Monkey D. Luffy- pirate and the main character anime and manga One Piece. As the founder and captain of the Straw Hat Pirates, Luffy is the first member of the team as well as one of the three strongest fighters. He is internationally renowned for causing trouble to the Shichibukai and Marines by committing crimes and acts that pose a huge threat to the World Government.
He became known for his recklessness and even some degree of insanity, after the Incident at Enies Lobby, the invasion of Impel Down and participation in the Battle of Marineford. He is famous for being the only pirate who not only managed to get into all three of the most important government buildings, but also managed to get out of them alive. This, plus the fact that he hit Tenryubito knowing everyone possible consequences, and his legacy, ensured Luffy's nickname as "potentially dangerous."
Prior to arriving in the Sabaody Archipelago, Luffy had a bounty of 300,000,000 and was one of the eleven rookie pirates ("The Eleven Supernovas") with over 100,000,000 bounties on the bounties that reached the Red Line. After the timeskip, Luffy's head bounty was now 400,000,000 as stated by "Fake Luffy" and confirmed by Pacifista. Luffy is highly recognizable due to his unusual straw hat(which gave him the nickname "Luffy's Straw Hat") which was given to him as a child by the famous pirate "Red Hair" Shanks, who in turn received it from Gol D. Roger. His clothing style is usually made up of short blue shorts, a red waistcoat and sandals. Luffy has a scar under his left eye with two stitches (he got it in the first chapter, stabbing himself with a knife to prove his courage to Shanks) and short black hair. Although he appears very thin under his shirt, his musculature is highly developed, as shown in many battles. After the timeskip
After two years, little has changed, Luffy wears an open cardigan with long sleeves and four buttons, showing an X-shaped scar covering most of his chest from Admiral Akainu and a yellow belt tied around his waist, much the same as Gol's. D. Roger. He has grown a little and, through training, has become more muscular. This can be seen from the fact that his neck has become thicker and deltoid and pectoral muscles became more pronounced.
Roronoa Zoro
Roronoa Zoro- pirate, former bounty hunter, and one of the main protagonists One piece.
He was the first to join the Straw Hat Pirates and is currently the most dangerous member of the crew after Luffy. Appearance
Zoro is a young male of medium height, well-muscled and slightly tanned skin. Zoro's body is completely covered in scars from numerous battles. Like most of the men on the team, Zoro wears the same outfit throughout most of the story, which consists of black pants tucked into black boots, a white shirt with three buttons on the collar, and a green haramaki. After the timeskip
After a two-year timeskip, Zoro reappears with a new scar on his left eye, which is supposedly now blind as it is always covered. The swordsman began to look more muscular, his neck became much thicker and he himself became slightly taller, the same height as Robin. He now wears an open dark green robe tied around his waist with a red sash that holds his swords, and the same black bandana around his left shoulder. He no longer wears a shirt, and his green haramaki is visible from under his robe.
Us
Us is a pirate and navigator for the Straw Hat Pirates. She officially became the third crew member and second to join the crew after Luffy defeated Arlong. During the Baratie Arc, she temporarily leaves the team, but returns at the end of the Arlong Arc after her past and true intentions are revealed. Her current reward is 16,000,000.
Appearance
We are young slim girl medium height with red hair and light brown eyes. Many people find her to be very attractive or even beautiful. On her left shoulder is a blue (black in the manga) tattoo of a stylized turntable and a mandarin (a reference to Bellmere and Genzo), which was given to her instead of the mark indicating her belonging to the Arlong Pirates.
During the journey, her body develops very quickly (although, most likely, this is due to a change in the style of painting). Her clothing style, like her hair, changes very often. Many of her T-shirts have four-letter lettering such as "MODE", "GOLD" or "EVIL", similar to the "MACE" lettering on a Bell-mère shirt. On her left wrist, she wears the Log Pos, which is her navigator, and a gold bracelet given to her by Nojiko. After the Arlong Arc, Nami often changed clothes during each arc and usually had two rings on the sides of pants or skirts as their trademark. Her shoes are her signature orange gladiator sandals on high heels... She wears different heel shapes in each arch and they don't seem to affect her walking or running.

