As for the guest set, there are no photos or layouts yet. The guest uniform is known to be dark gold. We showed you the third form in.

Someone refuses the buttons on the collar, others, on the contrary, insist on this. The Gunners belong to the first category of footballers. At least for a year, they have been running around on the football field in just this version. The presented Arsenal uniform, which the London club players will wear in 2016-2017, as already mentioned, will lose the button on the collar. At the same time, the line that could be mentally drawn, looking at the part of the fabric where the button was, will now be real.

Home version of the outfit of the London "Gunners"

Arsenal's new outfit for the 2016/2017 season for matches at Emirates is presented by the Londoners' technical sponsor, the clothing and footwear brand Puma. On the presented photos, especially on those where the players are walking around in new T-shirts and shorts, it can be seen that the uniform is more tight-fitting, like an away outfit for the ended season. A burgundy center panel extends from the center of the sheer collar to the bottom. On the sleeves and at the very top of the collar, thin black lines are seen bordering these parts of the form. The Puma logo, as it should be, is made in a white shade.

Arsenal's away kit for the 2016-2017 season

Arsenal's 2016/2017 away kit is yellow, not gold. There are no intricate rhombuses here either. The perimeter of the T-shirt is yellow, embossed (vertical). The sleeves and collars are mostly black. There is a zebra pattern at the edges of the sleeves, made up of short yellow and black lines. The Puma logo is black, as is the Fly Emirates lettering, indicating the Gunners' title sponsor. By the way, she is white in her home uniform, which in itself should not be surprising.

Goalkeeper uniform

Basic kit For Arsenal 2016/2017, the designers of Puma have changed quite a lot. The innovation comes in the form of a T-shirt. The colors have remained virtually unchanged. Here is the same light gray, and the shade of red is slightly brighter than last season's version. White was significantly added with a wide stripe along the shoulder, a border of the neckline and canvases of the sleeves. They are decorated with a thin black stripe. The clasp on the collar is again missing, and the neckline itself is of an atypical trapezoidal shape.

On the front canvas, a network of smoky stripes has been transformed into one wider, vertical one running down the center. The shorts are white, as are the technical and title sponsor logos.

Guest set 16/17 is now bright yellow. Back and front panel with striped vertical relief. This shade of yellow is significantly brighter than the previous gold, finished in the spirit of classic contrast - black. In addition to the logos, the decor is represented by a polo collar, “bee” stripes on the cuffs of the sleeves. The list of black elements is completed by a wide stripe of the main part of the sleeve, tapering off in a wedge to the side seam.

Backup form Arsenal in the 2016/2017 season is bluish-black. Sponsor logos, cuffs and stripe from them to the shoulder in a bright, green-yellow hue, often referred to as “acid”. Complemented with gray, narrow wedge trim along the sleeves, from the cuff to the classic round collar. This uniform, like the off-site uniform, has a very contrasting combination often used in sportswear and footwear.

In the photo of the new Arsenal 2016/2017 kits, the features of the cut are clearly visible on the players. T-shirts of all three sets are distinguished by a very fitted silhouette and sleeves, elongated to the elbow, with even narrower cuffs. Such a streamlined shape should be comfortable for the players and complementary to their physique.

How to maintain your soccer kit

The modern playing and training football uniform is made of high quality textiles, which have a structure of extra fine fibers containing pores, which allows for comfort, quick drying and control of the player's body temperature during the game. To maintain these unique properties of a football, as well as any other sports uniform, you need to adhere to simple rules for its care, washing and storage.

  • After an intense game, immediately before washing, any football uniform, regardless of its color, manufacturer's brand or any other distinctive features, should be turned inside out so as not to damage the logos, emblems, names, surnames and numbers printed on it during washing.
  • We recommend using mild detergents as detergents.
  • It is strictly forbidden to soak and wash modern football uniforms and sports paraphernalia made of modern synthetic materials in water, the temperature of which exceeds 30 ° C.
  • Attention! When a football uniform is washed in water with a temperature of 40 ° C and higher, modern sports fabrics change their original structure and properties, up to its complete destruction.
  • It is strictly forbidden to use bleach products containing chlorine.
  • It is recommended to spin at low speed in the washing machine.
  • The best place to dry your football shirt is with your regular clothes dryer.
  • Attention! It is strictly forbidden to use batteries and other heating devices to dry a modern football uniform, since under the influence of high temperatures, synthetic fabrics change their original structure and properties, up to their complete destruction.
  • Ironing modern football uniforms is not recommended at all. When evenly hanging a form made of modern materials, it will acquire an even, original shape without any problems. If, nevertheless, you have such a need, you need to turn the shape inside out and iron it with an iron at the lowest possible temperature, carefully trying to bypass all logos, emblems and other unique symbols.

