Description

The modification adds optical versions of all game bows to Skyrim. You will have access to 27 optical bows. Each of which has its own unique look, and is as close as possible to the gaming atmosphere. This mod was created for playing with a bow in first person without a game sight. More detailed information in "RECOMMENDATIONS". At least two sights are attached to each bow. One is used for aiming while standing, the other for aiming while in stealth mode. Some bows have a third, additional sight that allows for more accurate concealed shooting and compensates for weapon swing. The location of the sights is identical to the location of the game interface sight on the screen. Therefore, it is recommended to disable the game sight, this will significantly increase immersion in the atmosphere of the game.

Optical sights work with any value. But keep in mind, the higher the value, the smaller (or further away) the crosshair will be. The default FOV works best!

Compatibility

This mod is compatible with everything, provided that the 1stperson skeleton or 1stperson draw animation is not changed.
There may be interference from some mods that disrupt the alignment of the crosshairs, moving them around and ultimately rendering them useless.
This can also happen if you experiment with the size of the shield in the "racemenu". (leave the shield size to default!)

"Longbows" is a mod for Skyrim, developed under the influence of the very beautiful, but buggy "Hunter", the brainchild of Nexus. The weapons added by the mod are not remakes of Nexus content, although similar textures were used during development, with the permission of the authors of Hunter. This mod was made with the aim of creating an equally beautiful weapon, devoid of a number of problems of the “Hunter”.

Installation procedure:

1. Download the bow mod for Skyrim.

2. Copy Data from the archive to the root of the game.

Peculiarities:

The mod adds a total of six new types of bows to the game. Each of the “Liquidators” is distinguished by its own, special characteristics. If you have the “From tip to fletch” mod, new bows can be improved and created independently.

Appearance All bows are different. There is full support for using weapons for characters of both sexes, namely the correct animation when girls pull the bowstring. Despite the fact that in this mod for Skyrim the bows are slightly longer than the original ones, thanks to the well-fitted meshes, the bow string is pulled without any ugly bends.

The sight in the new weapon is beyond praise: absolutely lore-based and requiring full concentration. The feeling of using the new bows is truly realistic. Of course, in order to aim properly and gain the glory of Robin Hood, you will have to practice properly.

Special parts kits for making bows can be purchased from archery supply dealers. One of these works in an inconspicuous archery shop next to the Imperial Legion forge in Solitude, the other works in the Drunken Hunter next to the main gate of Whiterun. The types of “Liquidators” available for sale depend on the level of Dovahkiin.

Mod requirements:

To improve and create "Liquidators" you will need the "From Tip to Feather" plugin.

Known bugs:

As in many other Skyrim mods, bows are gender locked. To avoid the problem of mismatching the position of the drawn bowstring in relation to the hands, "Liquidators" created by men should be given only to male characters, and those created by women - only to female ones.
