Valentin Belkevich. Legends don't go away

A beautiful romance and a luxurious wedding are not always followed by a long and happy family relationship. One of the brightest famous couples of the last decade had a chance to make sure of this on their own experience. Anna Sedokova and Valentin Belkevich, their marriage lasted less than two years, however, the history of these relations is of great public interest even after many years. One of the most successful football players in the country, and the star of the most popular girlish musical group, they were not embarrassed by either a ten-year age difference or other circumstances, but who would have thought that such a beautifully twisted relationship would come to naught so quickly and scandalously .

Anna Sedokova and Valentin Belkevich: a love story

Their relationship began quite by accident, the first husband of Anna Sedokova, Valentin Belkevich, ironically visited the same hairdresser as the performer. They often crossed paths in a salon located in Kyiv, but their communication was limited only to a greeting. After several months of such chance meetings, the football player got the phone number of the young person who charmed him, and one day he simply called and invited Anya to go bowling. From that very moment, their stormy romance begins, the 21-year-old girl truly fell in love for the first time, and Valentine also showed quite tender feelings for her. The young man was not even stopped by the fact that he himself was not free at that time, the football player had a civil wife named Lesya, with whom he lived for more than 10 years. Their relationship with Anna seemed to young people then only in a rosy light, and just five months after the start of a stormy romance, the performer discovered that she was pregnant. Naturally, the first person she told about this was Valentine, the football player was incredibly happy about this news, and immediately invited her lover to formalize their relationship.

The young artist was in love and happy, and she had no thoughts that the fairy tale might one day end. However, a few days before the happy marriage, future spouse presented his beloved with a marriage contract for signature. As Anna later said, she was very hurt and even offended, but she did not want to quarrel on the eve of the wedding, so she did not even show it, and simply signed the papers, considering them to be a mere formality. Their wedding was one of the brightest and most publicized events of that time, and just three days later the first grandiose scandal took place. The newlyweds quarreled right at the airport, in front of the entire Dynamo team, flying to the training camp in Yalta. This trip was supposed to be a "honeymoon" for the spouses, and as a result, Valentine got angry and refused to help his pregnant wife with luggage, and the singer herself had to drag all the suitcases and bags.

Everyone who knew this famous couple personally was surprised how people so different in all respects could come together. Anya liked to draw attention to herself and always be at the center of the main events, and Valentin preferred to always stay on the sidelines, hated journalists, and did not want to discuss his personal life. However, for the sake of her beloved, the performer even decided to leave her successful career in the mega-popular VIA Gre, and turned into a housewife. She really tried to be an exemplary wife: she cooked, maintained comfort in the house and abandoned all social events. But this did not help to strengthen the family, and a chill ran between the spouses. Even when the couple had a baby daughter, Alina Belkevich, this did not help to improve relations. The husband began to return home later, and after that, at times he even spent the night outside the house. Anya cried, tried to talk, but this did not give any result, and later she found out that her husband was dating his ex-civil wife Lesya. As it turned out, it was this woman that he truly loved all his life, and the young performer was for him, though very strong, but still a fleeting hobby. When everything was revealed, Sedokova realized that their marriage had long been one big deceit, and therefore, she decided to just leave. Under the terms of the marriage contract, she was left with nothing, so she had to start everything from scratch. Belkevich's daughter stayed with her mother, after the divorce, her father, although he did not indulge the heiress with attention, helped financially. True, there was another attempt to reunite the couple, but it failed miserably, and Valentine nevertheless finally chose Lesya.

Death of Valentin Belkevich

After the divorce, for a long time, Anya claimed in an interview that the main reason for this was her husband's ban on her return to the big stage. But years later, the performer nevertheless admitted that she had lost in such a protracted struggle with her rival. The celebrity also noted that she maintains normal relations with her ex-spouse for the benefit of their common daughter, and never allowed herself to speak badly or disrespectfully about her father in her presence. It is only noteworthy that the ex-husband Anya never introduced his parents, and at the moment tragic death they had never even seen their only granddaughter as a football player.

His life in its prime was interrupted by a fatal blood clot. The football player, and later a successful coach, was only 41 years old at that time. Valentin passed away on August 1, 2014, the young man's heart suddenly stopped. As relatives say, everything happened just like lightning, in the evening in his own house the football player suddenly complained about a sharp deterioration in health, he sat down on the sofa and ... everything, the ambulance that arrived only recorded the fact of the death of a celebrity. He was buried in Kyiv, at the Baikove cemetery, they say that his parents wanted Valentin to rest in his native Minsk, but his widow Lesya insisted on the Ukrainian capital. Hundreds of people came to the farewell ceremony for the legend, they were friends, relatives, colleagues of the deceased, and ordinary Dynamo fans who were shocked by what had happened. Among those who saw off the footballer on his last journey, only his ex-wife Anna was not. The performer later explained her absence as follows: she believes that he had his own story and his own family, with whom she did not want to meet face to face. And Sedokova was never able to tell her daughter about what happened, who, although she rarely saw her father, loved him very much. Later, the girl learned about the tragedy by accident, from completely strangers, which was a real shock for her, the singer still cannot forgive herself for this.

