Sea fishing in Kuchugury: how to combine recreation at the resort with exciting fishing. All-season fishing Taman Bay July fishing Laban

The rich fauna of the Black and Azov Seas will delight fishing enthusiasts. For fishermen, the very nature of the peninsula has created the maximum conditions. You can sit with a fishing rod on the banks of the Kuban or Erik River, fish in estuaries, on the ponds of hunting bases. A good catch will not keep you waiting. In the fishing cage, they will clog catfish, pike perch, ram, carp, carp, pike or bream with their tails. It has become traditional to hold a spinning championship on the territory of the Temryuk region. It takes place annually in April-May and gathers a huge number of fishermen - amateurs and professionals. Gobies are one of the most widespread trades in these parts of the world - they just ask to be hooked. In addition, locals offer an inexpensive wide selection of commercial fish: pelingas, pike perch, trout and even sturgeon. Fish can be caught both in estuaries and eriks, and in the sea. You can do it yourself. Or you can use boats and boats together with the gamekeeper of the hunting farm .. Do not forget the tackle at home. Although you can agree to rent a boat and everything for fishing. Locals say that in August, at a certain time, when the water becomes very warm, a large number of fish swims straight to the shore and you can literally catch it with your hands.
· Anglers should be equipped with corn, shrimps, pearl barley feeders, donuts, and various other "gadgets", without which no serious fishing can do.

PIKE

The Azov estuaries, or simply floodplains, in the western part of the Krasnodar Territory are considered an excellent place for fishing. The “mistress” of estuaries - pike, which is found in abundance in these shallow lakes, is perfectly caught in warm weather by spinning on artificial lures. And since instead of solid shores the labyrinths of estuaries are separated by kilometer thickets of reeds, it will be possible to "smoothly" fish only with the help of a boat.

The Taman Bay is neither vast nor deep, nor does it belong to the most remarkable resorts in southern Russia. However, this does not make it less interesting and worthy of attention than others. On the contrary, it is of great interest both for scientists of various kinds of activity and for tourists who do not gravitate towards gigantomania, but pay attention to other, more important features than the dimensional and depth dimensions.

Significant archaeological sites, some of the oldest in the Black Sea region, are found on the coast of this vast harbor washing. There are very beautiful, attractively acting places here, and Mother Nature has created an amazing ecosystem. And also the bay and its surroundings are many unique and inimitable - this is what must be taken into account first of all.

Where is Taman Bay on the map?

We are talking about the most western harbor of the Krasnodar Territory, which is limited from the north-west, and from the south-west - or rather, the Kerch bridge. On its banks there are such settlements: Taman, Primorsky, Sennoy, Yubileiny, Volna Revolyutsii, Garkusha and Ilyich. Another mini-bay, Dinskaya, stands out in the northeast.

Geography, origin and nature

A small bay, especially against the background of neighboring ones, cuts into. Its almost regular oval water area stretches from west to east with a slight displacement to the north, for a distance of 16 km; in the northeastern part, it forms another tiny bay - Dinskaya, which has already been mentioned.

Its width is practically the same along its entire length and is 8 km. Its depth is also small, which corresponds to the predominantly low-lying relief of the peninsula of the same name, in the deepest area does not exceed 5 m. The total area of the Taman Bay, including Dinskaya, is 38.4 thousand square meters. km.

Geographically, the Taman Bay is of the greatest interest because it is still unclear what kind of sea it represents, about which heated debates have not stopped in the scientific community for decades. This question is really not easy and it is unlikely that it will ever be resolved, because the harbor is located where the Black and Azov seas merge together through the Kerch Strait.

Thus, it is simply impossible to attribute it to one or the other, and the affiliation of the bay in written sources varies depending on the situation or the personal preferences of the author. So he is in limbo, the only one of its kind without a registration.

Origin

He is referred to as relatively young. For 2500 years BC on the area of the present bay there was a low-lying, mostly swampy land, and in the western and south-western parts - floodplains. In the eastern, southeastern and northeastern areas, there were areas with a predominance of low mountain formations, composed of unstable, soft rocks - sandstone and porous shell rock.

Approximately in the I-II millennium BC. e. as a result of a sharp change in climatic conditions and tectonic activity, a gradual sinking of the land began, continuing to this day, but not at the same pace as 3000 years ago. In 1984, it was recorded that the bottom of the bay falls from 2 to 5 mm per year.