Over the past two years, Nami's hair has grown very long and has reached the lower back. Oda states that Usopp's animal is an armadillo, its color is yellow, and its smell is gunpowder.
Sanji
Sanji- Chef on the Straw Hat Pirates. For this everyone loves him. He is the fifth member of the team, the fourth to join Luffy.
History
Sanji was born in the North Blue and is the first on the team who is not from East Blue. We meet him for the first time at the Baratie Floating Restaurant. Before Sanji got to the Baratie restaurant, he constantly threw leftover food off the plates. But one incident made him seriously change his mind. The ship on which Sanji served as a cook was attacked by pirates, and then suddenly a storm hit both ships. Zeff (the captain of the pirate ship) was able to save Sanji from death and dragged the boy to dry land - an island towering over the sea. There was no vegetation on the island and, accordingly, no animals - just a bare stone. It was possible to go down from the island to get fish, but it is unlikely to go back up. They have some food left. Zeff took most of it for himself, leaving Sanji with a small bag, explaining that he was a child and needed less food. Sanji knew how to manage his food - if properly distributed, it would be enough for 2 weeks. But the ships did not approach the island. After a few weeks, the hunger became unbearable, and a desperate Sanji decided to kill Zeff and take his food. To his surprise, on the other side of the island, an untouched sack was waiting for him, and Zeff was missing one leg. There was gold in the sack. He pays particular attention to the women of Luffy's team - Nami, Vivi, and Nico Robin. He also cannot harm girls, as was shown in the Enies Lobby arc during his fight with Kalifa. Sanji is a heavy smoker. He is rarely seen on screen without a cigarette in his mouth. Quite often, while the others are fighting with the enemies, Sanji disappears somewhere to sabotage the enemy. This was the case, for example, on Little Garden Island, in Skypiea, Enies Lobby.
Tony Tony Chopper
Tony Tony Chopper- Doctor of the Straw Hat Pirates. Reindeer that ate the Hito Hito no Mi Devil Fruit. Born on the Isle of Drum, he is thus the only member of the Straw Hat crew to be born on the Grand Line. He is the sixth member of the crew and the fifth to join. Chopper is the smallest and youngest member of the Straw Hat Pirates, and also the northern one.
History
As a child, due to the fact that he was not like the others, he was not accepted into the herd of deer. People did not accept him either, since he looked like Bigfoot. Only the charlatan doctor Khiryulyuk took pity on him, having cured him, he gave him a name and took him as a "student".
Later, Khiryulyuk, knowing that he would soon die, decided to protect himself from Chopper and kicked him out of his house. Chopper, learning that Khiryulyuk is dying, decides to find a medicine that could cure him. Soon he finds such a medicine in the book - a special mushroom with a skull and bones in the corner (and Khiryulyuk once suggested to him that the skull and bones are a “sign of conviction.” And that under this sign the impossible can be done). Having overcome enormous difficulties, having received serious wounds, he still gets this mushroom and brings it to the doctor.
The doctor was very moved by what Chopper did for him, although he knew that the mushroom was deadly, he still ate it. Hiryulyuk, idolized pirates and their flag and infected Chopper with his love for them, so when he saw a mushroom and a familiar symbol in the book - a skull with bones - he decided that this was exactly what he needed. After Luffy and his crew arrived at Drum Island. Chopper was initially afraid of them (Luffy and Sanji) as they tried to catch him and cook venison. Nico robin

Nico Robin is a tall, slender, outwardly very attractive woman. Hair is black just below the shoulders. Robin is very similar to her mother, with the exception of her hair color and dress style. Unlike Nami, who prefers sandals, Robin wears shoes more often. Brown sunglasses are a new permanent accessory.
She is 188 cm tall, making her the third tallest member of the Straw Hats after Brook and Frankie. After the timeskip, in SBS Volume 69, Oda says that Robin's dimensions are 100-60-90 (New World).
