Which net is better than nylon or Finnish fishing line. Casting network - first experience

Casting nets, caps, parachutes, basting, capes many names, but the essence is the same

Yes, it's not easy to find more gambling tackle than a casting network. As soon as you take it in your hands, you immediately imagine the wild nature, where everything depends only on you!

What is all this for? Moreover, your advantage is stealth, surprise and precision of the cast.

Casting nets are intended mainly for catching accumulations of fish (by the way, they are also excellent at raking out crayfish). The easiest and most effective way to find a congestion of fish is to feed a place, or even better a few. Everyone will be full, both you and the fish! How to catch, it is clear - to feed and abandon! Fast and beautiful!

American orSpanish type?

V American type the pocket is created by fishing lines. After getting out of the water, the lines and the tackle are leveled, the entire catch is quickly shaken out along with the garbage, etc.
V Spanish type the pockets are already made initially (constructively) and after pulling the tackle ashore, you need to take out the fish and garbage by hand - this is not convenient, and very annoying!

In short - definitely, American women!

Now about the material - polyamide thread (ordinary nylon thread - like on ravings) or monofilament (ordinary fishing line, as on all fishing rods). What to choose?

  • Polyamide thread is stronger, more durable and a net made of it is more maintainable.
  • The fishing net will be easier to work with (does not get wet), and a little more catchy - thinner, less windage, so it sinks faster. Briefly and, I think, understandable.

Let's not talk about submerged anchors. There is only diving. But there is no need to be particularly afraid of stones and snags.
When hooking, you need to reach with your hand (you can use a hook, a branch) to the small upper white sleeve and pull on it - the fishing lines will stretch out, there will be no pocket and the tackle will be free.

You will, of course, lose your catch, but the tackle is intact. If this does not help, it means that the tackle is caught by a fishing line, it doesn’t matter either. Do not jerk or tear, but pull the rope and wait for the knot of the stretched line to slowly but surely loosen (it is so conceived) and the tackle is free. At the same time, you can walk to the left - to the right, holding the cord at a stretch. Then on the shore, turn the tackle with the slings up, find the place of the untied line and tie it again.

Small Ring Casting Network - New for 2016 Season

A looped net with a ring greatly simplifies the casting technique, while the tackle falls into the water in a correct circle. You just need to set the initial rotation when casting. To do this, you need to raise the net above the ground with an arm extended upward and to the side at 45 degrees, stand to the water with a turning angle of at least 270 degrees and, while turning, throw the tackle into the water.
A fisherman (woman, child) with a height of 1 m 45 cm will be able to cast tackle with a radius of up to 1.5 m.
Tackle with a radius of 1.8 m can be cast by a fisherman who is more than 1 m 70 cm tall.

Casting net with a large ring - the top of the perfection of the box tackle

In order to freely fish with casting tackle with a radius of 2m or more, a height of more than 1m 80cm is required.
A large ring works on a completely different principle than a small one and allows you to cast a casting net with a radius of 2.7 m, even while sitting in rubber boat, which gives the fisherman a completely new field of activity. The benefits are undeniable. The growth of the fisherman here no longer matters, and casting is as easy as shelling pears!

Sitting, standing, lying and from the knee!
Everything written is an easy introduction to the gambling world of casting net fishing. Ask questions and we will try to answer everything.

Capron (polyamide fiber) was first obtained in Germany in 1938. During the war, German nylon fabrics were partially replaced by expensive parachute silk. By the 50s of the last century, the production of nylon threads was established in the USSR. And in the 60s, domestic factories for the production of linen (Delhi) for fishing nets completely switched to nylon thread.

There has been a revolution in industrial and recreational fishing. The ever-rotting, fragile silk fiber or cotton thread has been replaced by modern, durable and extra strong nylon fiber. A nylon thread with a diameter of 0.1 mm can withstand more than 500 g of weight. With the advent of nylon nets and seines, commercial catches of sea and freshwater fish have sharply increased.

Fishermen, fans of net fishing, with special permits or licenses, were able to catch trophy specimens of strong and fast fish, such as carp, which in the old days often tore any nets. or the seine still does not lose its position in recreational fishing today. Its strong threads, in the case of a hook, allow to pull out heavy snags and stones from the bottom silt. Powerful and durable nylon netting is the main material for the installation of large industrial seines and trawls.