Litigation for the inheritance of Valentin Belkevich

After the death of the famous football player, a lawsuit was launched for the legacy he left in the form of an expensive apartment in Kyiv, numerous sports awards, as well as a large amount of money. Since the athlete died suddenly and at a fairly young age, he did not leave any will, so the heirs decided to clear up their dispute and claims in court. It should be noted that in addition to legal litigation, an information war also began between Valentin's ex-wife Anna Sedokova and his widow Lesya Belkevich. The singer in an interview calls her rival nothing more than her husband's mistress and a homemaker, and also claims that Lesya does not get in touch and does not appear at a meeting in the courtroom.

In turn, the athlete's widow is outraged by such treatment, she lived with Valentin for more than 20 years, and even during his marriage to the performer, he kept in touch with her. It turns out that Lesya was before, after and even during their relationship with Anya, a constant woman in his life. She bears his last name, and Valentin raised her son from her first marriage as his own, by the way, many throughout this time thought that the boy was his son. The woman also calls a lie what Sedokova claims that she does not get in touch. Lesya notes that no one even tried to contact her or her lawyer, and she learned about the meeting after the fact, and she has no reason to delay the process.

Be that as it may, but the case has not moved forward so far, and to date, not a single court decision has been made.

This is some kind of horror ... I don’t believe it ... He was a brilliant athlete, strategist and good man. He loved his daughter. He was loved and respected by millions. And especially one little girl... Thank you for your words of encouragement. Thank you, - wrote Sedokova.

As they told Komsomolskaya Pravda in Ukraine, surrounded by the singer, she learned the tragic news closer to dinner and could not recover for a long time.

I had a chance to work with Valentin at Dynamo for the last two years in the coaching field. I can only say the best about this man. He was honest, decent, intelligent and quite educated. He did not complain about health, everything was fine. Last week we talked with him, and this week the connection was cut off ... I called him a few days ago - he did not pick up the phone ... Therefore, the news of his death is a real shock for me.

Valentin Belkevich is a man from our Dynamo family. A man who has done a lot for football. It was an extraordinary master. He is from that era and generation of players with whom Dynamo had its own identity. And even though they didn’t win anything big in Europe, they were nevertheless taken into account, they kept the Dynamo (Kyiv) brand for a very high level.

In my opinion, there are no people who would not be comfortable with Valentine. He is quite a sociable person. It was easy for me to communicate with him - we played in the same language, worked in the same language, we had a lot of similarities. He is the kind of person who, I think, has never been in conflict with anyone.

Life, unfortunately, is unfair and unmerciful. It does not flow in the opposite direction, taking the best among us. Valentin Belkevich played 334 matches for Dynamo Kyiv, scoring 69 goals. The legendary playmaker, "conductor", the heart of the team, whose excellent combinations, magnificent shots and goals scored will forever remain in the memory of football fans.

Belkevich was also successful in the coaching field. Under his leadership, Dynamo became the champion of Ukraine in the tournament among 19-year-old football players, young players progressed and reached a new level. The whole life of Valentin Belkevich was connected exclusively with football. This game was everything for him, and Valentine gave herself to her to the end.

I sympathize with the parents and relatives of my friend and excellent footballer Valentin Belkevich,” Artem Milevsky wrote on his Instagram. - May the earth rest in peace. It's terrible and very scary.

FROM A PERSONAL CASE

Valentin BELKEVICH was born on January 27, 1973 in Minsk. He played as a midfielder in the clubs "Dynamo" (Minsk), "Dynamo" (Kyiv), "Inter" (Baku).

In the Premier League for Kiev "Dynamo" played 212 matches, scored 50 goals. In the Cup of Ukraine - 38 matches, 8 goals. In European competition - 67 matches, 12 goals.

BY THE WAY

What was he silent about?

Dina DNEPROVA

Everyone knows that Valentin Belkevich was not very sociable with journalists and did not really like the press, but if he wanted to, he could tell at least a few interesting facts from his biography.

UNUSUAL FAMILY

Valentin Belkevich's mother is a Russian language teacher at the institute. Father is a historian. And the son is a football player. Although with education he himself also had everything in order: one higher legal, the other, of course, he received at the Institute of Physical Education. Legal specialization, by the way, has never been superfluous.

