An excerpt characterizing Sergeev, Vitaly Nikolaevich

“Here they tell you to drive you out and drive you out,” Dolokhov said.
“Just try not to be taken away with all your Cossacks,” said the French grenadier.
The French audience and listeners laughed.
- You will be forced to dance, as you danced under Suvorov (on vous fera danser [you will be forced to dance]), - said Dolokhov.
- Qu "est ce qu" il chante? [What is he singing there?] - said one Frenchman.
- De l "histoire ancienne, [ Ancient history,] - said another, guessing that it was about previous wars. - L "Empereur va lui faire voir a votre Souvara, comme aux autres ... [The Emperor will show your Suvara, just like others ...]
“Bonaparte…” Dolokhov began, but the Frenchman interrupted him.
- No Bonaparte. There is an emperor! Sacre nom ... [Damn it ...] he shouted angrily.
- Damn it, take your emperor!
And Dolokhov swore in Russian, roughly, like a soldier, and, throwing up his gun, walked away.
“Come on, Ivan Lukich,” he said to the company commander.
“That's the way it’s French,” said the soldiers in chains. - Well, you, Sidorov!
Sidorov winked and, addressing the French, began often, often babbling incomprehensible words:
“Kari, mala, tafa, safi, muter, helmet,” he muttered, trying to give expressive intonations to his voice.
- Go Go go! ha ha ha ha ha! Wow! Wow! - there was a roar of such healthy and cheerful laughter between the soldiers, which involuntarily communicated through the chain to the French, that after that it seemed necessary to unload the guns, detonate the charges and disperse as soon as possible for everyone to go home.
But the guns remained loaded, the loopholes in the houses and fortifications looked ahead just as menacingly and, just as before, facing each other remained, removed from the limbs of the cannon.

Having traveled around the entire line of troops from the right to the left flank, Prince Andrei climbed to the battery from which, according to the officer's headquarters, the entire field was visible. Here he dismounted from his horse and stopped at the outermost of the four guns removed from the limbs. Ahead of the guns walked a sentry artilleryman, who was stretched out in front of the officer, but at a sign made to him, resumed his uniform, dull walk. Behind the guns were the limbs, and behind the hitching posts and the fires of the gunners. To the left, not far from the extreme gun, was a new wicker hut, from which the animated officers' voices could be heard.
Indeed, from the battery, a view of almost the entire disposition of the Russian troops and most of the enemy was revealed. Directly opposite the battery, on the horizon of the opposite hillock, was the village of Shengraben; to the left and to the right could be discerned in three places, among the smoke of their fires, the masses of French troops, of which, obviously, most of them were in the village itself and beyond the mountain. To the left of the village, in the smoke, it looked like something similar to a battery, but it was impossible to see it well with the naked eye. Our right flank was located on a rather steep hill, which dominated the position of the French. Our infantry was positioned along it, and dragoons were visible at the very edge. In the center, where Tushin's battery was located, from which Prince Andrey was examining the position, there was the most gentle and straight descent and ascent to the stream that separated us from Schengraben. To the left, our troops adjoined the forest, where the fires of our infantry, chopping wood, were smoking. The French line was wider than ours, and it was clear that the French could easily bypass us on both sides. Behind our position was a steep and deep ravine, along which it was difficult for artillery and cavalry to retreat. Prince Andrey, leaning on the cannon and taking out his wallet, drew for himself a plan for the disposition of the troops. In two places he put notes in pencil, intending to communicate them to Bagration. He intended, firstly, to concentrate all the artillery in the center and, secondly, to transfer the cavalry back to the other side of the ravine. Prince Andrew, constantly being with the commander-in-chief, watching the movements of the masses and general orders and constantly engaging in historical descriptions of battles, and in this upcoming matter, he involuntarily understood the future course of hostilities only in general terms. He imagined only the following major accidents: “If the enemy leads an attack on the right flank,” he said to himself, “the Kiev grenadier and Podolsk jaegers will have to hold their positions until the reserves of the center come close to them. In this case, the dragoons can hit the flank and overturn them. In the event of an attack on the center, we set up a central battery on this hill and, under its cover, pull together the left flank and retreat to the ravine in echelons, "he reasoned with himself ...