A simple single-wall net made of modern (including imported) nylon becomes softer with every fishing trip. If this net has not been dyed at the factory, it will gradually dye itself in water. It is quick and easy to paint it in any color in the usual aniline dye. Nylon fishing net reliably embraces any, even cautious large fish, grabbing it by the gill covers and fins. Especially good are the Japanese company Momoi Fishing, which are widely used for planting nets under the Chameleon brand.

Double-walled and three-walled nylon nets have a main canvas of a thin thread with a small mesh, say, 30 mm for large roach. In addition, this network is retrofitted with two or one ryazhs. The slatted fabric is also planted on the upper and lower rebounds. The ridge is made from a thicker nylon thread with a mesh of 150-250 mm. Such a design of a nylon net allows you to embrace measured roach by the gills and at the same time catch large predatory fish any size, which, with the help of ryazh, fall into a special bag from the main canvas.

The nylon net, due to the high strength of the threads, allows you to speed up the removal of fish. When catching fish, it is possible not to show the increased accuracy, which is required to free the nets from a thin monofilament from the catch.

Nylon networks durable with proper care. The field of each setting and excavation of the net must be dried and cleaned of mud and grass. It is better to store the collected nets under a canopy, in a suspended state. They should be protected from direct sunlight. In such conditions, nylon networks recoup the costs of their acquisition many times over. You can buy high-quality nylon nets at affordable prices in our online store.

The nylon net is suitable for catching any fish. In conditions of increased transparency of water, nylon nets are more noticeable to fish than nets made of thin line. Therefore, they are used for night setting. Nets made of nylon are indispensable during river floods, in muddy water, while driving in the water of various debris, as well as during the flowering of water in lakes and reservoirs. With a large development of shell rock at the bottom of the reservoir, a nylon net is much more reliable than a fishing line. It is much more difficult for sharp shell fragments to cut a nylon thread, which consists of many hundreds of the finest fibers, than a thin monofilament line.

Such nets are especially popular for licensed fishing of large northern fish in the lower reaches of the great Siberian rivers, in Yakutia, in Chukotka and throughout the Far East. Some "fat content" of nylon threads helps to reduce adhesion (adhesion of frozen water) in winter time- this is a very important advantage for winter fishing throughout the North of the Russian Federation. Nylon nets are repaired annually (they have excellent maintainability, unlike nets made of fishing line) and serve fishermen for more than a dozen years. It is a proven, durable and reliable fishing gear.

Fishing with nets usually refers to professional or poaching fishing. Casting networks are a kind of exception to general rule, in some way referring to sports active fishing. Such nets are not installed permanently and do not move with the help of a boat, but fishing with their help is carried out manually. Fishing with such a technical device is designed for an active search for fish and for a high physical activity fisherman, and therefore it will always be interesting.

Casting fishing nets

Fishing with a casting net, also called a parachute, cape, etc., is one of the traditional fishing methods typical for Asian and South American countries. In our area, it is not very common, although many, looking at the high catchability of the tackle and its apparent simplicity, would like to learn how to work with it. Learning how to properly use such a network is a rather painstaking and time-consuming process, but anyone can master this art if they wish.

The essence of fishing is as follows:

  • the net is wound in a special way around the hand and thrown into the chosen place;
  • there it opens up, covering a certain area of water;
  • its enclosed part sinks to the bottom, forming a dome;
  • a few seconds after the cast, by pulling the rope tied to the base, the angler pulls the loop;
  • the fish under the net ends up in a kind of bag or pocket, and the net is lifted to the surface.

There are two main types of casting nets, differing in their design and technique of use - American and Spanish.

American and Spanish are the two main types of casting nets

American type casting network

The American casting net with a ring is a round net, along the outer edge of which a nylon cord with lead weights is threaded. There is a hole in the center of the circle with an attached ring.

The outer circumference of the net and the center ring are connected by slings. At the top, the slings are passed through the hole and attached to the ring. The ring is connected by means of a swivel to the traction cord, which is designed for casting and pulling the tackle.

When pulling the net out of the water, the traction rope with the help of slings pulls the cord equipped with weights to the central part, and the net is tightened and creates a compact bag without an outlet for the fish trapped inside.

There are two types of American nets - with a large and a small ring.

Big Ring Casting Net Fishing

An American-style casting network with a large ring is also called a frisbee. It is usually equipped with three rows of rings. The casting net with a large double ring is also often used.

The American big ring casting net is the easiest to cast and pull. During the flight, it is guaranteed to unfold without entangling the lines.