DISQUALIFICATION

In September 1994, while playing for Dynamo Minsk, he was suspended for a year by UEFA for doping. In fact, since the autumn of 1993, Belkevich had problems with his knee. The club doctor Vasily Dmitrakov was engaged in his treatment. At that time, there were no doping controls in European competition matches. Therefore, no one kept a strict record of the use of medicines, medical procedures. In Minsk, a doctor simply gave injections of retabolil, which is used not only for building muscle mass but also to strengthen bones. Traces of the banned substance remained in the body months later. In the spring, Dmitrakov died, no medical records remained after him. And in August, after the match with the Maltese in the UEFA Cup, no one could give a clear explanation. As a result, Belkevich had to miss a year.

IT DID NOT WORK WITH "VIA Groy"

In 2004, Belkevich married the famous Ukrainian singer Anna Sedokova (from the VIA Gra group). After some time, the couple divorced. On December 8, 2004, their daughter Alina was born. Alina's godmother is the wife of Goran Sablic, at that time the defender of Dynamo Kyiv.

BILLIARDS MASTER

Valentin perfectly played Russian billiards, and no one specially taught him. Like all the guys, he approached the table at the base in free time, so I got carried away. In addition to him, Andrey Shevchenko, Oleg Gusev and Maxim Shatskikh played very well. They liked to play anything, for example, push-ups. But unlike the card "joker" is not for money.

WHAT IS METRO

Somehow Belkevich admitted that during the years of his life in Kyiv he had never taken the subway:

In Paris, Leningrad, Moscow, Minsk, I had a chance to use the metro, but in Kyiv it didn’t work out yet - there was no reliable conductor. And now it has become even harder. There are huge traffic jams on the streets, you can’t get to the subway.

  • Played 67 matches in European competitions with Dynamo, scored 12 goals

More detailed statistics of Belkevich's performances by season can be found here.

Remembering all the years of your stay at Dynamo, which team of the year do you consider the strongest?
- With great respect for all the players and coaches, I think the strongest team 1999. By game, results, team spirit. Having gathered individually strong performers, Valery Lobanovsky united us with a high goal, taught us to play with the strongest clubs in Europe. The guys went to the matches with Barcelona and Juventus with excitement, but without jitters. We have learned to understand that we are no worse than the vaunted giants, and at the same time forced them to reckon with us.

Belkevich's career in Dynamo Kiev started hard - within two years after moving to the capital of Ukraine, he rarely appeared in the first team (at that time Jozsef Sabo was the Kiev coach), the situation changed with the return of Valery Lobanovsky to the club. He superbly interacted with a pair of forwards Shevchenko-Rebrov, making up the “shock” triangle of Dynamo. For the game model that Valery Lobanovsky brought to life, Belkevich became necessary element system named "Dynamo" - it was he who was the link between the reliable and rich defense of the Kyivans and the mobile attack in the person of Shevchenko and Rebrov. It was he who organized the lion's share of the swift and devastating counterattacks that became Dynamo's signature style in the late 90s.

“In the fall of 1993, my knee hurt. He was treated by our club doctor, Vasily Maksimovich Dmitrakov. At that time, there were no doping controls in European competition matches. Therefore, no one kept a strict record of the use of medicines, medical procedures. It is today in Kyiv that every tablet and even the weight, pressure of the player for each day are entered into the computer memory. So you can restore the picture of well-being and a few years later. And then in Minsk, the club doctor just gave me injections of retabolil. After all, it is used not only to build muscle mass, but also to strengthen bones, which was what I needed. No one imagined that doping tests would begin next summer and, most importantly, that traces of the nandrolone contained in the drug remain in the body months later. Maksimych died in the spring, no medical records remained after him. And when all this happened in August, after the match with the Maltese, no one could give a clear explanation. Who to ask? I have. But how was I to know that I was injected six months ago? I'm not well versed in medicine. I think that I just became a victim of a combination of circumstances.

“I can only agree on Belkevich. He is 33 years old, he has been playing at a high level for many years, at the end of the year his contract expires, we will sit down with him and decide how he sees his fate. If he decides to finish with football, then please - find him a place in sports school or a coach in the second team, especially since I know that Valik would love to be a coach.”

In a TV interview dated 12/15/2006, Igor Surkis said that Valentin Belkevich, as a player, signed a contract with Dynamo for another year. On January 9, 2007, the UEFA website reported that Valentin Belkevich extended his contract with Dynamo Kyiv until the end of 2007. In December 2007, by mutual agreement of the club and the player, the contract between Dynamo and Valentin Belkevich was not extended. In June 2008, Belkevich signed a one-year contract with the Azerbaijani club Inter. However, having received an A coaching license in January 2009, he terminated the contract with Inter by mutual agreement and ended his playing career.

