If he is not in the goal or he has a temporary recession, it means that the whole team is not good enough.
Perhaps the only game in which Sergey did not work out was the last one - against Los Angeles. But there is every reason to think that Tarasenko simply does not have partners of a sufficient level to become the best in the league. Vladimir sorely lacks strong central strikers who can steadily take him to shock positions. Already aging Paul Stiasny in his top three is no longer reaching the level. Vladimir Sobotka, who returned to the NHL, does not look like a super passer either.
