Choreography lessons with children 3 years old. What is choreography? It is an important element in the development of a child.

In dance. Moreover, it can manifest itself as a simple composition, in the form of creating an artistic image, shown without the help of speech. It turns out that feelings, thoughts, experiences of a person are transmitted through movements, facial expressions.

There are three directions in modern dance, including folk, classical and modern look... The first and second types are the main ones, therefore they have a more expressive reserve of movements. The third option consists of all the dance styles that emerged after classical ballet.

It is good for children to practice dancing. After all, such a hobby helps to work out to get good stretch, gain plasticity and flexibility. In addition, it contributes to the development of creativity as well as artistic taste.

Dancing lessons

Choreography for children is primarily about gaining confidence at a young age. In the process, the child realizes himself as a person, directing his energy to self-development.

Lesson plan

The first point is to get acquainted with the classical movements, so children's choreography includes the following basics:

1. The position of the arms and legs.

2. Separate movements.

3. Formation of posture.

4. Outdoor games with dance sketches included.

After this material is assimilated, the dance becomes more difficult, and then new compositions are added.

Choreography for children is always accompanied by various musical pieces of classical and folk music, as well as children's songs, modern rhythms.

The meaning of the dance

What is choreography at its core? For children, this is a game in the process of which they learn to move to the music and master the basics of dance. Such activities help to develop physically and psychologically. Which direction to choose for your child - each parent decides for himself, but against the background of others it always looks more advantageous.

Classics for children

The choreography program in ballet is very serious. After all, this is not just a dance - a way of life. All feelings, emotions require maximum dedication, work, time. Although all efforts are not in vain, because ballet is at the top of the cultural hierarchy and requires a special attitude towards itself.

This art combines beauty as well as the perfection of form associated with depth. inner peace... You can learn multiple movements, but growing as a person, feeling the music, movements, creating an image in dance is the most difficult thing. Deeply, with all responsibility, not everyone is able to perceive the melody, but only a few. Therefore, it is important to teach your child this quality.

What can you get from ballet?

1. Children who have been doing ballet since their youth do not have problems with the spine. This is because the posture is immediately straightened, and the existing curvatures are corrected.

2. Teaching dance brings up personal qualities in a child - this is psychological stability, perseverance, determination.

3. Children's choreography helps to develop such a quality as the ability to achieve results in everything. Perhaps in the future this type of activity will not be professional, but people related to it always stand out among others for their expressiveness.

Dancing school

Not every city has a good school of choreography where ballet is taught. Such an institution usually employs real professionals. It is these teachers who teach children the basics of dance, instilling in them respect for classical art. Subsequently from ballet school come out people who are models of physical and spiritual perfection, which arouse admiration of many. That is why the idea of doing this kind of activity from childhood is very entertaining.

The child does not yet understand what choreography is, so knowledge is given gradually. The lesson program is usually created for each age separately. The smallest from 4 to 6 years old learn to stand correctly, walk while dancing. During the lesson, they study dance steps, jumps, hand positions, body positioning, develop

The choreography program for older children - from 6 to 10 years old - teaches concentration of attention, methods of performing movements at the bar. Therefore, the program usually includes repetition of already existing knowledge and the inclusion of new elements, the setting of various studies.

Grown up children, starting from 10 years old, already decide for themselves whether to stay in this type of activity or not. This is because further classes are held on professional level with the further realization of oneself as a ballet dancer. Of course, a child by this age should already have necessary qualities, such as flexibility, correct performance of steps, jumps.

What is left for the other children to do? The solution to this problem is simple - they perfectly realize themselves in any other direction of dancing. After all, what is choreography in ballet? This is the knowledge base of any other dance style. Therefore, children from a young age acquire a huge store of knowledge that helps them in the future to realize themselves.

Of course, you need to tune in to a long way, which will have to go to a real big performance. That is why you need such qualities as perseverance, hard work, patience, dedication. After all, the one who knows how to wait and work on himself, one day achieves great success, which means that a young artist will definitely have a great future in the future.

Little children love music, try to catch the rhythm and move to the beat. A properly chosen dance school for children from 3 years old will help develop the child's abilities and creativity. Here the baby will learn to feel and understand music, he will develop an ear for music and a sense of rhythm. The child will be able to better control his body, he will become more resilient, strong and flexible, and his movements will acquire clarity. You will notice how your child will form beautiful posture and gait. Do not forget that dance lessons for children direct the seething children's energy in the right direction, teach to express emotions in dance.

Children's dances - harmonious development of your child

Also in Ancient Greece understood great importance music for the all-round development and education of the child. At the same time, it is important that the lessons bring the kids pleasure - only in this case the lessons will be complete.