Valery Soronokov, Vitaly Sergeev, Andrey Volkov, Zinaida Borisova, Lyudmila Alparova, Svetlana Galyant and Irina Rodi did not bring gold medals to the Russian national team at the SAMBO World Super Cup on the very first day of the competition. Silver - y Denis Seminog, Vladimir Milishnikov, Eduard Kurginyan and Minakova Vitaly... In four weight categories and out of ten, indicated in the program of the first day of the competition, the final was played between representatives of the national team, and in two categories our sambo wrestlers took the entire podium. The closest "pursuers" of Russians, Belarusians - 2 "gold", 3 "silver" and 3 "bronze".

The first victory in the piggy bank of our team brought Valery Soronokov, the reigning Russian super lightweight champion, silver medalist of the 2009 World Championship, defeating a more titled athlete from Georgia Ushangi Kuzanashvili... “This fight was important to me. I think that Ushangi will be my main rival at the World Championship, so the desire to win was great, especially since I played in Russia, at home, ”Valery shared.

Among women, the most intriguing was the fight of the 10-time world champion in absolute weight Irina Rodina and Yulia Barusik from Belarus... The rival of the famous Russian woman was larger, physically stronger and much younger. In the midst of the fight - in the third minute of the meeting - the score was equal, 2-2. However, Irina concentrated, made a throw, which the judges estimated at 1 point, and did not allow her opponent to win back. "Irina, you have a surname that does not imply defeat!" - noted the journalists when the Motherland rose to the podium. “Yes, everyone associates my name with the Motherland, with their country. And every time I step out on the carpet, I feel that my country, my city, my family are behind me. And for me the surname has already become a kind of talisman that helps me to win! ”The champion agreed.

Incredibly gambling was the decisive duel in heavyweight champion among men. The finalists of the Russian Championship, which took place just two weeks ago in Yaroslavl, fought for the World Super Cup. However, this time the outcome of the meeting between the Ryazan and Bryansk heroes turned out to be the opposite. Andrey Volkov proved that he can seriously compete with the current leader of the national team, Vitaly Minakov, who has brilliantly managed to hold the title of the strongest sambist on the planet for two years. “This was a very principled meeting for me, - admitted Andrey Volkov... - The competition is very difficult, there were no weak rivals, and as if it were evil, I seemed to get up on the wrong foot today, I somehow managed to get to the final. And in the final I concentrated and won. For me, the victory in this tournament is very important, it sets me up for further rivalry. "

“Volkov and Minakov keep score of their meetings, and he was equal, 3-3. And today Andrey took the lead 4-3, - explained head coach of the national team Dmitry Troshkin... - And this is good, when there is competition, then there is movement forward. Very soon, Andrey Volkov will compete at the European Championship, and a positive attitude, self-confidence is now important. Vitaly will represent the country at the World SAMBO Championships in November, and he has time to correct mistakes and prepare for a responsible start. "

“The competition for the World Super Cup is very tough,” continued Dmitry Troshkin. - The composition of the participants is very representative - 26 countries. The coaches of the national teams of the leading sambist powers brought the best athletes here, they will also be our competitors at the European Championship, which will be held in May. But I am satisfied with the results of the past day, I think our guys have shown themselves worthy. "

On the second day of the competition only Irina Omelyanova from Belarus in weight up to 68 kilograms managed to reach the final - all the prizes in the other categories were taken by the Russians, and won four gold, three silver and four bronze medals. Susanna Mirzoyan, Yana Kostenko, Olga Ryzhova, Anna Subbotina- on the highest step of the pedestal. Maria Molchanova, Tatiana Zhernyakova and Ksenia Yezhova took second place.

