? What in more advanced? And is it possible to make boxing shells with your own hands?

Boxing equipment

All types of boxing equipment are designed for different jobs. Some help to improve a hard tight hit, some - dynamics and sharpness. Next, we will talk about the most common simulators.

First, pears are considered: The types of these boxing shells are as follows:

  1. Pneumatic.

This is an inflatable item. It has a modest size. With its upper side, it is mounted to a platform that is parallel to the floor surface and to the ceiling. It can be swung from side to side.

After the attack, the pear hits the platform and follows a specific vector back. Her movement is rhythmic and fast. With an idle stroke, it deviates from a straight line. This is how accuracy, rhythm, attack dynamics, as well as endurance are honed.

On pneumopear you can implement direct and side impacts.

  1. Suspended.

It may slightly exceed item 1 in size. It is hung on a cable from the ceiling. You can fill it with sand, water, sawdust, etc. The filler determines its mass and specificity. The mass must be decent so that swift, accurate and sharp blows are more effective. At the same time, the boxer received an impulse inside himself. There should be no swinging of the pear on the sides.

This is how it is honed:

  • dynamics and precision,
  • consistent pace,
  • the correct effort in the peak stage of the attack,
  • sense of distance.

You can also work out shuttle actions, side assaults and uppercuts well.

  1. Floor.

Its installation is carried out on a moving rod. It features excellent cushioning. They work great here:

  • direct assaults and boardings from the side,
  • remote feeling,
  • accuracy.

This product combines the options of item 1 and item 2. When working with him, the fighter constantly and dynamically moves. He must act quickly and accurately.

  1. Heavy.

It has a huge mass, helps to develop:

  • impact power,
  • series execution,
  • endurance when working at a high pace,
  • bottom hits.
  1. Easy.

It differs from item 1 only in smaller parameters. Helps to improve the technique of side attacks. The athlete constantly balances on his feet, depicts the conditions of the battle, hits the bag intensively from the side. Is given Special attention technical implementation.

  1. Water-filled.

As a rule, it is only in advanced halls. He is a great assistant in setting biting straight punches. Only one touch is allowed per hit. Contact with the bag should be as brief as possible. Sanded:

  • sense of distance
  • rapid contractile and relaxing potential of the muscles,
  • crispness and dynamics.
  1. Dummy. He has the form of a man. But in fact this is also a bag. It is filled with water or sand. It allows you to train attacks on key points. Some of its types are considered good boxing equipment for children and beginners.

The wall-mounted pillow is considered the most productive boxing equipment mounted on the wall.

It perfectly hones a hard hit with the necessary emphasis. She is static. When in contact with it, the efforts of the boxer are concentrated as much as possible.

Development in progress:

  • impact power,
  • adaptability and power of the involved ligaments and muscle groups.

This is an excellent simulator for practicing direct single and serial attacks. When performing them, it is important to control the correct position of the legs and body.

Of the other shells stand out:

  1. Burn machine. This is a simulator that develops the muscles of the arms and upper side of the body. It has two handles. They rotate 360 degrees. This allows you to further develop the dynamics of hand movement and endurance (when working for a while). With it, you can train in static or movement.
  1. Medball. This is a ball with an average weight of 5 kg. Its diameter is close to basketball. Helps to improve general physical condition and muscles involved in boxing. Effectively develops explosive force, movement speed and coordination.
  1. Vultures. Their primary mission is to develop explosive power. During training, the muscles work in turn in a calm and intense mode. A sharp transition from the first mode to the second improves explosive power.
  1. Other types. Also in the halls there are paws, jump ropes, various expanders, ropes, trampolines for medicine balls, etc.

If you do not have enough classes in the gym, you can buy boxing equipment. It all depends on your budget and home conditions. Most often, such boxing shells are purchased for the home:

  • pears and bags of small sizes,
  • mannequins,
  • wall pillows.

They also help to improve the technique and physics of dumbbells. Every athlete has them at home for sure.

Boxing equipment prices vary. Models can be purchased. For example, the price range of bags is as follows:

  • products 6 kg - from 600 rubles.
  • versions for 20 kg - 1600-2500 rubles,
  • for 35 kg - 6000 rubles.
  • for 50 kg - 12,000 rubles.

Here, the type of filler and the material of the product are also key factors.

boxing equipment

The activity of a boxer is also impossible without special equipment. The category of boxing equipment includes:

  • gloves for sparring and training on different equipment,
  • protective helmets,
  • caps,
  • special footwear and clothing.

Today, in many children's sections, students themselves acquire. Only a few clubs provide them with their pupils.