Today, dancing for children from 3 years old includes a warm-up, optimal muscle work, stretching and, of course, learning the basics of choreography, which are an integral part of any dance direction. Thus, interest in the art of dance is formed and the basis for the further development of the child is laid. The acquired skills will help the child feel confident and avoid any complexes in the future. The base created at an early age will help you more quickly and easily master many directions of not only classical, but also modern choreography.

Classes are held in a playful way, so children always attend them with pleasure - you don't have to persuade your child, as is often the case with a kindergarten.

Choreography for children is a wonderful way to develop an ear for music, coordination, flexibility, a child will be able to form good posture, become more self-confident, cheerful and open. In addition, this is a win-win option: there are no contraindications to choreography.

All children love movement to music. However, can you imagine what dance means for a child? No, this is not dexterity, creativity or posture ... In the dance, the child asserts himself. On the floor of a dance studio or at home, at the mirror, his inner “I” is actualized. Babies remain at the bodily level of development up to 3 years old. And the better we work on the child's body, the more harmonious his psyche is! Also, in adolescents and adults, the body is the foundation of the personality. Therefore, if you say to yourself, "There are no abilities for dancing," then maybe you did not receive something in childhood?

Living in the rhythm of a waltz

We, as exemplary parents, often go beyond the image. It happens that the baby gets harsh shouts or inattention. And at the moment of testing negative feelings, his body shrinks. It is here that dance, better than others, can help in removing physical clamps and restoring emotional balance. And if the baby is systematically engaged in dancing, then he will be presented with many chances for "psychotherapy". If you notice that your child is already a small star who loves to work for the audience, winning applause, then children's choreography is the first thing!

Lessons with the smallest

The toddlers are enthusiastic. But we are not talking about the choreographic system: in the classroom, children can behave freely. Choreography classes for children 2-3 years old are usually carried out in a playful way. And at the same time, they are taught to clap their hands for a reason, but following the desired rhythm, stamp their feet and make other movements upon request. Imagination develops ("Try to jump like a frog! How about a bunny?"), Imitation abilities ("Repeat after me!"), Which are the basis for any training.

For an introverted kid - someone who prefers loneliness instead of a noisy company, it is too early to go to a group. Although there are modest people who, on the contrary, dance helps to liberate themselves.

If your baby likes it, then why not? But if there is a protest on your face, do not insist - everything has its time. Be responsible for the choice of the teacher. The rigid style of teaching and the orientation of the choreographer not on the process, but on the result can easily discourage a child from any desire for self-expression in dance.

Growing stars

A kid with imaginative thinking can not only beautifully dance the cha-cha-cha, but also show the bird's singing with his body. And all this on stage in front of an admiring audience! Impressive? Professionals argue that the basics of dance can only be well taught in preschool age, therefore, choreography for children 3-5 years old lays good knowledge and a foundation for the future. The choreographer's task is to find the right combination of play and drill, which will help kids achieve without losing interest.

If you do not see your child on the ballet stage, then choose a dance studio where it is not customary to raise your voice to children. Six-year-old Nastya changed more than one dance circle before she found her own. The secret was simple: it encourages children for beautiful steps, instead of constant criticism. Everyone in the group has their own diary, in which, if successful, stars and hearts are glued. Remember also - your student is already holding a rather high load, in which case dance lessons may be superfluous. And yet, the correct organization of the daily routine can relieve fatigue. You can also teach a baby to do this simple trick: felt tired - massage your fingers and rub your palms together until you feel warm. Fatigue will disappear!

How to choose “your” dance school?

There are three main schools:

  • Folk dance
  • Classical
  • Modern

How will it be determined?

  • Include videos of various styles and watch with the little one. Let the kid choose what is closer to him: expressive rock and roll or fiery rumba?
  • Meet the choreographer in person and attend a couple of his classes
  • Check the possibility of performing on stage in your circle. This is a wonderful experience for a child! In a sponsored studio, there is a better chance of instilling the performing arts in your kid. There are children's groups that have traveled at the age of 4-5 with their concerts to different cities and countries.
  • Consider the main practical points: - how far the circle is from the house - the price of the issue - the temperature in the room - the equipment of the circle

It will be a shame when your child gets carried away, but you will not have the opportunity to carry him either because of a runny nose, or because of a long and difficult road. Speaking of passion. Yesterday he wanted to dance, but today his dreams are about equestrian sports ... It's normal for preschoolers, never force a kid. You can tell the girl how great she looks on the floor, and the boy about the benefits of dancing to strengthen muscles. You know your child well and will quickly find positive motivation. Dancing is a voluntary activity, and it is very important that the baby does it with pleasure.

