It was hard to believe in a victory over Wales - physically powerful teams have always been problematic for, and the current Wales has not only fighters, but world-class players in the person of Aaron Ramsey and Gareth Bale. But the Slovak national team, as I thought, could be beaten - the composition of the Russian national team still allowed us to hope so.
As a result, with our beloved national team, I got burned three times as a forecaster: a draw with the British was won, as they say, not thanks to, but in spite of, the Slovaks we lost completely on the case, and from Wales we suffered a crushing defeat.
In general, about the game, so I don't want to repeat myself. Well, at least the fans made me happy - in mass fights with the British, ours, judging by media reports, won.
And the group was deservedly won by the national team of Wales. A competent and trained team that includes more than just Bale and Ramsey. Goalkeeper Hennessy, team captain Ashley Williams, midfielder Joe Allen are all very decent players.