Arsenal is one of the oldest and most respected football clubs in the world, dating back to 1886. "Socker.ru" talks about the fashion of the "Gunners", which they carried through the decades: we study the evolution of the uniform of Londoners!

The beginning of time

In 1886, a football club was founded in southeast London by workers at the Royal Arsenal Artillery Factory, which was originally named the Dayal Square. Even then, five years before acquiring professional status, the "gunners" decided on their appearance. The team was joined by three former Nottingham Forest players, bringing with them their dark red Foresters' uniforms. One of them, Fred Beardsley, suggested that the Dial Square also turn red. His idea was unanimously supported.

The team played only one game under the name "Dial Square". At the Christmas meeting, it was decided to change the name to Royal Arsenal. At the same time, the colors of the club were approved. In 1891 the club received professional status and a new name - "Woolwich Arsenal". Among fans, the name "Woolwich Reds" is also common. The color of the pantaloons and leggings varies, but the dark red shirts are the same.

In the first quarter of the 20th century, the design of ammunition changed for the sake of fashion and time, but Arsenal adhered to an unshakable rule: red top, white bottom. In 1914, part of Woolwich was removed from the official name.

The team in 1913.

Chapman's reforms

A major change in Arsenal's image took place in 1925. The Gunners owe their present appearance to the legendary Herbert Chapman. Firstly, under him, Londoners changed the dark red color of T-shirts to bright red, and secondly, they began to flirt with white. First came white collars, and soon the hallmark of Arsenal - white sleeves. The popular version is that Chapman was inspired by a boy who played soccer in a red sleeveless sweater over a white shirt. In 1927, the gunners' uniform first appeared with an emblem on the left side of the chest.

Champions of the 1934/1935 season.

50s and 60sXXcentury

In the 50s of the XX century, "Arsenal" kept pace with the times: the transition from rugby woven shirts to new knitted clothes took place successfully. For the sake of fashion, the white collar on the red uniform also changes: it is V-shaped, and then suddenly round. From 1963 to 1966, the Gunners made an attempt to abandon the white sleeves, but fans greeted this innovation coldly.

Arsenal won the First English Division in 1952/1953.

1966, last without white sleeves. Note that there is no emblem on the shirt.

1967 - 1985: cannon,UmbroandJVC

The graphic logo with the cannon settled on the uniform in 1967, and ten years later, Arsenal has the first technical sponsor, whose logo is applied to the game ammunition - Umbro. In 1981, the Gunners begin cooperation with JVC. The Japanese company has been Arsenal's title sponsor for 18 years.

Such was Arsenal in 1970/1971 when they scored their first double, winning the league and the FA Cup.

By the way, in the decisive battle for the oldest football trophy on planet Earth, Arsenal played against Liverpool in a yellow kit that has come into use.

The era of George Graham

In 1986, Arsenal began a partnership with Adidas, which lasted until 1994, when Nike took over, dressing the Gunners for twenty years. Please note the changes in the club logo: the graphic image of the cannon has been replaced with a full-fledged coat of arms.

George Graham and Charlie Nicholas.

Arsenal beat Liverpool in yellow jersey again in the 1988/1989 showdown at Anfield.

1991 title. David Seeman became the Champion of England in his first season at Highbury.

1996 - 2004: Arsen is with them!

The title sponsors of the Gunners after JVC were Dreamcast and O2.

The happy outfit of the 2001/2002 Premier League champions with a Dreamcast on their chest.

And finally, the "Invincible" of the 2003/2004 Premier League draw, in which the "Gunners" did not suffer a single defeat.

The second half of the "zero"

During this period of history, Arsenal did not win titles, but many of the kits deserve special attention.

In the 2005-2006 season, the Gunners said goodbye to Highbury. Their uniforms were inspired by the first jerseys that Arsenal played in their legendary stadium, which was living out its last months. The corresponding color and the absence of white sleeves - everything is like at the beginning of the 20th century.

In their first season at the Emirates, Arsenal returned to their traditional appearance, and in the 2007/2008 season, a uniform was developed to recall the influence of Herbert Chapman and the role of the famous manager in the history of the Gunners.

Newest kits

Arsenal have retained their traditional style, the 130-year-old club remains true to its original colors, which does not prevent the Gunners from successfully experimenting with individual elements of the uniform.

Many people liked the "Dutch" sleeves, even if they did not help keep Robin van Persie.

Arsenal's outfit looks more than stylish in the last three seasons when Puma took over the outfit responsibility. For this campaign, a uniform was made with a vertical stripe in the middle, which continues the glorious tradition with dignity.