Natural features

The Taman Bay is replete with small lagoons with a high salt concentration and lakes as salty as the Markitanskoye and Tuzla. Scattered across the water area are shell-sand islands - Lisiy, Krupinina, Dzendzik (the largest of them), spits, spits and even a mud volcano named Blevako and located between the Chushka spit and the Dzendzik island, closer to the coast.

And the bottom of the bay belongs to the unique and inimitable in its kind due to the fact that it is covered with grass throughout, but not sea, but the most common, growing on land. No one really knows how she managed to adapt to the bottom surface of the reservoir - this causes surprise and discouragement among those visiting a natural attraction for the first time.

Taman Bay attractions and fishing

You can get to Senny by car from the city of Temryuk, the regional center, as follows:

Tourist notes

  • Address: Taman Peninsula, Krasnodar Territory, Russia.
  • GPS coordinates: 45.290306, 36.767883.

So it turns out that it is not in the size that the attractiveness of this or that place really lies. And the small Taman Bay - the best is proof. Where else can you find so much in such a limited space? The thing is that you can't even see it in a photo, let alone touch, feel, feel, and at least roll over. In conclusion, we offer a video clip about the sights described above, enjoy your viewing!

My name is Julia, our whole family is avid fishermen, I will tell you about my experience of sea fishing in Kuchugury on the Sea of Azov. Basically, people go to this resort to relax by the sea, not suspecting that here you can do exciting sea fishing. We rested here in the summer, the emphasis of our vacation was specifically on fishing, and what I can tell you - fishing here is just wonderful.

For some reason, for many, fishing is the privilege of men. We go fishing with the whole family - a husband, two teenage sons and I - the only woman in our family.

Of course, I don't touch on the technical side of organizing our trips: equipment, a tent, a car - my husband prepares and assembles everything. We catch and clean the catch all together, but cooking over a fire is my responsibility.

We plan our summer holidays taking into account our common hobby. Last summer, the choice fell on the Sea of Azov. We went for 3 weeks, so we decided to book an inexpensive hotel, and from it we already had to make radial forays into nature. I liked the village of Kuchugury - adequate prices for housing, in a civilized manner, good cuisine, a lot of vitamins and luxurious beaches, to make the boys healthier - is always one of the important points of our vacation.

We set off in our car, loading the trunk full of everything we needed. The hotel was therefore chosen closer to the outskirts of the village with free and safe parking. Arriving on the eastern coast of the village, we were surprised by the individual charm of the courtyard with a hint of French guest houses in Provence, even lavender blossoms elegantly greet guests in a graceful bow. In general, we liked everything. But we are talking about fishing, so everything is in order.

Features of sea fishing in Kuchugury

First of all, we found out on the spot about the peculiarities of fishing in Kuchugury. From the shore they fish in three places - on Cape Pekla, on the stones - the first and second, and finally, the farthest place from the village - Orlovsky stones, about 5 km from Kuchugur. We chose Pekla, on the cape there is still a local exotic - a mud volcano, in which people can swim for free. On both sides of the path leading to the sea from the mud pool, they catch gobies, and if you're lucky, a pelengas, a tasty and boneless fish, a kind of mullet, comes to the shore.

From the end of July to mid-August, at 4-8 o'clock in the morning, the bite is special - because of the heat and lack of oxygen, fish go en masse to the shallow waters of the coastal zone, even on the rocks there is no need to jump too much. By the way, it is caught with an ordinary fishing rod with a reel or a spinning rod, but we made the attachment from boiled chicken meat, but local fishermen suggested that it is better to catch the centipede-like nereis with the sea worm. You can dig up this beast near the coast where there is clay soil, and not sand with shells. However, we did not dig, but bought at a local market.

We were lucky with the catch - we stocked up with gobies for a long time: they salted, then soaked and dried, wrapped in gauze. Twice I managed to catch the pelengas - that was a holiday. The hotel has a barbecue, a gazebo, so we fried the first fish carcass on a wire rack, pouring it with a mixture of olive oil and lemon juice... The second pelengas was baked in foil over charcoal with onions, carrots and tomatoes.

In addition to fishing from the shore, in Kuchugury you can still negotiate with local fishermen and go out to sea on a rented boat. If you're lucky, besides the Azov herring, red mullet and mullet, you will also rare speciesloban or garfish.

