International army games "ARMY-2016" crossed the equator. So far, everything is going as usual. The hottest battles for prizes are ahead.
Exactly a week ago, last Saturday, the International Army Games started at the Alabino training ground near Moscow, in which teams from nineteen countries take part. The games will end next Saturday, August 13th.
One of the most spectacular competitions is "Tank Biathlon", which opened the games. The PRC team entered the tank battle yesterday. So the lot fell out that the tankers from the Celestial Empire had to wait almost a week. But they immediately rushed forward like stagnant dragons. And today, the team of the army of the People's Republic of China was striving to show the best result. They perform in their own tank. It has a more powerful engine and, according to expert tankers, an even better fire control system than the one on the T-72B3, the main biathlon tank. And they expected deafening victories from the Chinese.
Alas, in yesterday's race, not the most top scores shooting. And today in the first race we managed to hit only two targets "tank" out of three. True, the targets "helicopter" and "grenade launcher" were destroyed by the first burst of machine guns. The dynamic characteristics of the Chinese tank are excellent. It overtakes the T-72B, which was demonstrated on the track. But it also plays against the crew, which is addicted to speed. Today, during the passage of the so-called snake, the Chinese tank simply blew two columns, for which it received penalty points. In general, it should be noted that the Chinese tankers have every chance to become prize-winners or even winners of the "Tank Biathlon".
They are also confidently performing in the Keys from the Sky competition, which takes place at the Ashuluk training ground. The S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems in the Celestial Empire have learned to master perfectly. Tomorrow, the decisive stage will be held - combat firing of missiles at air targets. And it will become clear who is stronger: Russians, Belarusians, Kazakhs or Chinese. While all the teams of anti-aircraft gunners go, one might say, head to head.
There are preliminary results for other competitions. Russia is in the lead in the Glubina diving competition, followed by Iran and Venezuela. In the Airborne Platoon competition, the places were distributed as follows: China, Kazakhstan, Russia, Iran, Egypt, Belarus, Venezuela.
A very tense struggle in the "Military Medical Relay" competition. The teams from Russia and China alternately become leaders. According to the results of the first stage of the medical competition, the places were located as follows: RF, China, Kazakhstan, Zimbabwe.
The team of China is in the lead in the "Rembat" repairmen competition held in Omsk. However, the teams of Kazakhstan and Russia have every chance to become champions. Cadets of the Omsk Automobile and Armored Engineering Institute also take part in the competition. And they show better results than army teams. But the cadets are out of competition.
According to representatives panel of judges, while all stages of the games pass without significant comments and claims from the participants. True, yesterday a small conflict arose at the "Marine landing" competition. Representatives of the PRC team did not agree with the results of the accrual of penalty points. The dispute went on until midnight, but no understanding was reached. All objective video information, testimony of judges will be provided today, and a decision will be made.
Iran did not agree with the disqualification of the two crews. Although in one case it was shown: safety in such complex games using firearms- above all, and for the slightest violation, the punishment should be the strictest. The judges disqualified one of the Iranian crews because the fighter violated a safety requirement at the firing line. Jumped out of the APC when the fire had not yet been stopped. In another case, the crew grossly violated the elementary rules for controlling a floating armored personnel carrier. Coming out of the water, the driver forgot to open the shutters of the engine, and it quickly overheated and boiled. In battle, this would mean stopping the machine, which immediately turned into a stationary target. So the disqualification was justified.
China and Iran did not protest, but did not agree with the results. However, what kind of competition is this if everyone agrees with everything?
This is the first time that a Zimbabwean army team has taken part in games of this magnitude. Everyone is rooting for the warriors of this country! But the team is rather weak, although it carries on its training battles to the end. It is surprising that the Zimbabwe army team dared not only to pass the Tank Biathlon tracks, but also to measure their strength with military reconnaissance officers in the taiga near Novosibirsk. As they say, the scouts of Zimbabwe got lost among the dense thickets of cedar, pine, and deciduous trees. They were looking for them for a long time and found not discouraged. They did not refuse further participation in the competition "Excellence in Military Intelligence". And they did the right thing. Who else in Africa boasts that he passed the Siberian taiga and did not give up in the fight against the best scouts of Russia, China, Armenia and Kazakhstan ?!
In "Tank Biathlon" the Zimbabwe team is not doing well either. Today the crew was unable to load first a tank cannon, then tank machine guns. As a result, the time was lost irretrievably, the track, on which the Chinese tankers spent a little more than twenty minutes, the crew from Zimbabwe passed in more than an hour. But the target "helicopter" was shot down by the first shot. By the way, the Russian tankers did not hit this target.
The fact that the rating of the Zimbabwe team is higher than that of the Armenian team does not mean that the Armenians have shown themselves weak. Not at all. The team is performing very confidently. The calculation takes into account the number of contests in which teams participate and the total number of teams entered. Zimbabwe is represented in the games "ARMY-2016" simply more actively than Armenia or India.
The International Army Games continue, and the intensity of passions in them is no less than at the Olympics in Brazil.
On July 30, in the Patriot military-patriotic park of culture and recreation near Moscow, the international army games ARMY-2016 started, which lasted until August 13. This year the games program included 23 competitions, in which 121 teams from 19 countries of Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America... The most numerous are teams from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and China.
In total, 279 pieces of equipment were involved in the games. The armed forces Russia and 158 pieces of equipment of the People's Liberation Army of China. Almost all competitions were held on the territory of Russia, and only two (“Masters of Artillery Fire” and “Sniper Frontier”) were held in Kazakhstan. The largest number of gold medals received Russian teams... At the same time, the Kazakh artillerymen won the competition "Masters of artillery fire", and the Chinese dog handlers - the competition "True friend". The ARMY Games are held under the patronage of the RF Ministry of Defense and are being held for the second time. Last year, 57 teams from 17 countries took part in fourteen army competitions.