The performance of the men's team was no less successful - in honor of the winners the anthem of Russia sounded three times, in two categories all steps of the podium were taken by Russians. One gold medal won by the team of Belarus - Alexey Stepankov became the first in weight up to 82 kilograms. One "silver" for the national team of Kazakhstan - Erbolat Baybatyrov reached the final in the category up to 57 kilograms, but lost to the Russian in the decisive match Elkhat Agaev... Muscovites Nikita Kletskov and Maxim Neganov- proved leadership in categories up to 68 and up to 100 kilograms, respectively. Denis Davydov, Vladmir Prikazchikov, Ahmed Dzharimok- among the silver medalists.

Triumph of the Russian national team in combat sambo was a worthy end to the day. Competitions were held in three weight categories, and our athletes won all the gold, silver and bronze medals. Rashad Muradov, Arsen Temirkhanov and Sultan Aliyev became the owners of the World Super Cup.

In the overall standings, the Russians won 17 gold, 16 silver, and 16 bronze medals at the Sambo World Super Cup "AA Kharlampiev Memorial".

Sambo is not only a unique sports martial arts, the traditions of which are rooted in national types of wrestling (fist fighting, Russian, Georgian, Tatar, Armenian, Kazakh, Uzbek wrestling, Finnish-French, American freestyle, English Lancashire and Cumberland wrestling, Swiss , Japanese judo and others), but also the only sport in the world where Russian is recognized as the official language of international communication.

Today we are talking with Vitaly Nikolayevich Sergeev, an outstanding athlete and multiple sambo champion under the internal affairs bodies. This man is a shining example of what a modern policeman should be - strong, dexterous and resilient, as well as being able to protect himself and civilians without the use of weapons.

1.Vitaly, we know that you have earned many awards and sports titles... How did your sports career and why did you choose this particular sport?

I have been practicing SAMBO since I was 12. I have always been attracted to sports, films about how people, having gone through numerous obstacles, became champions in any sports industry. In the fifth grade, my classmates invited me to watch their SAMBO training. Several people from the class were involved in this sport. The struggle completely captured my soul: there was an excitement to win a capture, master throws, creases, holdings, painful holds... And the unchanging code of a sambo wrestler on protecting the weak, helping the elders, using the knowledge and techniques gained only for self-defense purposes only delighted in his nobility. Without hesitation, I signed up for the sambo section, trained hard and mastered combat skills... Graduated from the Russian State University of Physical Education, Sport and Tourism, specialist in physical culture in the direction of combat sports.

2. How long ago did you come to the internal affairs bodies? What awards and titles did you earn while serving in the ATC?

I have been serving in the internal affairs bodies since 2004. All this time in the Department of Internal Affairs for the Northern Administrative District. I am a multiple champion of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate in self-defense without weapons, an honored master of sports in sambo, a master of sports in judo, two-time world champion 2005-2006, winner of the World Cup in sambo, four-time champion of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in sambo, champion World Games police officers and firefighters in New York in judo, as well as a multiple champion International tournaments category "A". I am in the rank of lieutenant of the internal service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. I also want to say that I am not going to stop there, there are still many competitions and tournaments ahead, in which I want to win.

3. What people played the most important role in your becoming a champion?

Of course, these are my parents and my first coach. My parents raised me strictly, taught me to respect elders and honor family values. The coach taught me not to give in to difficulties not only in sports, but also in life. I owe him a lot. He always delved into the problems of his pupils, tried to help if someone had difficult situations. He helped many in the upbringing of a persistent and strong-willed character. My coach did not spare his energy or time, so that we became not easy good athletes but also good people.

4. What would you like to wish young athletes?

I have always been for a healthy nation, and I wanted people to choose sports instead of alcohol, cigarettes, drugs. Even if you will not play sports in the future, discipline, perseverance, endurance, endurance, self-control and willpower will contribute to success in any field of activity. I was an ordinary boy, there were thousands, and that's what I achieved. Of course, it is much more difficult to seriously engage in sports than playing computer games, in addition to talent, you also need hard work and patience, but young people will be able to achieve great results, travel around different cities and countries to become strong and courageous. You need to say to yourself: “I went out to win!”, And then everything will work out. Anyone can become a champion.

