Of the players included in the extended list, goalkeeper Soslan Dzhanaev (Rubin), defenders Roman Neustadter (Fenerbahce, Turkey), Konstantin Raush (Dynamo), midfielder Alexander Tashaev ( Dynamo") and forward Fedor Chalov (CSKA).

The regulations of the 2018 World Cup allow teams to make the last substitutions in the official application in the event of a serious injury to one of the players. There are only two requirements. Any roster changes end 24 hours before the first game. The Russian national team will start at the tournament on June 14 with a match against Saudi Arabia (beginning at 18.00). This means that Stanislav Cherchesov will be able to replace him until six in the evening on June 13th. But before that, a detailed medical report must be sent to the FIFA Medical Committee in one of the four official FIFA languages: English, Spanish, French or German. If approval comes from there, then a replacement can be made.

Data

The average age of Stanislav Cherchesov's team is 28.3 years. This is less than the team of Leonid Slutsky at Euro 2016 (28.6). In the 21st century, the youngest teams on major tournaments carried Georgy Yartsev and Guus Hiddink ( average age - 25,7).

The most expanded representation in the national team is in Zenit (6 players). There were four Zenit players at the 2014 World Cup, and not one of them has retained a place in the national team to date (Fabio Capello drove Lodygin, Faizulin, Shatov and Kerzhakov to Brazil). At the same time, four years ago, the most players in the national team were CSKA, which became the champion of Russia that year (Akinfeev, Ignashevich, the Berezutsky brothers and Dzagoev).

Since the 2014 World Cup, seven have remained in the application of the national team- goalkeeper Akinfeev, defenders Ignashevich, Granat and Semenov, midfielders Dzagoev, Samedov and Zhirkov. Akinfeev, Ignashevich and Dzagoev continue to play for CSKA. Semyonov also kept his job (although Terek was renamed Akhmat). Finally, Samedov moved from Lokomotiv to Spartak, Zhirkov from Dynamo to Zenit, and another ex-Dynamo player Granat ended up in Rubin through Rostov.

Since Euro 2016, 7 people have also remained in the application of the Russian national team- goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev, defenders Sergei Ignashevich, Igor Smolnikov, midfielders Alexander Golovin, Alexander Samedov and forward duo Fedor Smolov - Artem Dzyuba. The composition has been updated by 69 percent.

The average number of matches played by a player of this convocation for the national team is 27.9. Only four played more than 50 matches - Sergey Ignashevich (121), Igor Akinfeev (105), Yuri Zhirkov (83) and Alan Dzagoev (56).

The current top scorer is Fedor Smolov. He has 12 goals in 31 matches. Artem Dziuba is a little behind - 11 goals in 23 matches.

The gap between the oldest and youngest players is 16 years. When Sergei Ignashevich made his debut in the Russian national team, Alexander Golovin had not yet gone to school.

The list of Stanislav Cherchesov has the most representatives Russian Premier League, which no longer surprises anyone. The native championship is represented by 21 football players. Two more players are legionnaires. Goalkeeper Vladimir Gabulov became the Belgian champion with Brugge, and midfielder Denis Cheryshev represents the Spanish Villarreal.

Cherchesov's most "tired" conscripts - Igor Akinfeev and Alexey Miranchuk, which have already played 48 matches this season. Alexander Golovin and Anton Miranchuk played two matches less.

MOSCOW, June 14 - RIA Novosti. The story began in 1930 in Uruguay. The USSR national team for the first time took part in the final stage of the World Cup in 1958, when the tournament was held in Sweden, and made its debut in the final stage of the 1994 tournament in the USA.

Below is a statistical summary of the performances of the national teams of the USSR and Russia at the world championships.

At the qualifying stage for the 1958 World Cup, the USSR national team under the leadership of Gavriil Kachalin outperformed the teams of Poland and Finland. In the final part of the World Cup, her rivals in the group were the teams of Brazil, England and Austria. At the group stage, the Soviet players tied with the England team (2:2), won against Austria (2:0) and lost to Brazil (0:2), after which they won an additional match against the British for leaving the group (1:0). In the 1/4 finals, the national team Soviet Union lost to Sweden 0:2.

In 1962 the FIFA World Cup was held in Chile. The USSR national team performed confidently at the qualifying stage, ahead of Norway and Turkey. The final group tournament, which began for the Soviet players on May 31, brought them a victory over Yugoslavia (2:0), a draw with Colombia (4:4) and a decisive victory in the confrontation with Uruguay (2:1). In the quarterfinals, the USSR national team lost to the hosts of the championship to the Chileans with a score of 2:1.

For the decisive matches of the 1966 World Cup in England, the USSR national team was prepared by Nikolai Morozov, who had not had serious coaching practice before. The Soviet team again did not meet serious resistance in the qualifying group, beating the teams of Wales, Greece and Denmark. At the group stage of the final tournament, the national teams of the DPRK (3:0) were beaten, one of the favorites of the championship was Italy (1:0) and Chile (2:1). In the 1/4 finals with a score of 2:1, Hungary was beaten.

On July 25, the semi-final of the tournament was played in Liverpool, in which the USSR team lost to Germany with a score of 1: 2. In the match for the third place in the championship, the Soviet team fought with the Portuguese team, which turned out to be stronger - 2:1.

