Fifa 14 tallest players. Cheap Negro and Golden Youth

If you missed the previous episodes, here's a summary of the previous episodes:

Just in case, we remind you how we chose the players. The footballers were selected solely on the basis of playing skills and excluding cost. In other words, it will not do without expensive superstars - apart from any price, these are some of the strongest players in Ultimate Team. The only exception was made for legendary footballers exclusive to the Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions.

Best Attacking Midfielder: David Silva

Choosing the best attacking midfielder in the world, we faced a lot of problems. The main one is that in FIFA this position is very blurred - some players put in place the passer of players of other roles (Gundogan, Schweinsteiger, Pirlo, Vidal, Rooney, Cavani, Messi, Ibrahimovic), and in certain schemes this position is not at all taken into account. Therefore, when choosing an attacking footballer, we relied on the image of a classic dispatcher or “fantasists,” as they are called in Italian football. And David Silva from Manchester City won this difficult competition.

We admit that David Silva, if he is stronger than his competitors in this position - Mario Goetze and Mesuta Ozila - is completely insignificant. All three have similar playing skills: miniature, agile, with excellent technique and passing. But Silva is faster, has a more powerful shot from a long distance and hits free throws better. In addition, the Spaniard, among other things, is one of the most expensive players in his position in the game - about 120 thousand coins.

Challengers for the position of an attacking midfielder: Mesut Ozil (Arsenal) & Mario Goetze (Bayern)

80 RADJA NAINGGOLAN

The Belgian midfielder is known for his intimidating presence in the middle of the pitch, which isn’t necessarily commonplace for a player whose chief role isn’t to defend or protect his back line. Nainggolan is truly two-way in that he’s nearly as good with the ball as he is at getting it back. His 83 Physical and Defending ratings give him the edge when trying to intercept or tackle, while a respectable 82 Dribbling rating provides the confidence and composure he needs to create something for his attackers.

JUVENTUS

79 ALEX SANDRO

Steadily building his reputation around the world after making his presence known in Serie A, Brazilian left-back Sandro brings a balanced skill-set to a position that is probably more important than ever before. He's a menace when running up the pitch, leaving opponents in the dust with his 85 Pace and 81 Dribbling ratings. But as with any top fullback, Sandro also possesses dangerous Defending (82) and Physical (83) ratings that make him more than capable of standing up against even the most talented of wingers.

JUVENTUS

78 MEDHI BENATIA

The Moroccan international has played for some of the world’s biggest clubs in recent seasons, settling in Turin with Juventus after a loan spell. Benatia has all the key attributes of a top defender, including 87 Defending and 85 Physical ratings. He has an important role in the Juventus defense, using his height to dominate in the air and his experience to organize the players around him.

VALENCIA CF

77 PAREJO

Though often deployed in a deeper midfield role, Parejo's strengths tend to skew towards the offensive. Whether he’s creating something for a teammate with a clever pass (88 Passing) or bursting into the box to take a shot for himself (80 Shooting), Parejo has a particular set of skills that make him very dangerous in just about any situation.

MANCHESTER UNITED

76 NEMANJA MATIĆ

Generally deployed solely as a defensive midfielder, Serbian international Matić treats his role like a highly-specialized craftsman would. With 83 Defending and Physical ratings, Matić can do nearly anything needed in a defensive capacity-which he is often tasked with doing.

JUVENTUS

75 DOUGLAS COSTA

One of the fastest left midfielders in the game, Costa's 95 Pace is nothing short of electrifying. Combined with his 91 Dribbling rating (and 5-star skill moves), the Brazilian excels at getting into precarious positions on the left side where he can fire in crosses or cut inside to shoot.

CHELSEA

74 CESAR AZPILICUETA

After making the transition from fullback to center back a couple seasons ago, the Spaniard has thrived by playing the position to his strengths. Azpilicueta has a whopping 87 Defending rating, which illustrates his excellence at the most important part of his position. While he’s not as tall as some of the giant center backs out there, his strengths (intelligence, quick feet) more than compensate as he has cemented a spot in one of the best defenses in the English Premier League.

FC SCHALKE 04

73 NALDO

The Brazilian colossus is tall, even by center back standards at 6'6 ”, meaning that challenging him for a ball in the air is often utterly futile. He's not just a giant body in the box, though: his 87 Defending rating shows how well-rounded Naldo is as a defender. The Schalke man is also surprisingly good at set pieces, known for blasting the ball into the net with speed and accuracy not always associated with center backs.

MANCHESTER CITY

72 FERNANDINHO

Another paragon of the modern defensive midfielder, Fernandinho has the ideal attributes for his position-with a few tricks up his sleeve for when he happens to make it further up the pitch. His respectable 83 Defending rating is the centerpiece of his game, as he is usually tasked with recovering the ball in midfield or defending his back line. But his 79 Dribbling and 78 Passing ratings are solid, which helps him keep composure when taking the ball forward to create attacks or open space for teammates.

JUVENTUS

71 MIRALEM PJANIĆ

Perfectly suited to a deep-lying playmaker position, Pjanić has the chops to create just about anything from midfield. His 86 Dribbling ability keeps defenders off his back, while his 86 Passing rating lets him ping the ball all over the pitch to kick off attacks and play his teammates through on goal.