The easiest American casting net to cast and pull

Small Ring Casting Network

Casting net with a small ring resembles a Spanish woman. When pulled, a small ring tightens the net and presses it against the rope. This cape can be used in harsher conditions than frisbee. It works well even in strong gusts of wind when other networks fail.

The choice of the possible diameter of the American casting net with a small ring is directly related to the growth of the angler:

  • if the growth of the fisherman is up to 145 cm, then he will be able to use a net, the diameter of which does not exceed three meters;
  • with a height of 170 cm, you can choose a network with a diameter of up to three and a half meters;
  • height exceeding 180 cm allows you to work with any nets, including four-meter ones.

Spanish type casting network

The main differences in the design of the Spanish casting network from its American counterpart are as follows:

  • lack of slings;
  • fastening the traction cord directly to the central part of the network;
  • location of weights at some distance from the edge of the network.

These differences affect the net behavior as a result of the cast. When pulling the casting net without a ring, the sinkers are gathered towards the center under the influence of their weight and the tension of the rope. This covers the exit for fish, which ends up in the pockets formed around the perimeter.

Casting net of the Spanish type is distinguished by the absence of slings

Self-made casting network

Naturally, you can buy a chain in a store, but this solution has certain disadvantages:

  • the cost of buying this tackle is quite high;
  • standard execution of the networks offered for sale.

Taking into account all the personal preferences of the angler in the choice of tackle and to some extent reduce costs will make it possible to make a casting net with your own hands.

Let's consider how to make a casting network on our own, and for example, let's take an American woman, as it is easier to manufacture. We need the following materials:

  1. A networked fabric made of monofilament, and you can either buy it at a retail outlet or tie it yourself. The width of the web should be equal to the radius of the net, and the length is determined as the diameter multiplied by the value of Pi (3.14). The size of the cell is selected based on the size of the planned prey: for catching fry - a small cell, and for catching big fish- larger.
  2. 4mm braided cord used for cargo. Its length is equal to the circumference of the net, that is, the calculated length of the net web.
  3. A braided cord, about 7 mm thick, is used as a traction cord.
  4. Lead weights must be cylindrical elongated with a hole inside. Their weight, depending on the size of the net, should be in the range of 20-30 g. A large number of sinkers will be needed - from 200 to 300 pieces. You can buy them or pour them out of lead yourself.
  5. Monofilament fishing line, 1 mm in diameter, which will be used for making veins (lines).
  6. Center ring, for which you can take a plastic cylinder.
  7. Thin line for connecting the wedges of the mesh and attaching the cargo cord to it.
  8. Swivel for attaching a waste cord
  9. Epoxy adhesive for securing knots.

Self-made casting network

Process self-made the casting network contains the following actions:

  1. Cut the netting into wedges at an angle of 45ᵒ and connect them together with a fishing line in a circle.
  2. It is often enough to put weights on the cord, tie the ends of the cord, and also thread a weight on the knot. Many people recommend flattening the weights with a hammer to increase their bond strength.
  3. Attach the cord with weights with a fishing line to the net along the outer circumference.
  4. Attach the center ring to the hole in the center. If a cartridge is used, it is convenient to screw its two parts over the network, additionally gluing the junction with epoxy.
  5. Tie the prepared line for veins every 40 cm to the cord with weights, and in the center pass it through the ring and connect it to the pull cord. The connection can be made with a swivel to avoid twisting. It is allowed to simply tie the slings to the cord with a knot and glue it for reliability.
  6. On the second side of the traction cord, a loop is made for attaching it to the arm or belt when casting.

Which casting network to choose

Many people ask which casting network is the best. But there is no definite answer to this question. It all depends on the purpose of its use and on the fishing conditions. If you plan to use a network to provide yourself with live bait, the cell size should not exceed one centimeter. Fishing with a casting net at sea involves the use of an American woman with a small ring, since frisbee will not be effective in strong gusts of wind.

To determine which casting network to choose: American or Spanish, consider their features.

The first has the following advantages:

  • ease of throwing;
  • high catchability;
  • increased reliability and durability;
  • comparative ease of self-production.

The main advantage of the Spanish flu is the ability to use it in reservoirs with difficult terrain and a littered bottom, since it is not very prone to snagging.

Which casting network to choose: American or Spanish, there is no single answer

The choice of the diameter of casting nets with a large ring does not depend on the height of the angler, but on the purpose of using the tackle. But for other types of casting net, its diameter significantly affects the difficulty of casting.

