Ball hockey Belarus national team. President of the Belarusian bandy federation Viktor Plyats: news - complete f * ck

One of these days, a significant event should take place in the life of bandy in Belarus: perhaps in the near future the bandy federation in the republic will cease to exist. President of the Republic Bandy Federation Viktor Plyats intends to join the organization to the country's Ice Hockey Association. How does this threaten bandy? Will he live and develop further in the former Soviet republic? Viktor Plyats told about this to the correspondent of the newspaper "Nasha Sibskana".

This year the national team of Belarus did not take part in the world championship. Probably, this news has hardly made anyone very happy: the main international tournament has lost a permanent participant, and other teams have lost a strong rival, and there are not many of them in the world. Only the representatives and fans of the US national team, the permanent leader of the group In recent years, which, despite all efforts, could not beat our neighbors from Sineokoy in transitional matches, could rejoice only. In connection with the non-participation of Belarus, the US team got a happy opportunity to bypass the opponent without meeting with him in person.

And nonsense came out: the US national team got into group A not on a sports principle, - said Viktor Plyats. - For all the years they have never been able to beat us. Neither the Ministry of Sports of the Republic, nor our national Olympic Committee did not understand: what really happened?
Well, let's try to understand. Moreover, the general public about
very little is known about bandy in Belarus. Basically, the fact that the rather strong level of her team is maintained mainly by the legionnaires from Russia, and due to the lack of children's schools, the growth of their players is not yet expected.

"Credit history

If we compare ball hockey and ice hockey, then in Belarus the second type is quoted immeasurably higher, - Viktor Plyats continued. - And not least because the head of state himself is very concerned about this sport. And if the puck is the number one sport, then bandy is somewhere forty-seven, probably. This is such a paradox, although our team is the sixth in the world. I call her the sixth, because while we played in the world championships, we did not rank below the sixth. We didn't play this year, but not because we didn't want to. But because they put us in such a framework. Refusing to participate in the group of the strongest, they offered us as an option to play in group B. But we refused, and the country's sports leadership, as well as the national Olympic committee, supported us in this.

On what conditions was Belarus offered to play in Group B? Have you agreed to "forgive" the fee again? Boris Skrynnik, President of the International Bandy Federation, answered: no one offered Belarus to play in Group B for nothing, as a consolation prize.

Yes, the size of the contribution in group B is smaller, - assured Boris Skrynnik. - But here, first of all, it is important sports principle... If you did not manage to pay the fee and "flew" out of group A, then you must first pay off all debts, and then start from the very beginning, with group B. This option was proposed to Belarus.

Other participants, according to Boris Ivanovich, have no arrears in contributions. How did Belarus accumulate it? When back in 2003 the national team of this country was invited to play in the World Championship, by agreement with the former head of the FIB Albert Pomortsev, the team of Belarus was exempted from paying the fee. It was $ 1,500 and has not changed since then. No, of course, no one officially announced participation in the World Championship free of charge. But at that time there were so few teams playing that, in order to popularize bandy, they decided to postpone the payment of fees for ... some indefinite period.

The certainty came last year, when Boris Skrynnik began to put things in order in the hockey farm entrusted to him. Considering that all seven years of the participation of the Belarusian national team, these contributions seemed to be forgiven, the amount has accumulated a hefty one. At least for the federation of the republic, for which the available funds have been distributed for a long time, and free ones are not expected. And the federation itself should not seek these funds: in Belarus there is an agreement between it and the federations for sports, according to which the Ministry of Sports pays the fees for participation in international tournaments, to which, of course, the world championship belongs.

At the same time, it cannot be said that the news of the need to pay off all debts was unexpected. As Viktor Plyats told us, back in September 2009, Boris Skrynnik personally informed him. But for the remaining time, the ministry was unable to find funds, since all of them were used to prepare for the Olympics. And in December 2009 it was announced that the national team of Belarus would not take part in the world championship.

Schools and stadiums

Among the arguments "against" they talked about the absence in Belarus of conditions for the development of field hockey. In particular, children's schools and domestic championships. But just last year, changes for the better appeared in Belarus.

We connected the trade unions, - said Viktor Mikhailovich, - we convinced people that it is necessary to develop field hockey. And the trade unions allocated rates for children's coaches, thanks to him in three cities were created a youth sports school for bandy: two in Orsha, and one each in Novopolotsk and Minsk. In each school, we managed to recruit groups, an average of 20 students. As for the domestic championship, it has already been held three times: in the winter of 2005, 2006 and 2008, at the beginning of the year - immediately after the end of the world championships. In the same year, non-participation in the World Championship severely crippled those who need bandy in the republic. We lost heart, and we did not hold the national championship.