Self-creation of shells

If for some reason you do not want to purchase specialized training products, you can make boxing equipment from improvised materials. The following is an example of self-creation of a bag.

First of all, solve the issue with its location. It needs a good space to work with. Then choose the material for it.

Options:

  1. Textile. It can be rolled up 2-3 layers. It has poor wear resistance. She might break
  2. Tarpaulin. Better than item 1, but its texture will complicate the strikes. We must not act with our bare hands.
  3. Leather or its substitute. This is the best variant. It has a very dense structure. The filler will not spill out (will not pour out). You can work with bare hands. But it is quite expensive.

Filler version: sand or sawdust. The first ones compact and make the bag heavier. The second makes it easier

Then the applied material is folded in half and sewn securely. A "pipe" is formed.

Then a small square is cut out of the material. Its corners are sewn together. A circle is formed. It is sewn on the bottom of this "pipe".

A second such circle is being prepared. It will complete the second end of the conceived bag.

Further, according to the indicated principles, a bag of smaller parameters is sewn together. It is filled with small stones. Sand or old clothes will do. He places in the first bag clearly in the center. To fill the voids between them, sand or sawdust is used.

The next step is sewing on the lid. Only strong kapron thread is used. The entire product is stitched three times. And all seams are covered with special glue (for things made of rubber).

At the final stage, fasteners are mounted on the bag. The following methods apply here:

  1. The simplest. It is necessary to use standard metal carabiners, which are usually used by climbers. These elements are sewn onto the top of the created bag.
  1. More intricate. It takes a lot of time. A thick board is used. A circle is cut out of it. Its diameter corresponds to the diameter of your simulator. A hole is drilled in the circle, and a rope for fasteners is mounted. Rope can also be used. And a circle with a rope is sewn into the top of the bag.

So you can create a boxing shell at home. Then there is only a dilemma with the place of its installation. There are many variations here: you can hang it on the horizontal bar. You can install special brackets on the wall. And already place your training assistant on them. This option is considered more reliable and does not interfere with classes on the horizontal bar.

Conclusion

Without special shells and equipment, the full development of a boxer is impossible. It is necessary to have different pears and bags, and other things. Only under such conditions does the necessary strength and attacking technique develop.

Boxing at all times has been so popular with us that almost any person, regardless of age and gender, can say that the main simulators in this sport are a punching bag and a punching bag. The main purpose of the boxing bag is to develop athletes of any kind of martial arts. strength endurance. With the help of a punching bag, speed endurance is trained.

There are many options for training with a bag, it is recommended to alternate them. Periodically, strikes of maximum strength should be struck, series should be carried out, paying special attention to the last strike in the combination. All work is divided here into rounds. For those who have been practicing for less than a year, it is enough to spend 8-10 rounds of 1-2 minutes each.

Take one minute breaks between sets. Experienced fighters work with a boxing bag for an hour or more. The most popular options for such training can be considered free-style work (shadow boxing) and work according to a strictly defined plan. In the first case, the athlete moves around the boxing bag, inflicts a variety of blows: side and direct, dodging after each combination from an imaginary blow or blocking it. If a fighter works according to a plan, then the coach is usually involved in compiling it.

When working with a boxing bag, you should not overload, it is useless to hone the technique in a tired state. If training is planned to be carried out at home, it is better to choose a softer punching bag. Hitting a hard projectile can result in injuries to the fingers and wrist. Subconsciously, the athlete can reduce the force of blows.

The method of training with a punching bag involves working in high-speed mode, with periodic accented punches. The difference between a pear and a bag is that it has a large range of motion. Training with such a projectile allows you to work out strikes on the move. The athlete actively moves and strikes from different positions.

There is such a variety of this projectile as pneumopears on stretch marks. With their help, they develop a reaction, improving the accuracy and speed of strikes. Impacts on the pneumatic bag are applied at different angles, as a result of which the projectile begins to move randomly. With direct blows, such a punching bag is forced to move along a straight axis back and forth. This allows you to develop the clarity of strikes and achieve correct setting fist.

To develop a reaction, to train the accuracy and speed of strikes, such a simulator as a tennis ball stretched on ropes also allows. During training, you need to disperse the ball, strive to hit it with your fist and at the same time dodge it. It uses such elements of protection as slope, dive, going back or to the side. The scheme of work is simple: strike - defense, strike - defense.

Of course, the punching bag and punching bag are not the only equipment used by athletes during training. In the gym, they also work with a wall cushion, a mannequin, boxing paws. Experienced fighters are advised not to hit the pear and bag with bare hands. Such enthusiasm can end in broken wrists and fingers. For training with shells, there are special gloves - shingarts.