For beginners, of course, it is easier to cast a smaller net, but keep in mind that retraining to use large nets is more difficult than vice versa. Therefore, when choosing the size of the tackle, it is better to initially buy exactly the option that the angler is going to use in the future. Moreover, if a fisherman knows how to work with a four-meter net, it is quite easy for him to master the art of casting smaller specimens.

How to cast the casting net correctly

Casting the casting net correctly is the most important and difficult part of its application. Before throwing a fishing tool into the water, it makes sense to practice and learn all the subtleties on the shore. Naturally, for this you need to choose a convenient site in the field or in the meadow, having previously cleared it of interfering shrubs, tall grass and debris. Otherwise, the network will break and there will be nothing to catch. It should be remembered that the technique of casting different types of casting nets differs significantly.

Casting net casting technique with a ring

Let's first look at how to cast a casting net with a ring. At the same time, it is necessary to take into account certain differences in casting the net with different rings.

Casting a casting net with a large ring is the simplest and is as follows:

  1. We carefully spread the net on the ground.
  2. We release the middle ring, as a result, the large one descends to the load rope, and the small one presses the net.
  3. The loop made at the end of the cord is fastened to the belt or worn on the wrist.
  4. We unwind the traction cord.
  5. We throw the tackle into the chosen place as we launch a flying saucer.

When launching such a net, you do not need to rotate the body when throwing or have many skills.

The most important and difficult thing is the implementation of the correct casting of the casting net

When casting casting nets with a small ring, the net is stretched, as a result of which the ring presses the bag to the rope. Such a throw is somewhat more difficult and is somewhat similar to throwing a Spanish flu.

Spanish Casting Net Casting Technique

Now let's look at how to throw a Spanish-style casting net. Preparation for casting it consists in the following steps:

  1. The traction rope twisted into rings is taken in the left hand, and the loop at its end is put on the hand or, more securely, is fixed on the belt.
  2. With the left hand, the net is taken by the center and gently shaken to prevent the formation of loops.
  3. The upper part of the net, about a third of the radius, is collected in several loops in the left hand.
  4. The rope, equipped with weights, is taken in two hands, which we widely spread in order to stretch the free part of the tackle as much as possible. Sometimes professionals, in order to stretch the net even better, take one weight with their teeth.

At the moment of throwing, the body must be turned 180ᵒ and with a wide swing, straightening the body, perform the throw. In this case, it is necessary to ensure that the tackle flew into the water very gently and unfolded in a circle just before it touches the water. Sometimes it is recommended to do a few swinging movements before throwing. Casting a large casting net is naturally more difficult, but having trained on it, a smaller net will be much easier to cope with.

Casting net fishing technique

Fishing with a casting net consists not only in casting, but, naturally, in retrieving it from the water. At the moment the sinkers touch the bottom, you must immediately select the net with a sharp jerk. This provides an almost instant connection of the weights, and, consequently, the overlap of the exit for the fish, and also reduces the likelihood of snagging of the tackle. After pulling, it is necessary to immediately clean the tackle of mud and aquatic vegetation. Otherwise, next time it may be thrown unsuccessfully and only scare away the fish.

Casting net is used to catch peaceful and predatory fish

Casting net fishing is quite versatile and is used for catching both peaceful and predatory fish. Very often this method is used in fishing for live bait. It makes no sense to use casting nets in very deep places and if the bottom is covered with snags, debris or abundant vegetation. All this will prevent you from fully capturing the fish and will only lead to numerous hooks.

Let's consider in more detail how to fish with a casting net from a boat and from the shore.

Fishing from a boat

Fishing with a casting net from a boat will show much better results than fishing from the shore - it will allow you to cast the net into places inaccessible for coastal fishing, and choosing the most promising ones. It is very convenient to catch pike in this way, bypassing shallow channels on a boat, surrounded on all sides by thickets of aquatic vegetation. It is also good to catch with a cape and feeding, gathered in flocks, perch.

When fishing from a boat, the most convenient fishing with an American-type casting net with a ring, it makes it possible to cast the tackle even while sitting. And already to cast the Spanish flu, the angler will have to get up.

Fishing from the shore

When fishing from the shore, it is worth choosing a flat, clean area for throws or, before throwing in the tackle, clear it of bushes and weeds. Such a net cannot be used when fishing from a high bank, bridge or cliff, as the sinkers will begin to join together even before the tackle enters the water. It is also inconvenient and ineffective to fish with a casting net on the stream.