Regarding the base, we also have nothing to complain about: only in Minsk there are two skating rinks with artificial ice, one outdoor, the second indoor, "Minsk-Arena". This is generally a unique sports facility, this was not the case in the USSR, it is not now in the world. It includes three areas: a cycle track, an ice hockey field and a field hockey field, plus treadmill... The dimensions of the ice field are 120x70 meters, if necessary, the sides can be easily removed from the puck platform, and the field is transformed into a ice hockey rink.

- Viktor Mikhailovich, and on whose initiative it was decided to adapt this arena for bandy?

This was done by order of the head of state. Your humble servant, I note, made a lot of efforts for this. But now bandy has a very difficult situation. And the other day we sit down at the negotiating table with the chairman of the ice hockey federation Yevgeny Vorsin. The organization that unites ice hockey in Belarus is called the Ice Hockey Association, following the example of the football association, which includes indoor soccer, beach soccer, women's soccer, and so on. There is an option: to join this association. If the negotiations do not have a positive outcome, then there can be no talk of any development of bandy.

As for the repayment of the debt to the FIB, I think that this year we will resolve this issue, since it turned out to be so fundamental. And if the Americans so wanted to get into group A, and the FIB decided that they were worthy of it, then they could expand it to 8 teams and let the USA and Canada go there. The other members of Group A would not mind. I spoke with the leaders of the bandy federations from Ukraine, Latvia, USA, Canada. And everyone agreed that the exclusion of Belarus from Group A was not good, and that the composition of Group A could be expanded to 8 teams.

However, Boris Skrynnik was more than skeptical about the possibility of expanding group A:

These are all theories.

Will Belarus be able to play at the next World Championship, in Kazan, and on what conditions? Will having internal infrastructure like schools and championships make a difference?

No, this is an internal affair of each country. But there is another point. The FIB allocated about $ 18,000 to the Federation of Belarus for development. So far I have not seen any reporting on how they were used. To take part in the next world championship, the representatives of Belarus need, firstly, to pay all arrears in contributions, and secondly, to provide reports on the funds spent. Then they will be able to general conditions join group B and start from the very beginning.

With regard to this report, Viktor Plyats said the following: the funds received were spent mainly on equipment and uniforms for the players, and a report on this was drawn up and brought to the FIB congress. However, FIB General Secretary Bo Newman and Vice President Magnus Skold did not consider it, explaining that the debt must first be paid. Apparently, in the absence of this circumstance, the report simply did not reach the leadership in the person of Skrynnik.
So if bandy in Belarus does not die, then hockey players have a chance to regain their place in the group of the strongest. Once they easily managed to defend their place in Group A, they will be able to take it again with the same confidence, squeezing out the “lucky ones” from the US national team. I wonder if the composition of group A will be expanded in this case?

The Belarusian national team will not play at the World Bandy Championship. It's all about the underdevelopment of this sport and the complete absence of a material base.

