The Waypark ski slope invites all winter lovers. At your service is a professional instructor service, which is accredited by the international association ISIA (International Ski Instructor Association), specialized children's instructors who teach children from 3 years old, as well as a children's sports school. We work from Tuesday to Sunday from 10-00 to 22-00 and on Monday from 14-00 to 22-00.

Skiing and snowboarding was recently considered an elite sport for the rich - after all, not everyone could afford expensive equipment or travel abroad to prestigious resorts. Sports complex "Kurkino" - one of the sites of the "Russian ski school Stolitsa" - schools Olympic reserve, established by a decree of the Moscow Government. Hence the peculiarity of "Kurkino": they mainly study here winter sports children, and in comparison with the hours reserved for their training, very little time is allotted for free skiing (on weekdays only 1.5 hours in the evening).

The complex is included in the territory of a natural park, located on a natural slope in the valley of the Skhodnya River in the Moscow region of Kurkino (North-Western Administrative District). The nearest GLK is the ski slope of the WayPark shopping and entertainment center in Putilkovo, just 5 km away.

Moscow ski school "Stolitsa" was founded in 2003, and now works in several directions: skiing, snowboarding, freestyle, ski jumping (skiing), ski nordic combination, "sports of the deaf".

In addition to the SK "Kurkino" under the management of the "Russian ski school Stolitsa" there are ski centers:

  • Novo-Peredelkino (the largest; alpine skiing, snowboarding, freestyle);
  • Sevastopolskiy Prospekt (universal slopes, Bitsevskiy Park area);
  • "Northern Butovo" (mainly for teaching children, only 1 track);
  • "Vorobyovy Gory" (under reconstruction, previously it was a training slope and a venue for Russian and international competitions).

Skiing schedule

IN ski season at Kurkino, as a rule, it opens at the end of November and lasts until mid-March.

Unlike most GLK areas, access to its tracks is limited:

  • Weekdays - only from 20:30 to 22:00;
  • Saturday is the most accessible day for free skiing, from 11:00 to 22:00;
  • Sunday - from 18:00 to 22:00.

The rest (main) time on the slopes are classes of the ski school.

In the SC "Kurkino" for skiers there are two tracks of medium difficulty, plus there is a training slope. The length of the ski slope is 200 meters. The maximum height difference is 40 meters.

How to get there

Ski base "Kurkino" is located within the city - just 5 km from the Moscow Ring Road and 6 km from Shopping center MEGA- in the Moscow region of Kurkino, next to Khimki. It will be possible to get to it from the city center even by ordinary public transport, but with transfers.

The closest stop to the GLK is "Landyshevaya street"- located at the crossroads of Kurkinskoye Highway and Landysheva, about 600 meters walk from it. Bus number 343 (from the metro station "Rechnoy Vokzal" through Khimki), bus number 27 (its route is short - from the Khimki station) and route taxi number 981 (from the metro station "Planernaya", and the other terminus is Novogorsk) follow to the stop.

From the center of the capital, it takes about 1.5 hours to get there: first Metro along the Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya branch to the Planernaya station, and then on the already mentioned minibus No. 981, drive 11 stops.

In Moscow, it is always convenient and profitable to use taxi applications, which immediately show the price and time of car delivery. To save money, you can do the following: take the metro to the station closest to the GLK, and order a taxi from it - this will get you quickly and cheaply.

There is free parking for personal vehicles - this is important point for family tourists coming to train on the slopes.