When used from the shore, the casting net will not be able to provide a good catch of large fish, because it is not often possible to cast it quite far - in places where large specimens are kept. But it allows you to easily catch any amount of small fish that can be used as live bait. Also, good results are shown by fishing with a net for tench, which usually stands near the water's edge in shallow places with a weak current and a muddy bottom.

To improve the efficiency of parachute fishing from the shore, it makes sense to use bait. Moreover, it is worth feeding several suitable places at once, and throwing the net on them one by one, adding periodically fresh complementary foods. In this case, it is necessary to achieve a sufficiently high casting accuracy in order to cover the lured area with a net. For convenience, it can be marked with a buoy. More accurate casting is provided by fishing with a casting net with a large ring, since it is the easiest to cast.

For detailed characteristics of these towers, see separate reviews:
Overview of the characteristics of HAMELEON network canvases (CHAMELEON) from mono and multimonofilament yarn
Overview of the characteristics of HAMELEON net cloths made of nylon (nylon) thread

Chameleon Network STANDART

These are classic single-walled gill fishing nets based on the original MOMOI FISHING JAPAN netting with the Chameleon effect.

In the standard version, the following are used:

  • fishing set-cloths made of monofilament yarns with a diameter of 0.15; 0.17; 0.20; 0.25 mm;
  • fishing line (twisted) set-cloth from multi-monofilament thread 0.12 mm * 3; 0.17mm * 3;
  • nylon mesh fabric made of nylon yarn 110den / 2 and 210 den / 2.

Network sizes:

  • height 1.2 m, or 1.8 m;
  • length 30 m.

Equipment for Chameleon STANDART networks:

  • top pick - floating cord 6 g / m;
  • lower selection - weighting cord 14 g / m;

Features of the equipment of Chameleon STANDART nets:

  • machine landing with the use of floating and cargo cords, in which each cell is sewn to the net picks, which practically excludes the cords falling behind the mesh of the net;
  • landing in the form of a trapezoid of 27/30 m, due to which they adapt well to the unevenness of the bottom;
  • ease and convenience in setting and using;
  • increased catchability due to chameleon coloring, resistance to UV radiation and seawater;
  • strength and wear resistance.

Chameleon SPRUT Network

These are classic three-walled networks (putanks)... They consist of a thin netting (part) and two ryazovy cloths located on the sides. big size mesh (from 200 to 300 mm) and a thick nylon thread 0.6 mm thick. All three canvases are planted together on the same rebounds. At the same time, the height of the piece cloth is 1.5-2 times greater than the height of the cage cloth.

These nets are caught simultaneously and according to the principle of gill single-walled at the expense of the main (part) of the canvas and work as three-walled (putan), when large fish pull out a piece of cloth, through large cells of the ryazh, and get entangled in the resulting bag. Three-walled nets are good where, along with a large number of small fish, there are larger species, especially predatory fish. For example, when fishing for roach with a net mesh of 30 mm, they also catch large perch and pike.

Used in Chameleon SPRUT nets:

  • main set-cloth monofilament thread 0.17 mm, 0.20 mm;
  • or nylon multifilament (nylon) thread 110 den / 2, 210den / 2;
  • ryazh - nylon multifilament fabric 210 den / 9; mesh 300 mm.

Dimensions and equipment of SPRUT Chameleon nets:

  • height 1.8 m;
  • length 30 m.

The equipment is the same as for the Chameleon STANDART networks:

  • top pick - floating cord 9 g / m;
  • lower selection - weighting cord 22 g / m.

Features of the SPRUT Chameleon snap:

  • manual landing (flint landing method) using floating and cargo cords;
  • coloring of the threads of the Chameleon netting, which reduces the visibility of the net in the water;
  • resistance of the network to UV radiation and seawater;
  • height of the working bed (part) - 2.6–3.0 m for networks with a height of 1.8 m.

Fishing nets Chameleon PROFI

PROFI networks produced exclusively in MOMOI FISHING JAPAN's own factories for industrial fishing and are an excellent professional fishing gear. A feature of this type of networks is a competitive price with impeccable quality.

Applicable synthetic rubber floats:

The floats have high strength and low hygroscopicity, and are resistant to seawater and ultraviolet radiation. They can be used at great depths up to 250 meters.