Belkevich Valentin is a former Belarusian footballer and coach who spent most of his career in Ukraine. In 2014, he died at the age of 41 from a thromboembolism. As a player, Valentin Belkevich played as a left midfielder.

Carier start

Belkevich Valentin was born on January 27, 1973 in the USSR, in the city of Minsk - where he began to play football, first joining the Minsk Sports School, and then the Academy of the Minsk Dynamo. He went through all stages of preparation and played for youth squads of various age categories, until in 1991 he signed a professional contract with the then Soviet club. However, he played only two matches for the club from the USSR, because since 1992 Dynamo has been playing in the Belarusian championship. Belkevich Valentin at that time was a great talent and received as much playing time as any mature player. And he made a great contribution to the fact that in the first season of the newly formed Belarusian championship, Dynamo Minsk became the champion. In the five years that Valentin spent at the club, he played 131 matches, scoring 54 goals. And in each of these five years, Dynamo became the champion of Belarus, and twice also won the Belarus Cup. However, in the summer of 1996, the time for change came - Belkevich received an invitation from Dynamo Kyiv, where he moved. It was this club that became the most important for him in his career.

Playing for Dynamo Kiev

Valentin Nikolaevich Belkevich played almost his entire career for Dynamo Kiev - he came there in 1996, when he was only 23 years old, and left the team only when he was already 34 years old, in the winter of 2007. During this time, he played in 222 matches, scored 73 goals and was able to win a large number of trophies. Kiev "Dynamo" was one of the strongest clubs Soviet Union- and became one of the strongest clubs in Ukraine. During his stay in the Ukrainian club, Valentin Nikolaevich Belkevich actually became a legendary person, thanks in large part to his efforts, out of 11 national championships, Dynamo won as many as eight, and also became the winner of the Ukrainian Cup seven times. Moreover, the midfielder in 1999, together with his club, reached the semi-finals of the most prestigious club tournament of the Champions League. It is worth paying attention to the fact that for the first few years Belkevich played most of the time for the double of the club - only since 2001 did he begin to get into the main team on an ongoing basis. In January 2008, his contract with the Kyiv club came to an end - and so ended the history of the football player and the club, which lasted more than ten years.

End of career

The biography of Valentin Belkevich as a football player was striving for completion. After Dynamo Kyiv, he spent six months without a club, thinking about ending his career, but in the summer of 2008 he nevertheless signed a short-term contract with the Azerbaijani Inter. For six months at the club, an experienced player entered the field only five times, without scoring a single goal. And in December 2008, when the contract with Inter expired, Belkevich announced that he was completing professional career footballer.

Performances for the national team

Football player Valentin Belkevich played not only at the club level - he also became one of the defining players of the Belarus national team, which turned out to be far from being as strong as the USSR national team, of which it had previously been a part. Belkevich was called up to the national team of Belarus almost immediately after its formation. His first match took place in October 1992. It was a friendly match between the national teams of Belarus and Ukraine. Belkevich scored his first goal for the national team in May 1994 - again in a match against the Ukrainian national team. Unfortunately, this was the only goal scored by the team, while the Ukrainians scored as many as three goals. In March 1996, for a friendly match against Slovakia, Belkevich led the team for the first time with a captain's armband. At that time he was only 23 years old. In total, during his career, Valentin played 56 matches for the Belarusian national team, scoring ten goals and giving five assists. My last game Belkevich spent for the national team in September 2005, after which he ended his career in it. And, as you already know, after a little over two years, he ended his playing career as a whole.

coaching career

However, Belkevich did not retire from the sport when he ended his playing career in 2008. He spent some time getting his coaching license and in the summer of 2010 was appointed assistant coach of Dynamo Kyiv's reserve team, the club to which he devoted almost his entire career. He spent two years in this position, after which he was appointed coach of the Dynamo youth team. He coached her for one year, after which in the summer of 2013 he was appointed head coach of the double. Belkevich gradually made his way higher and higher and could count on being offered a position in coaching staff the main team soon, and then, perhaps, the position of the head coach. But dreams and plans were not given to come true.

Death of a legend

In the prime of life, at the forty-second year of his life, Valentin Belkevich died when he had such an impressive career ahead of him. The cause of death of Valentin Belkevich is a blood clot. Accordingly, he passed away quickly and painlessly, but this does not make it any easier. After all, Belkevich was one of the most outstanding football players in history. Belarusian football. Given that the cause of death of Valentin Belkevich was rather banal, no additional investigations were conducted. In 2016 in hometown Valentine, Minsk, a memorial plaque was erected in memory of the life and career of the legendary Belarusian football player.