"Sovetskaya Belorussia" writes about the problems of the development of field hockey in Belarus.
“At the World Bandy (bandy) championship, which will be held in Moscow at the end of January, the US national team will play in Group A instead of the Belarusian national team.” This news, which in relation to any other sport (and even more so "classical" hockey) would have become a real bomb, went almost unnoticed. And many of those who are in the know, even considered that this was going on, in general, a long time ago.
V last years there were only two real intrigues at the world bandy championships. Who is Russia or Sweden? - become the champion and how the match for the right to retain a place in group "A" will end with no less traditional composition of participants. The contender invariably became the US team, the candidate for the elimination was the Belarus national team, to which the neighbors in the elite bullet regularly “shipped” 10 - 20 goals per match. At the same time, in America, "Russian hockey" is making attempts to develop, there is a championship, a full-fledged national team ... Which, alas, cannot be said about our country.
There is no full-size site for bandy, as well as the national championship, in Belarus. The national team is also a phenomenon in itself. Usually it was formed a couple of weeks before the world championship, when on the basis of one of Russian clubs athletes gathered (mostly former "washers") and under the leadership Russian coach Nikolai Solovyov (later he was replaced at the post top scorer team - Sergei Chernetsky from Krasnoyarsk "Yenisei"), with the support of several legionnaires from Russia, provided the necessary score in the only (play-off) match against the US national team. This was followed by assurances that now everything will definitely change, Belarus will have its own team and already at the next championship ...
And now the "idyll" seems to be over. Moreover, according to the official statement of the Secretary General of the Federation of International Bandy Boo Newman, the point was made ... by the Belarusians themselves, who "too late confirmed their participation in the World Championship." There may be several reasons for this. First, it is worth mentioning the organizers of the championship. Back in August, its participants received reports that in 2010 the world forum of bandists ... would not take place. On the decision of Moscow Mayor Luzhkov to quit hockey players Lifebuoy and it became known to hold a tournament in Moscow only in mid-October ... However, some of the bandy close to the backstage hastened to find an American trace in this story. Say, tired of "stars and stripes" wasting to invest in the development of this sport, losing to the "farm club" Russian team, and they asked the international federation to hold back the application of the Belarusians ...
- I am sure that this whole story with an overdue application is not worth a damn, - the chairman of the Belarusian Federation Viktor Plyats was caught at the Moscow airport: he flew to Finland to the executive committee of the International Bandy Federation. - The fact is that the International Federation is now headed not by its official president Boris Skrinnik, but by the Swedes and the Americans. And they have a grudge against us for a long time.
The new leadership of the federation was elected recently - at the beginning of the year. Digging through the archives, Secretary General Boo Newman discovered that since 2003 Belarus ... has never paid a membership fee. Almost 12 thousand dollars. The result of this "revision" was the decision to deport the team to the lower division.
- At one time, the former chairman of the FIB, Albert Pomortsev, needed to increase the number of FIB members (to include the sport in Olympic program), - explains the "shortage" of Plyats. - At his invitation, we created a federation, recruited a team and began to participate in the championships. As a support, he exempted us from dues. The screenwriter was "promoted" by the Swedes, and they have their own view of this situation. They lobby the interests of the American national team.
The position of the Swedes is also easily explainable. The vice-president of the USA Bandy Association is the Swede Magnus Skold. And after 4 years of unsuccessful attempts to win butt match at the world championships, he seized the opportunity to solve the problem behind the scenes like a bulldog. By the way, it was the Swedish bandy federation that was the first, in fact, even before the final decision was made, to spread the news about the exclusion of the Belarusians.
- Will we be able to solve this problem? The probability is 50 to 50, - says Viktor Mikhailovich. - But for us, any outcome is not fatal. The Ministry of Sports did not support our sport anyway. Organized three training camps in 3 years. No uniform, no equipment, not to mention the site ... And the FIB, thanks to this demarche, actually unleashed a civil war. At one time we brought three countries to the international federation - Ukraine, Latvia and Lithuania. Now the federation, which almost disrupted the holding of the World Cup, will be divided into two camps, which will also not add to its Olympic chances.
The most interesting thing in this whole story is that the current world championship could well have been held ... in Belarus! Literally two years ago - in September 2007 - at the NOC during a meeting of the leaders of the Belarusian Bandy Federation with Boris Skrinnik, this possibility was considered quite seriously and, moreover, the Belarusians were even promised support. In turn, the receiving party assured that at least one suitable for holding international tournament the field - in the center of the skating oval "Minsk-Arena" - will be in the country by that time. The day before, ice was poured onto the oval. But whether bandy will appear on it now is a big question.

At the world championship held in Sweden, the national bandy team of Belarus retained its place in the elite division. Having lost all matches in the main tournament (and most of them with a crushing score) in a transitional match for the right to play in the strongest division and in next year, Belarusians beat the US national team - 3: 1.

For many years nothing has changed in one of the most mysterious sports in Belarus. Bandy (aka bandy, aka Russian hockey) is remembered in our country only in January - when the next world championship is held. The fact is that bandy does not exist in Belarus. In the truest sense of the word. There is the Belarusian Bandy Federation. There is its chairman. And ... that's all. There is not a single stadium for Russian hockey in Belarus. Yes, even if there was, there is no one to play on it: there is not a single team in our country. Neither professional nor amateur. In fact, there is not a single Russian hockey player in the country!

Who defends the colors of Belarus at the World Championships? Yes, all the same ordinary ice hockey players, diluted with "naturalized" Russians. However, “naturalized” is a loud saying, since these Russians visit Belarus no more often than the world championships are held. And even less often. It is they, the players who are not part of the main Russian national team, who are the main impact force the national team of Belarus. By the way, before the start of the current World Championship, the American Bandy Association protested about Yevgeny Khvalko's participation in the World Championship as a member of the Belarusian national team, as he had previously played several matches for the Russian national team. However, in the end E. Khvalko was allowed to play at the World Cup - the Russians did not make any claims. As a result, in the match with the Russians (which ended, let us remind you, with a score of 2:14), it was Yevgeny Khvalko who scored both "Belarusian" goals. At the gates of the Russian national team stood ... Kirill Khvalko, the Russian brother of Khvalko-Belarusian.

The “successes” of the “Belarusian bandy” are stable: the sixth (last) place in the main tournament, a heroic victory in the transitional match for the right to remain in the elite, and there are many words that “just about” everything will change, get off the ground in Belarus your own team will appear, etc. etc. But ... the soap opera continues.