Fishing on the Taman estuaries

There are many estuaries around Kuchugur, and they are all fish. In our catches, pikes and perches predominated, I liked crucian carp fishing on paid ponds - they caught carp mixed with gustra, small, but often with ordinary bread bait.

On the Akhtanizovsky estuary, in addition to pikes and perches, they caught a rudd and a ram on corn, and in the evening the eldest son was lucky - a small goose fell for the bait. And then we were advised to go to the girla - this is a channel connecting the estuary with the sea, they say, this is where the zander walks in countless numbers, but we could not catch it there, but we caught almost every bucket of sabrefish.

We also remember a trip to Taman Bay with an overnight stay. The catch for the whole family turned out to be notable.

Carps and carp were especially pleased, and the bite was equally good both in the morning and in the evening. There are a lot of pikes, crucians and perches, but they cannot be compared to carp in taste. On the way, we managed to buy sour cream from a farmer, so the dinner turned out to be almost homemade, albeit cooked over a fire.

Fish dishes in the restaurant "Lavanda-Azov"

Of course, fish cooked in nature is delicious in a special way, but how can I compete with the talent of preparing fish dishes of the restaurant chef of our hotel!

I was captivated by the Azov bouillabaisse - a fish soup served with garlic croutons, preferably from white baguette bread and rui sauce. I don’t know, I haven’t been to Marseille and I haven’t tried French bouillabaisse, but I’m sure it tastes better in Kuchugurs, because it’s prepared on the basis of fish broth, into which all the small fish of the morning catch from the fishing brigades got into. The fish broth is cooked for 5-6 hours, until the fish is completely boiled down and a thick and aromatic base soup is obtained.

By the way, the hotel restaurant has a very relevant concept for any resort traveler - the Lokavor concept, when all products - local - are purchased only within a radius of 50-100 km, that is, there is no doubt about their shelf life, because it, as such, is actually absent.

My men liked the grilled Azov fish - a fish gourmet's dream, a large dish with 5-6 species - gobies, red mullet, lobanum and garfish, in general, what the sea brought the fishermen into the nets in the morning. An insanely delicious accent in the restaurant's menu - mullet fillet in parchment, already sweet, seasoned with vegetables and spices.

shrimp on the table of a restaurant in a hotel

Our boys happily devoured toasts with Azov anchovies - anchovies - hamsa, tasted crabs from estuaries and Azov shrimps, which my husband and I seemed to be an incredible delicacy for beer.

We did not regret for a second that we went on vacation to Kuchugury! Although we do not particularly like to travel twice to the same place, we sit in a snow-covered house and think - why not repeat last year's vacation again on the Azov coast in Kuchugury?

I would like to tell you about catching one of the most unusual fish of the Black Sea - a stingray - a stingray. This ray is not "electric", but it is dangerous nonetheless. At the end of its tail, it has a poisonous thorn, and sometimes there are two or even three of them. The poison is not fatal, but it causes acute pain, nausea, and pressure drops.

Therefore, be prepared, as soon as you pull the fish ashore, carefully cut off the poisonous thorn with a sharp knife. Hide it so that no one can accidentally step on it with a bare foot.

So, I introduced the safety instructions, now to the fishing technique itself. As far as I know, stingray is caught practically along the entire coast of the Black, as well as the Azov seas of the Krasnodar Territory. I caught a stingray in July on the Tuzla Spit in the Kerch Strait. The road from the village of Taman is good enough, you can drive any car.

I fished from the shore. The tackle is the most common: spinning rod with a reel, main line - 0.4 mm, leads about 20 cm, sinker 100 g, hooks 2 or 3.

The bait is a goby fish. It is not difficult to catch a goby, it is found everywhere in shallow water, it bites on almost any bait, I caught on an ordinary worm. It is important that the bait goby stays alive, take care of this.

So, the bait is on the hook, we throw it as far as possible - the success of our operation will depend on it. We wait. You can hang a bell.

From experienced fishermen I heard that during the day the stingray hunts at a rather great depth, at night it comes closer to the shore. Therefore, at night from the shore there is a chance to catch larger specimens. I caught three small stingrays during the day, but at night I never got a bite.

Fish soup was prepared from the caught fish. The stingray meat was not impressed by the taste, it is understandable, a family of sharks, but its liver is simply enormous in size and tastes like "you lick your fingers" - tender, fatty, a real delicacy.

This was my first and so far the only experience in catching stingrays. Impressions are amazing, and the result is pleasing. We are waiting for the new season to repeat it. Happy catching everyone!