Age 3-5 is rightly called the middle preschool age. Mood instability, emotional vulnerability, concreteness and imagery of thinking, passion for play and play situations bring these children closer to younger preschoolers, many of the child's cognitive abilities and personality traits are already developing. Imitation continues to play an important role in the perception of children in preschool childhood, especially when mastering a new movement, operations, actions. They more easily perceive images of real objects and materialized actions than words.

Like children aged from one to 3 years old, middle-aged preschoolers are egocentric: they still do not understand that other people may have their own ideas about something that are different from their ideas, that in general there may be different points of view on one and the same the same thing. As a rule, at this age, children do not know how to look at an object from the perspective of another person.

Middle-aged preschoolers are not able to keep track of how the object changes and how it goes into another state. They perfectly capture in memory only stable situations, states - initial and final, but the process of transformation itself eludes them.

At this age, the child learns the language of feelings - accepted in society forms of expressing the subtlest shades of experiences with the help of glances, smiles, gestures, postures, movements, voice intonations, etc. Children are still spontaneous and impulsive. The emotions they experience are easily read on the face, in posture, gesture, in all behavior. For the teacher, the child's behavior, the expression of feelings by him is an important indicator in understanding the inner world of a small person, testifying to his mental state and possible development prospects. The emotional background in the class can be positive or negative. For example, a child's complaint to a teacher is a manifestation, in a peculiar form, of his desire to communicate with him, an acute desire to tell about himself, most often about some of his difficulties and adversities, primarily in the sphere of relations with people around him. Complaining to an adult, a child seeks sympathy, empathy and help from him. It is simply impossible to leave all this unattended. In some cases, it is enough to caress the child so that he stops whining, complaining of non-existent pains, in order to evade performing certain exercises or part of an activity. In others, his need for a positive assessment, in a respectful attitude towards himself, should be satisfied. Thirdly, to help organize interaction with peers, having previously explained the patterns of behavior and thereby excluding the tendency to sneak. In all cases, the participation of a teacher will help the child master the norms of relationships with people around him. But since the content of children's complaints is different, then the teacher's attitude towards them should vary in accordance with their nature.

A big role in the formation of children's relations with each other can be played by play, which is for a small child not only a school of cognition of the surrounding world of adults, but also a school of human relationships. In preschool age, play is one of the main forms of organizing children's life, in the process of which children somehow influence each other, acquire life habits for themselves. Play activity influences the formation of all mental processes: arbitrariness, imagination, figurative thinking, etc. It is this activity in preschool age that is leading and determines the further path of the child's mental development.

Based on the knowledge of the psychology of children aged 3-5 years, the teacher-choreographer should be able to correctly build a lesson plan for choreography, rhythmoplasty. Thus, when studying drawing in a dance class, acquiring dance skills, musical perception, rhythmic features and interacting with other students in a group, you need to use the game as the main feature of this age in order to achieve the assigned tasks in each separate group.

In my lessons for toddlers, I try to find a connection between individual outdoor games and images with movements, exercises and dance tasks in order to get the desired results from the children being taught. Every part practical lesson you need to comment on or call words (images, objects, characters) understandable to children, and often children themselves suggest one or another definition to their actions in a rhythmoplasty (early choreography) lesson.

A musical and dance lesson for kids in a playful way lasts only 30-50 minutes. In the lesson, children learn to express emotions through movement, develop imaginative thinking and imagination, a sense of rhythm and musicality, concentration of attention, memory. But it also happens that the general emotional mood of the children is not reflected, as desired by the teacher, the children begin to get distracted and the group's attention is literally scattered before our eyes. With a certain experience, individual subjects that are in the dance class or prepared for such an occasion by the teacher may become an outlet. Or it can become a piece of clothing (for example, a sock or ballerina taken off while exercising on a rug - under the pretext of a stuffy room) and performing all the usual exercises using this object, which again involves children in play and concentrates attention as something new.

In addition to games and exercises, there is labor activity, which is still more often joint with a teacher, who act not only as a person organizing and guiding children, but also as a direct participant in the process, disciplining those involved in the dance class. For example, in a dance and play form, collect objects after the end of the lesson. The teacher's participation prevents children from undesirable behavior, recording and rewarding their intermediate successes, leading them to the achievement of the final goal.

It is known that children of this age evaluate their peers based on the opinion of adults (parents and teachers). It is boys who are more often assessed negatively by adults as disobedient, quarrelsome, etc. Girls are more in line with the requirements of adults, they are kind, obedient, calm, and so on. Because of this, girls are more likely to deserve praise and positive ratings. As for boys, due to the peculiarities of the age of 3-5 years, attention to the teacher's words lasts no more than 2 minutes and the praise or remark should be more specific (the fact is why). In the classroom, boys have a more pronounced peculiarity of the age "I WANT!" It is very important to share the failure with the child, or if something does not work out, to support him while performing the movements, relying on such knowledge of psychology at the age of 3-5 years (crisis transition to "I AM MYSELF!"