There is no progress in the achievements of the Belarusians - the lag of our team in the class from the leaders - Russia, Sweden, Finland - is very great. We do not even reach Kazakhstan. We have been trying to give battle to Norway for a year, but to no avail. Of course, it's nice to beat the Americans in hockey (albeit with a ball). What's the point? Present on the international arena Belarusians as a sports nation? It is highly doubtful that the defeat of 2:14 from the Russians, 1:12 from the Finns, or 3:13 from the Swedes greatly raised the rating of the Belarusian bandy in particular and the Belarusian sport in general. Promotion of sports and popularization of ball hockey in our country? For all the years of participation of the Belarusian national team in the world championships, few Belarusians suspect the existence of such a team, and only a few are interested in the results of its performance. Nevertheless, according to the plans of the International Bandy Federation, the 2012 World Championship should be held in Belarus. I wonder where exactly? And how many spectators will there be in the stands?

In some ways, the “Belarusian bandy” project resembles a soap bubble that can burst at any moment. And almost no one will notice this. Only at the World Cup will there be one less statistician, yes international federation bandy will feel sad - not because she will feel sorry for the “original” Belarusian team. It's just that the bendists have been fighting for many years to have this sport included in the winter program. Olympic Games... And this requires a certain number of countries (25) cultivating this sport. So there appeared mysterious "extras" like Belarus and very strange "phantoms" like the bandy federations of Argentina, Australia and India.

And in the final of the World Championship, which ended on January 25, Russia and Sweden traditionally came together. This time the Swedes were stronger - 6: 1. In total, only three countries have become world champions in the entire history of the world championships. Russia (formerly the USSR) became world champion 19 times, Sweden - 9, and once the gold was won by the Finnish national team.

Miscellaneous. The president Belarusian federation ball hockey Viktor Plyats: news - complete f * ck

2017-01-20 19:35:04

President of the Bandy Federation of Belarus Victor Plyats spoke about the difficult situation with the financing of the national team.

“In general, the news is“ a complete ass. ”It was never good with the funding of the Belarusian team, but the team participated in the group of the strongest for many years. There was always not enough money. But the former leaders of the Ministry of Sports and Tourism understood that Belarus’s participation in the World Championships in field hockey, and even in group "A", where such giants of world hockey as Russia, Sweden, Finland, Norway, USA, Canada play - it is worth a lot. at the 2004 Athens Olympics Congress, bandy was recognized Olympic view sports.

Former ministers of sports of Belarus Ananyev, Vorsin, Sivakov, Grigorov are real professionals who are guided by the twists and turns big sport, perfectly understood the significance successful performance of the national team of Belarus at the International arena. Well, in what team sports could the Belarusian teams beat the United States for many years? Perhaps in handball. But when was it? The current generation does not even remember this. With the arrival of Mr. Shamko in the Ministry of Sports, the situation with the development of field hockey in Belarus worsened from year to year. This leader never once deigned to take an interest in the problems of the development of field hockey in the country. You need to be a professional in the place that is entrusted to a person by the president of the state and be responsible for your work, paid by the people.

During the years of Shamko's reign of the Ministry of Sports, the national bandy team of Belarus played at 4 world bandy championships, but we are still picking up the mess that this man made on the eve of the 2013 World Cup. According to Maxim Ryzhenkov, the minister promised to allocate not the entire amount for the team's participation in the championship, but only half. Like, look for the rest from sponsors. All the players bought tickets to Sweden for their own money, trained for 4 days and ate also for their own money, hoping that the minister would resolve the issue of refunding the money, at least after the championship. But no. After the team returned home, there was no response from the minister. Silence! The players were simply deceived. Further - it gets worse! Irkutsk-2014, Khabarovsk-2015 and Ulyanovsk-2016 were ahead. All training camps were paid not by the Ministry of Sports, but by the federation. The Russian Federation helped with tickets from Moscow.

The participation of the Belarusian team at the World Championship in Sandviken, Sweden is on the verge of collapse. Players and coaches cannot afford to buy round-trip air tickets to Stockholm, let alone finance TCB in Sweden for at least 4 days from their own pocket. The minister, as always, took the position: "my house is on the edge." So, most likely, the fans of Sweden, Russia, Kazakhstan, Finland and Norway will not see Belarus at the World Bandy Championship, "Plyats said.

At the 2016 World Cup and 2015 World Cup Belarus ranked sixth, in 2014 the team became the seventh.

Please, ask this question to the Belarusians, who filled skating rinks and stadiums back in the 50s practically all over the country. Actually, for the decline of Russian hockey in the post-Soviet territory, a big "thank you" to the late Anatoly Tarasov should be said. It was with his filing that they wanted to cover this sport in 1962 in favor of the Canadian variety. Under his leadership, the USSR national team failed the Olympics in Squaw Valley, so he hammered the country's sports department in order to throw all his strength into the development of ice hockey. And he almost succeeded, although Russian hockey survived after that season, but officials stopped paying due attention to this sports discipline. The first wave of Soviet victories (1954-56) was won by players who came just from bandy.
