The pupil of the Kostanay wrestling school has a rich experience of performing at the adult Asian championships, for example, he won bronze medals twice, and in 2014 he became a silver medalist in Astana. Now his collection of awards has been adorned with the long-awaited gold of Asia. In the final, the Kazakhstani beat the Korean wrestler with a dry score of 5:0. By the way, Yerezhepov's victory is the second consecutive victory of Kazakhstan at the Asian Championships in this weight. Last year, Doszhan Kartikov became the champion in 75 kg.
