How to make a trampoline out of paper. Track (track), do-it-yourself road

If you love roller skating, you will probably miss the thrill over time - after all, in addition to ordinary skating, there are various tricks that can be performed on roller skates, reaching the pinnacle of skill in the art of skating. The simplest stunt device that rollerbladers can use is springboard, which the roller can do on its own, using simple tools and improvised materials. In this article, we will tell you how to make a flat wooden springboard using a hacksaw for wood, a jigsaw, a drill and a screwdriver.

Instruction

  1. Start with making springboard not too steep. First, draw a sketch in the form of a right triangle, the lower leg of which is 145 cm, and the side leg is 60 cm. The hypotenuse will be the immediate length springboard but. Take a sheet of birch plywood 24 mm thick, as well as 10 meters of boards 4 cm thick.
  2. On the plywood, draw the outline of the triangle springboard and apply along the contour of the board. Saw off the corners from them so that they fit into a triangle. With a hacksaw, cut out boards of the desired shape for the longitudinal sides of the triangle, and then shorter ones.
  3. Fasten the side frames springboard and with the help of a drill and self-tapping screws or screws. Do not make more than four holes with a drill at the frame attachment point. Also, do not use ordinary nails and a hammer for fastening.
  4. Having made two triangles of sidewalls, cut out four transverse boards that you will fasten between the triangles. They will ensure the strength of the structure and allow you to even better secure the site. springboard and over the frame. Fasten the cross boards at right angles to the sloped slope line with self-tapping screws.
  5. Now take a sheet of plywood of the desired length and width, according to your frame and its dimensions, adding 1 cm on each side. Attach the sheet to the frame with screws and a drill, making gaps between the screws by 10-12 cm.
  6. To springboard became stronger, in its wide part, under the rise, strengthen the transverse board. To drop by springboard it was more convenient and safer, on the lower bevel touching the ground, reinforce a narrow metal strip 30 cm wide and 3 mm thick.
  7. Fasten the steel strip with screws so that its front edge protrudes slightly from the edge of the plywood sheet. This will allow you to drive on without shaking. springboard from any surface. soak springboard protective impregnation and paint.

Straight trampoline

To begin with, let's start building springboards - flat and with a radius. The springboards themselves can be of almost any design: solid wood, metal with wood, and even concrete ... We will focus on the all-wood construction, and here's why: no special equipment is needed. tools, welding and other additional equipment. Of the tools you will need: a hacksaw for wood, an electric or hand drill, and screwdrivers. Find a jigsaw - make this micro-building much easier for yourself.

Let's start with flat run jumps: they are easier to build and will give you a little practice before making other elements of the site.

Flat springboards, despite the primitiveness of their appearance and design, are quite a necessary thing: especially for a start, it makes you understand the sensations of height and flight (even if symbolic).

In this case, there are no "standard" configurations. The ratio of the length and height (i.e. steepness) of such a springboard, in principle, can be anything, but you need to remember that a flat springboard with too much steepness will greatly dampen speed, and the sensations after such a “sticking” into an inclined plane are not very...

When marking, it is easier to calculate the slope in degrees: let's say a springboard with a curvature of 10 degrees. with a height of 40 cm is quite suitable for beginners. And on the springboard with a steepness of 25 degrees. and 1m high. you can do serious things.

Let's start with a sketch: let's say we build a springboard 145 cm long and 60 cm high - these dimensions provide it with an acceptable average steepness. For the trampoline you will need:

plywood: 1 sheet 24 mm or 2 sheets 12 mm, plywood is better to look for hardwood - birch, etc.

boards: 40 mm thick, total length 10 meters (2-3 floor boards will do). Width of boards - any.

Frame layout. I recommend drawing a triangle with a springboard plan directly on a sheet of plywood. Then lay the boards on the outline of the drawing (i.e. along its outline) as they will be located in the springboard frame structure and transfer the cutting lines to them. You will get marked blanks for the frame, cut off the excess on them with a hacksaw.

First, make longitudinal elements (long) and only then from the remaining pieces - transverse (short).

Frame preparation: fasten the sidewalls. We put the cut-off blanks of the longitudinal (which are long) parts on plywood according to the pattern (triangle); these blanks can be lightly attached to the plywood with long, thin nails so that they do not move during the assembly process. Then we put crossbars on top of them, drill them at the stitching points with a 4 mm drill and fasten them to the longitudinal parts using 75x7 mm self-tapping screws (75x8 mm) or screws 65-75 mm long. Make no more than 4 holes at each attachment point - a large number of them will not add strength, but, on the contrary, will only weaken the frame stitching point. Nails should not be used unambiguously - knots fastened with nails quickly weaken and loosen from monotonous loads.

Frame assembly. First you need to decide on the width of the springboard:

Based on the width, you need to make 4-5 blanks for the crossbars for the crate. Each must be attached to the sidewalls at right angles to the slope, for this it will be enough for two or three self-tapping screws 75-80 mm long with a board width of 15-18 cm.

Sheathe the frame with plywood. This is the easiest operation - measure the length and width of the top of the springboard, add an allowance of 1-2 cm on each side, after which you can cut.

Fasteners: depending on the thickness of the plywood - with self-tapping screws (screws) of the appropriate length, the distance between the fastening points is 10-12 cm. After the top is sheathed, the structure will become rigid.

The main thing - do not hammer the screws with a hammer.

Finishing. We put the crossbars in front of the springboard. You can strengthen it with braces and from below.

In general, the most important part of the work in the manufacture of any jumps, slides, etc. - Proper check-in. This is done as follows: fasten a steel strip 300 mm wide and 3 mm thick with M5 screws with a cone head (under the sweat) so that 10 cm of the strip protrudes before the start of the race. When the springboard rests on the asphalt, this free edge will bend itself as it should. The ride will be smooth and solid.

The finished springboard should be impregnated with water-repellent impregnation and painted. There are many such antiseptic impregnations, both Russian and imported.

The cheapest and most affordable option is to soak the entire tree with hot drying oil and paint it with oil paint.