The qualifying games of the 1970 World Cup in Mexico, the team of the Soviet Union again, under the leadership of Kachalin, held without defeat and reached the final stage leaving behind Northern Ireland and Turkey.

On May 31, in Mexico City, in the opening match of the championship, the USSR national team tied with the hosts of the tournament - 0:0. The Soviet players played the second game in the tournament against the Belgians and won with a score of 4:1, and in the third game they confidently beat the El Salvador national team - 2:0. Having taken first place in their group, the USSR team reached the quarterfinals, where they lost to the Uruguay team 0:1 in additional time.

The 1974 World Cup at the selection stage was again successful for the national team - three wins and one defeat in the group with the Irish and the French. However, further according to the rules, the winner European group 9 had to play play-offs with the winner of the 3rd group South America. As a result, politics intervened in the selection process in the final stage. The Soviet delegation refused to travel to Chile for the return play-off due to the situation in that South American country, where a military coup had taken place.

In 1986, the USSR team entered the World Cup in Mexico from the second place in the group (the Danish team took the first place). The final stage under the leadership of Valery Lobanovsky began for the Soviet team with a convincing 6:0 victory over Hungary. In the second match, the Soviet team tied with the French (1: 1) and ended group stage defeated Canada (2:0). In the 1/8 finals, the team lost 3:4 to Belgium in extra time.

The Soviet team played successfully in the qualifying games for the 1990 World Cup, taking first place in their group and leaving behind Austria, Turkey, East Germany and Iceland. However, in the final tournament, which was hosted by Italy, the USSR team started with two defeats with the same score 0:2 - from Romania and Argentina. A major victory over Cameroon (4:0) did not bring desired result- the Soviet team did not score enough points to reach the 1/8 finals.

At the 1994 World Championships in the United States, the Russian team already participated, which advanced to the final round of the competition from second place (the first was taken by the Greek team). In preparation for the World Cup, a group of leading football players made a demarche, refusing to play under the leadership of Pavel Sadyrin. A number of players (Igor Shalimov, Igor Dobrovolsky, Igor Kolyvanov, Sergey Kiryakov, Vasily Kulkov, Andrey Kanchelskis, Andrey Ivanov) did not go to the World Cup.

In the US, the team led by Pavel Sadyrin failed to qualify from the group after losing to Brazil (0:2) and Sweden (1:3). big win Russian team over Cameroon (6:1), which allowed striker Oleg Salenko, along with Bulgarian Hristo Stoichkov, to become the top scorer of the tournament (6 goals scored), could not affect the standings of the national team. Salenko in the match with Cameroon scored five goals, which was the record for the performance of one player in one match of the World Cup. The achievement has not been beaten so far.

In 1998, the Russian team was left without the World Cup. As part of the selection in the group, the Russians took second place, and in play-offs lost to the Italians (1:1, 0:1).

Russia has started hosting the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Moscow has already hosted Grand opening and the players of our team play against a team from Saudi Arabia. Based on the results of this and two more games, it will become known whether our players have advanced to the next stage.

As for the composition of the team, Main coach command remains unchanged. This is Stanislav Cherchesov. He approved the final version of the national team in early June. It included 23 players. As for those who did not enter the main squad, these are, as a rule, players who received quite serious injuries during the winter and spring periods, due to which they will now be unable to play efficiently.

Igor Akinfeev (CSKA, Moscow), Vladimir Gabulov (Bruges, Belgium), Andrey Lunev (Zenith, St. Petersburg).

Defenders:

Vladimir Granat, Fedor Kudryashov (both Rubin, Kazan), Sergey Ignashevich, Mario Fernandez (both CSKA, Moscow), Ilya Kutepov (Spartak, Moscow), Andrey Semenov (Akhmat, Grozny), Igor Smolnikov ( Zenith, St. Petersburg).

Forwards:

Artem Dzyuda (Arsenal, Tula), Alexey Miranchuk (Lokomotiv, Moscow), Fedor Smolov (Krasnodar).

It is worth noting that only two players of the national team play outside of Russia. They are goalkeeper Vladimir Gabulov and midfielder Denis Cheryshev.

CSKA and Zenit have the largest representation in the Russian national team - Cherchesov called up five players from each club. It is noteworthy that the Russian champion Lokomotiv is represented by only two players - the Miranchuk brothers.

The fact that Lokomotiv midfielder Dmitry Tarasov was not invited to the main team was associated by many with his ex-wife Olga Buzova. Fans of the singer and TV presenter are sure that their idol did everything to take revenge on her husband who betrayed her, at least in this way, according to the Ros-Registr website. But, in fact, this is not the case, the Ros-Registr portal informs. The information was confirmed in Tarasov's "native" club.

It should also be noted that in the spring several key players of the national team were seriously injured and were forced to miss the home World Cup, informs Ros-Registr. These are striker Alexander Kokorin (Zenit), defenders Georgy Jikia (Spartak), Viktor Vasin (CSKA) and Ruslan Kambolov (Rubin), as well as Lokomotiv midfielder Dmitry Tarasov.

The motto of the Russian national football team will be the phrase "Play with an open heart."

By the way, the first match of the Russian team at the World Cup will take place on June 14. Russian football players will meet with the team of Saudi Arabia. As part of the group stage, the Russian team will also play with Egypt (June 19) and Uruguay (June 25).

In total, the World Cup football will take place from June 14 to July 15 in 11 cities of Russia.