In general, preschoolers are kinesthetics, i.e. they need to try, not listen or watch, so choreography classes are the best fit for this requirement in the development of babies. When teaching a lesson with a given age, the teacher needs to take into account that preschoolers remain diligent only for about 12 minutes, and they need a frequent change of activity, a switch of attention. The fatigue of some and the activity of other children can be poured into the form of a short concert as part of the lesson, which contributes to the development of creative performing skills, acting skills, memorization of the material passed through and demonstration of the skills acquired in rhythmoplasty. At the same time, it is worth remembering that any improvisation should be based on preparation; you should not use this technique if, in general, the children are still little taught. You can also give homework"Show the past or the concert to the parents."

A separate moment in the concentration of children is the image of the teacher in the classroom. Neatness in appearance, the conformity of the dress code of the choreographer should be supported by cleanliness, clarity and literacy of pronunciation of words, activity in conducting classes, as well as participation in game moments as leading images / characters, possibly with specific distinguishing objects that focus the attention of children on the teacher.

Rhythmoplasty is an initial form of training, elementary knowledge of dance forms of movement, the first section of training in choreography. This largely determines the selection of musical works. As a rule, musical excerpts do not yet require an in-depth approach to choreographic forms in the lessons, so they should not be overly complex in sound, size and character. These are simple marches with a light texture for good assimilation of rhythm by students. For circle exercises, simple polkas with a pronounced rhythm are used, for example, the Czech polka or the Belarusian Yanka polka. In exercises in a circle, the choreographer often uses a change in tempo in music, which serves a more accurate perception of music by students, teaches them to respond to an increase in tempo or deceleration, or to a sudden transition to a fast or slow movement. While fostering the aesthetic perception of music and rhythm, it is necessary to select musical excerpts that are consistent with the movements, with the character of the dance, and are bright in sound. The role of the accompanist is irreplaceable. His work should be seen as an integral part of the learning process for the art of dance. The selection is carried out in special musical material, which, unfortunately, is a rarity in music libraries and the task of the accompanist is not only to find the appropriate notes, but also to choose from them exactly what will be useful in a choreography lesson. Sometimes it is worth turning to modern children's musical compositions, which will have to be selected by ear, but in the end they will always delight children and good mood, conducive to the assimilation of the material in the lesson. There is such a concept among choreographers as “square”. This is nothing more than a period consisting of eight or sixteen bars, on the logical completeness of which the movements of the dance are based. Not all selected waltzes, polkas, marches can be approved by the choreographer. The musical repertoire needs to be constantly updated. Indeed, the frequent sounding of the same march or waltz in the lesson leads to mechanical, non-emotional performance of the exercises by the students. However, too frequent change of accompaniment scatters attention, does not contribute to the assimilation and memorization of movements. By giving a certain tempo, meter and rhythmic pattern, the music brings out and emphasizes characteristics movement, helps its implementation and at the same time teaches children to understand the correspondence between the nature of the music and the nature of the movement

Music, movement and word - these “three whales” form the basis of a rhythmoplasty lesson. To understand the rhythm and memorize many exercises in the classroom, a verse form is used. Examples of such short quatrains can be easily found on the Internet and books on parenting and outdoor games, choosing them according to the topic of their studies and using figurative movements for a variety of movements. For example:

Let's sit down and jump
The handles are wider and with a lock,
The handles are wider and with a lock,
See how we can!
Turn right and right
And we will do the stretching ...

The task of the first two years of dance training is to harmonize speech with movement and music, teach one to navigate in space and master the basic dance elements. For 3-year-olds, much more dance games are concentrated in the lesson, and with a minimum content of choreography - claps, taps, turns. At this age, the task is not to teach a child to dance. It is important to teach, first of all, so that children repeat after the teacher, orient themselves in space, interact with other children. It is also important for a dancer to develop ear for music and a sense of rhythm from an early age. Games help develop reactions, quickly memorize dance moves and combinations.

At the age of 3, children learn simple dances-etudes, round dances with repetitions for better memorization, where children can perform movements according to the dance pattern, repeating after the teacher. And already from 4-5 years old, children can be taught to independently perform movements and remember the order of the dance, children at the age of 5 can easily adapt to dividing into groups in dance (according to images, gender, tasks). But still, at this age and for staging dances for children, it should be borne in mind that it is easier for children to remember and understand a plot dance with specific images. Gifted children and group leaders are identified in the performances and study of sketches, which helps the choreographer to coordinate their actions during the cycle of classes. To improve the productivity of classes, the teacher must actively work with parents, conduct tests and diagnostics of his work, analyze the results of the whole group and each child.