Frankie
Frankie- the ship's carpenter of the Straw Hat Pirates. He is a 36-year-old cyborg from Water 7, home to South Blue. Appeared in history as the leader of Clan Franky, a group of shipbreakers. His real name- Cutty Flam (カティ・フラム Kati Furamu ? , eng. Cutty Flam), but he abandoned it and lives under a pseudonym in order to hide his identity at the request of Iceberg. With his own hand-made modifications and life as a bounty hunter and street bandit, Franky looks like a bully over two meters tall, and is the second tallest member of the team. Brooke

Luffy loves to eat very much, his favorite food is meat. Whenever he meets someone unusual, he invites him to his team. Many manga and anime characters have noted that Luffy is very similar in personality to Gol D. Roger. Despite all his eccentricities, he is able to turn even his enemies into his allies: because of his ability to easily make companions for himself, he was called the most dangerous person in all seas. Luffy is very devoted to his friends, and for the sake of his companions, he risked his life more than once. In the anime series, as well as in all animated films, OVA and other offshoots of the series, Luffy is voiced by the voice actor Mayumi Tanaka. In OVA Defeat the Pirate Ganzack! before the series, Luffy was voiced by Urara Takano. He is voiced in the 4Kids Entertainment dub by Bella Hewdson and in the Funimation Entertainment dub by Colin Klinkenbird. In the Russian dub, Luffy is voiced by Elena Shulman, and after episode 62 of the anime series - by Ekaterina Kabashova.
Feedback and perception
Luffy has been the # 1 hit manga character list for Japan's Weekly Shonen Jump three times. Mike McFarland and Christopher Sabat, who voiced the Funimation Entertainment dub, noted that Luffy is more charismatic than Goku, the protagonist of Dragon Ball. Luffy was nominated for Best Male Character at the 2008 Japanese Animation Awards, but lost to Alucard from the Hellsing manga. IGN ranked him 22nd on the list of Best Anime Characters.
T.H.E.M. Anime Reviews described Luffy as a "cute idiot", finding him very optimistic and idealistic. In the review of the fourth full-length film Dead end adventure The Star Online notes that Luffy is "a great fighter" but "completely empty-headed" at the same time. Rika Takahashi noted in her EX.org article that Luffy's stretching abilities set him apart from the main characters in the shonen manga genre, and felt they brought "something fresh and interesting" to the series. Anime News Network compares Luffy to anime and manga protagonist Rurouni Kenshin Himura Kenshin, as both have similar personalities. Mania Entertainment called Luffy a "Great Shounen Hero".

Straw Hat Pirates(麦 わ ら 海賊 団, Mugiwara Kaizoku-dan) are the main characters in the One Piece anime and manga. The team is named after Luffy's famous hat that Shanks gave him. The only exception was Franky, who turned out to be too stubborn to join the team on his own (he had to steal his favorite swimming trunks and lure him to the ship), but after Iceberg's words, he was moved and finally decided to stay in Luffy's team. If Luffy is really interested in a person, he will try to persuade him to join by all means, despite the desire of that person. Some constantly refuse, others, convinced enough, join for their own reasons. Sometimes, if Luffy is refused, he acts as if the person is already on the team and his own opinion on this matter does not interest anyone, which usually annoys people very much.
The exceptions to this rule were Usopp, who, agitated and delighted with the offer to join the team, immediately agreed, and Nico Robin, who entered at will and was able to persuade the team to let her stay. It is also noteworthy that Brook, who accepted Luffy's invitation, soon changed his mind, explaining that he had business on Thriller Bark and that without a shadow he would die when the first sun hit him. After defeating the zombies, Brook, having received a shadow back, asked if the team would approve of his entry, and had already finally joined the Straw Hats.
Luffy doesn't think about whether whoever he wants to invite has a profession or not. He allowed Usopp to become a member of the team and proclaimed him a sniper and cannoneer, Vivi is also considered their nakama, despite the fact that she does not have a specific profession. Luffy invites a person to join the team and is usually rejected immediately (this leads to a comical situation where Luffy "refuses to reject"). Meanwhile, a situation arises that in one way or another ends in Luffy's fight with the main enemy, and the alleged newcomer plays a secondary role (for example, Luffy vs. Don Craig, while Sanji fights with Gin and Parl). The beginner usually defeats one of the main enemy's assistants or plays a key role in the victory of the Straw Hat (for example, Brook defeats Talleran and learns about the weakness of the zombies, despite being defeated by Ryuma). During the arc period, when the newcomer is introduced, his past and dreams are also told. This convinces him to join Luffy's team.