In Russia and Kazakhstan, from July 30 to August 13, the International Army Games-2016 are being held with the participation of 121 teams from 19 countries. Nine more countries participate in observer status. The most representative delegations were represented by the national teams of Russia, Kazakhstan and China.
The Army Games is a military sports competition of professional skill in 23 disciplines and, at the same time, an international military exercise. A year earlier, they competed, the 2014 Games brought together military personnel from 11 countries. That is, the number of participants is increasing, the international authority of Russia is growing. This year, even a team of military personnel from Greece, which is part of the NATO bloc, is competing.
In comparison with 2015, several countries increased their activity at the stages: Venezuela will be represented in nine competitions, Belarus - in eight, Iran - in seven, Angola and Egypt - in five. The Kazakhstani side proposed to hold two competitions - "Masters of Artillery Fire" and "Sniper Frontier" - on its territory.
From the Baltic to the Black Sea and the Caspian, more than three thousand military personnel compete at several combined-arms, aviation and sea ranges - pilots, tankers, infantry fighting vehicles crews, snipers, air and naval paratroopers, artillerymen, engineer units, repair platoons, air defense crews, scouts, mountain units, dog handlers, military medics, crews of surface ships.
The stages of the competition make it possible to objectively compare the strengths and weaknesses of the national systems of combat training and methods of performing combat exercises.
Dynamics and geography
To approach the conditions of real combat and entertainment at the International Army Games-2016, it was decided to triple the number of shooting. So, until August 13, tank crews from 17 states will spend thousands of cumulative shells and machine-gun rounds at the Alabino training ground.
In the past two days, 2 - 3 August, it was hot in all the arenas of the Army Games. At the first stage of the Elbrus Ring 2016 competition in Kabardino-Balkaria (based on the CSKA Mountain Training and Survival Center), the team of the Russian Armed Forces took the lead.
In Sevastopol, for the first time in the format of games, a competition in diving all-around "Depth-2016" was held.
At the Ashuluk training ground in the Astrakhan region, the second stage of the Keys to the Sky competition took place, in which the combat crews of S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems (SAM) from Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus and China competed.
The warships of Russia, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan in the Caspian performed artillery fire at air and sea targets within the framework of the Sea Cup 2016 competition.
The first flights of the most spectacular part of the international competition "Aviadarts-2016" - "Aviamiks" took place at the Dubrovichi training ground in the Ryazan region. For two hours, more than 70 crews of the latest fighters, bombers, helicopters and multifunctional air complexes played air duels, launched air missiles at ground targets, practiced intercepting air targets, and also demonstrated aerobatics singly and in groups.
In Novosibirsk, the reconnaissance departments of Armenia, Zimbabwe, Kazakhstan, China and Russia in combat gear, with means of imitation overcame a complex of 22 obstacles.
In Murom, pontoon-ferry subdivisions of Russia, Serbia and China competed. In addition to the special engineering technology, army aviation, tanks, infantry fighting vehicles participated. The competition included the passage of the teams of six stages with the forcing of a water barrier and the guidance of a pontoon crossing on a river up to 300 meters wide.
The night stage of the ARMY-2016 competition "Masters of Artillery Fire" was held at the Gvardeisky training ground in the Zhambyl region of Kazakhstan.
Participants from Kazakhstan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan and Venezuela demonstrated driving with night vision devices, hit targets with a mortar, grenade launcher and machine gun - with night sights.
Military chemists from 4 countries liquidated the consequences of a conditional man-made disaster in the Yaroslavl region.

"Shooting was carried out at a chest target from a distance of 300 m, all participants were provided with 10 rounds and five minutes to complete the exercise.The Russian Ministry of Defense has launched the portal of the International Army Games-2016, which publishes information on the results of international games - both intermediate and final. The French newspaper Le Figaro noted that the competition was a PR campaign for Russian weapons. I suppose the professionals of all the countries involved and the national fans think differently. It would be useful for every NATO serviceman to feel the power of Russian weapons at the training ground. Unfortunately, the countries of the alliance (with the exception of Greece) are so far ignoring this interesting simulator of modern warfare in all environments.

Peaceful competitions of weapon systems and technologies serve to strengthen international military and military-technical cooperation of the participants, increase the level of combat training, and increase prestige military service, demonstration of combat capabilities (tactical and technical characteristics) of modern weapons, military and special equipment. Ultimately, they provide stability on the planet.
The International Army Games 2016 were held on the territory of Kazakhstan and Russia from July 30 to August 13. Servicemen from 19 countries took part in the competition.
