I have been friends with the 4 Seasons brand for a long time and closely: it all started, of course, with simple vegetable mixtures, much later I joined their berries and a new line of full-fledged ready-made exotic dishes.

4 Seasons is a terry middle peasant in terms of prices, but, most importantly, there are a lot of cheap brands, but to have high-quality vegetables inside the packages is far from all brands tend to provide, even expensive ones. Here, the waste from cutting vegetables has never come across yet; pieces with dark spoiled areas were rarely found.

And yet, you won’t eat their simple vegetables by themselves as a side dish: tasteless, aftertastes ... not only illiterate combinations, but either the vegetables were processed somehow wrong, or something else ... So vegetables from simple freezing 4 Seasons, we only mix as an additive, if necessary, in other dishes (from soup to a compound vegetable side dish with a lot of fresh vegetables).

Plus, from Season 4, more simple and non-exotic mixes have now appeared on sale WITHOUT potatoes (it usually came in huge quantities in their mixes and had some very strange taste, and this, I think, is a huge minus): Mexican, lecho, paprikash, summer.

Of the vegetables, I definitely like the “Mexican Mix” the most: it is very tasty in itself - an ideal and versatile combination of a large number of ingredients, and as a full-fledged side dish, 100% alone, and almost suitable for any dishes. IMHO the only complete "thing in itself" in this brand. And, yes, not a gram spicy - just the most characteristic vegetables for Mexican dishes.

Season 4 had a variety of simple dishes like “Sorrel Soup”, rice with vegetables, but not so long ago a line of “pretty ready meals” was released (and now it has been expanded to 23 items): from Lagman ”, “Champignons de Paris” and up to the Japanese “Yakisobi” and the Australian “Tyrolean Pork”. It cannot be said that it is tasty, and not only because much is too specific (not even exotic, but specific), but also because EVERYTHING is prepared according to the principle of achieving a “possible minimum” and a catchy, but unnatural taste. Sauces and spices are not natural, combinations of ingredients are often a clumsy attempt to make something out of nothing, lamb is always stale with flavors (and, in principle, any meat here in every dish is not very good, although it’s not that they save on quantity). For example, “Sakenu”, “Chakhokhbili with beans” could not eat at all, and threw away almost 400 rubles, “Fondue Emmental” is not sure that someone else can eat because of the wild taste of stale broccoli, overshadowing everything else. "Bozbash", "Risotto", "Paella", "Chicken Curry" finished with great difficulty. Itself exclusively for a change I buy from them “Lagman”, “Pork in sweet and sour sauce” (a very sweet dish with whole mini-corn), “Champion de Paris” (keep 1.5 longer on fire when cooking, otherwise large pieces potatoes are not baked, and it is impossible to eat) and very rarely “Pilaf with lamb”. I want to try the newest Prima Verde, Tyrolean Pork and Yakisoba. You will not find these dishes on sale everywhere, and they are most often expensive - from 215 rubles. for 1 pack.

But there are no complaints at all about the berries of the 4th Season: the quality is excellent, the variety is also only pleasing. But not all of them are cheap. And so, half thawed, mixed 1 package with 3-5 tablespoons of sugar (fructose, honey - even better!) - and the filling for amazing pies from yeast-free puff pastry is ready. The pies really turn out great: fast, cheap, cheerful, healthy and dietary, very tasty.