We thank Vitaly Nikolaevich for such interesting story, and in turn we wish him well-being and success in his sports activities!

On February 15, at the Dynamo Sports Palace in Moscow, the winners and prize-winners of the Sambo Championship of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia were awarded. The strongest athletes got the right to participate in the selection for the World and European Championships - the press service of the All-Russian Sambo Federation reports.

517 policemen fought for leadership, 80 teams - record number participants. SAMBO Championships among the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Central Internal Affairs Directorate and the Internal Affairs Directorate by subjects Russian Federation was first combined with the championship educational institutions Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia - before, these competitions were held at different times.

Among the contenders for the title of champion of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were real sambo stars - six-time world sambo champion Rais Rakhmatullin, the current absolute leader of the country's sambo wrestlers, two-time champion world Vitaly Minakov, two-time world champions Vitaly Sergeev and Timur Gallyamov, world champion Ruslan Gasimov, reigning European champion Artem Osipenko and others.

The gold and silver medals of the Ministry of Internal Affairs championship are a pass to the main start of the year - the Russian Sambo Championship. Therefore, the struggle to reach the final was uncompromising. “These competitions are interesting precisely because the Honored Master of Sports can meet with a candidate for master here, and no one will concede. All the fights were spectacular and dramatic. There were no passing matches - each victory was given to our champions at the cost of fantastic tension, ”noted the President of the All-Russian Sambo Federation Sergei Vladimirovich Eliseev.
The victory in the most prestigious weight category- over 100 kilograms - Andrei Volkov, an officer of the Internal Affairs Directorate for the Ryazan Region. Experts unanimously named Vitaly Minakov, an employee of the Bryansk Regional Department of Internal Affairs, as the favorite in the heavyweight division, reigning champion the world, the absolute leader of the national team. However, the most last fight the championship ended with the most unpredictable result. The victory was brought to Andrei Volkov by 4 points, received for holding the enemy - one of the "vital" tricks in the arsenal of a policeman. Grips and restraints are the main elements of escorting.

Following the results of the struggle in the individual competition, the champions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia became

  • Denis Cherentsov,
  • Sergey Fillipov,
  • Vitaly Sergeev,
  • Vladimir Prikazchikov,
  • Rais Rakhmatullin,
  • Artem Osipenko,
  • Andrey Volkov.

In the team competition at the sambo championship of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia among the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of the Internal Affairs Directorate for the constituent entities of the Russian Federation

  1. place - the team of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of Moscow,
  2. place - policemen of the Moscow region,
  3. place - the team of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Tatarstan.

By the way, in addition to wrestling competitions, the participants in the MVD championship compete in the ability to use self-defense techniques in practice. Self-defense test is a traditional part of the competition. Here, as in an exam, a judge gives a command, one of the athletes portrays a criminal (imitates a knife strike or other action - depending on which "ticket" gets caught), the other, using sambo techniques, tries to repel the attack.

Maksim Neganov, an employee of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate in Moscow, demonstrated the best technique in the qualification tests.
On the initiative of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of Moscow, the championship held for the first time demonstration performances on self-defense among women. Today, among the police officers - 20% of the fair sex. The girls showed an excellent level of self-defense skills. “This is a very good initiative. And we will come up with a proposal to the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to hold a championship among women in self-defense, - noted the President of the All-Russian Sambo Federation Sergei Vladimirovich Eliseev. - Recently, we have noticed that more and more attention is paid to our sport in law enforcement agencies. Communicating with representatives of the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, we see a positive attitude towards SAMBO. Opinions are increasingly heard that in all departments and divisions of the ministry, the main service-applied type of single combat should be developed. It has already been created specifically for the law enforcement system - this is sambo. The domestic sport has already proved its effectiveness and viability. "