Twisted Danline power cord for rebounds:

Rigging Top pick Bottom pick
Cord Diameter Float Distance between floats Cord Diameter
№ 1 Danline 4 mm Y-3 1.5 m Danline 4 mm
№ 2 Danline 5 mm Y-8 1.5 m Danline 5 mm
№ 3 Danline 5 mm Y-8 1.4 m Danline 5 mm
№ 4 Danline 4 * 2mm N-22 1.5 m Danline 5 mm
№ 5 Danline 4 * 5mm N-22 1.5 m Danline 6 mm

Are used original momoi fishing set with the main diameter of the monofilament thread (line) 0.50 mm. Less often, for nets with a small mesh, fishing line of smaller diameters (0.20, 0.25 and 0.30 mm), or twisted line of different diameters (from 0.12 * 3 mm and above) is used.

If an N-22 float is used in the equipment, then two DANLINE cords with a diameter of 4 mm (type of equipment No. 4) or 4.5 mm (type of equipment No. 5) are passed through it. Thanks to the use of Danline double cords, the rebars have high strength and perfect balance, as well as their twisting is excluded. Reusable selection is also an added plus.

PROFI networks are equipped with a manual method (flint landing method)

Used as the top rebound Danline cord with floats... Depending on the fishing conditions and the height of the netting, the diameter of the cord, the type of floats, the size of the floats and the distance between the floats are determined.

A Danline cord of neutral buoyancy is also used as the bottom line, so before setting the net must be unloaded based on the fishing conditions.

The net is not loaded in production due to the variety of fishing conditions requiring different parameters of net loading, as well as in order to minimize transport costs when delivering to distant regions of Russia.

The height of PROFI networks is from 3 to 6 m, the length is from 25 to 60 m.

They are the Russian analogue of the Japanese Chameleon PROFI networks. They are also made from MOMOI FISHING netting and are intended for commercial fishing. Produced by the Petrokanat company using Japanese technology.

The material of the set-cloth is a monofilament thread of increased strength with a diameter of 0.30 mm, 0.40 mm and 0.50 mm.

Thanks to the use of a braided Danline cord, twisting of the selection is excluded. The nets are equipped with PVC floats, which allows them to be used at a depth of up to 100 m.

More recently (before perestroika) there was a ban on fishing with nets. Everyone caught with them in the reservoir was considered a criminal, and his actions were equated with poaching. Now anyone can buy chains in specialized stores. Then get a license and start fishing in almost any body of water. This article will explain what fishing casting nets are. And also how you can use them.

Types of casting networks

The most common are American and Spanish. There are others, but these are in greatest demand among fishermen. American casting networks are a dome. Its bottom is planted with a shipped cord. From him with inside along the perimeter there are ropes tied up from the bottom (slings). At the top of the dome, they are connected in one annular hole. When the sling is pulled, the lower edge of the net is wrapped inward and a kind of bag is formed around the circumference.

Spanish casting nets are, in fact, the same bags, but built into the structure immediately and do not require pulling inside the edges, as is done in American ones. These bags are called pockets, and during manufacturing they are attached along the entire perimeter of the canvas with special threads.

What are the best casting networks?

The American ones are more convenient to throw into the water, while the Spanish ones hardly catch on the bottom, which has a difficult relief. There are also African and other types, which are the same two species, but slightly modified for different fishing conditions. It's impossible to say with certainty which network is better. All have their pros and cons - the choice is up to the fisherman.

How to cast casting nets?

There are several dozen ways. Small nets in diameter allow you to simply throw them into the water, holding them by the upper edge. But tackles from 1.5 m and more should be thrown according to the rules, specially folded them before that.

Some fishermen mark the nets with a marker in the places where they are held and intercepted. Thus, a perfect assembly is obtained. And during training, the marks show which area is confused or not turned around.

The most important point: if the network is poorly promoted, then it will go wrong. You need to swing it and run it along a gentle trajectory. The swing is done from behind, while the body is rotated 180 degrees.

No need to be lazy to clean the nets after casting. Because along with the catch, they bring a lot of grass. Also, be sure to unwind the bottom cord when it overlaps. In order for fishing with a casting net to be successful, it is better to spend 5-10 minutes preparing the gear for casting, than to be upset later from the fact that they did not turn around as it should. This will ruin the mood and scare the entire potential catch.

Fun fact: In Japan, netting is considered an art. The country even regularly hosts competitions. The winner is the person who has shown the best casting net casting technique. These competitions have already become popular and are held 2-3 times a year. This is not surprising, because fishing is one of the main types of income for the inhabitants of the country.