MANCHESTER CITY

70 LEROY SANÉ

Another speedy winger who makes the leap to world-class with exceptional technique on the ball, Sané flies down the left with his 95 Pace, but rarely loses the ball thanks to his 86 Dribbling ability. Depending on how his team is playing, he’s more than capable of cutting inside and lashing a shot at goal with an 81 Shooting rating.

JUVENTUS

69 LEONARDO BONUCCI

Italian hero Bonucci is known around the world for his performances for both club and country, and he’s still going strong. His 87 Defending rating encompasses tackling skill and ability to read the game, both of which play into his excellent form over the course of his career. Bonucci combines that with an 80 Physical rating that helps him win aerial battles and knock opponents off the ball like it’s second nature.

BAYERN MUNICH

68 JÉRÔME BOATENG

As far as center backs go, the Bayern Munich and Germany stalwart is about as complete a player as the position gets. His 85 Defending rating covers a penchant for tough tackling and defensive intelligence, but his 83 Physical rating also helps him shrug off challenges and keep the opposition at a distance.

BAYERN MUNICH

67 THOMAS MÜLLER

A prime example of a versatile attacker in the modern game, Muller has played just about every offensive position. But his nose for the goal (83 Shooting) and natural composure (78 Dribbling) on the ball lead many to believe his best position is as a forward. He often gets deployed in a “second striker” role behind another forward, in part because a solid 80 Passing rating thelps him create for the main forward or another teammate.

MANCHESTER CITY

66 EDERSON

The Brazilian shot-stopper has emerged as one of the best young goalkeepers in the world after his big move to Manchester City ahead of the 2017-18 season. Ederson checks nearly all the important boxes for the position, including a 90 Kicking rating that allows him to get counterattacks going quickly and accurately, an 85 Diving rating that explains how he seems to be able to get a hand on the most impossible shot attempts, and a ridiculous 87 Reflexes rating - few can catch him off guard between the posts.

LIVERPOOL

65 ROBERTO FIRMINO

A little different than many modern strikers, the Brazilian is well-rounded and versatile, just as able to flash his technique (86 Dribbling) as he is to make important passes (80 Passing) and shoot from just about anywhere (83 Shooting). Firmino does all the little things perfectly-and pretty much all the big things as well, making him a dream for almost any manager.

Best Center Forward: Zlatan Ibrahimovic

The Swedish king of football is the best center forward. This is confirmed by both its price (over a million coins) and its powerful in-game performance. As in real life, possessing decent dimensions, Zlatan is incredibly mobile and technical, and also has an incredible dribbling for his constitution. We don't even mention the blow and fantastic heading.

Ibra's shortcomings are also quite predictable. Swedish citizenship and membership in the French championship severely restrict you when choosing partners for this striker. However, experienced players do not worry about this at all and put Zlatan in the center of the attack, even with zero Chemistry. The Swede has so much strength that even in such a situation, he remains the best of the best.

Here is one example of how to use Ibra in a so-called "hybrid" squad, consisting of players from different leagues:

Despite the widespread screams of indignant fans that, they say, a new FIFA 14 did not live up to someone's expectations, they say, the PC version remained on the old engine, and the new engine migrated only to the console, and so on, FIFA 14 still showed the world several innovative innovations and gameplay solutions, smoothly preparing an armada of fans for the future 15- The th part of this legendary series, which, as usual, will be released in the fall of 2015. In the meantime, all fans and simply interested are forced to adapt to a number of innovations that are not very characteristic of the previous parts of the game. One of the most radical innovations lies in some of the features of the gameplay in general, and in the implementation of the transfer policy of the football club, in particular. Let's talk about this in more detail.

Buying cats in a poke.

How did the transfers go in the past, over the past fifteen years? The player entered the appropriate window and set certain parameters for the player he would like to purchase for his club. The win-win was this: in the options, the minimum age was first set, which gradually increased. All the characteristics of the players were as if on a platter. At the same time, sorting young footballers according to the size of their talent, 17-19-year-old athletes were bought for a penny, which in a couple of years cost already under three tens of millions of dollars. As a result, in the course of a coaching career, all the most promising footballers, one way or another, played under the supervision of a player. Individual, most beloved personalities, at the same time, moved from club to club, wherever they threw a difficult, but a curve in the process of a coaching career. The sales of footballers were also carried out without any problems. If the player was worth, say, 10,000,000, then he left for this price. This was especially true of older footballers, who were often sold for less than the nominal price. But for the young and talented, European grants laid out amounts that significantly exceeded the actual cost of an athlete.

And so, in last year's FIFA 13, some scouts appeared. Why, for what - it is not clear. But they were, and they had to be reckoned with. The management demanded to hire scouts, and the scouts demanded that they be sent to distant and not very regions to study the local football gene pool. As a result of numerous business trips, scouts littered the mail with their useless intelligence. The benefits of these data were reduced to zero due to the fact that the player, with the beginning of the transfer window, could follow the corresponding link himself, set the necessary parameters and recruit as many players as the club could fit or there was enough money. And then in the fall of 2013, it was time for FIFA 14.

What immediately attracted attention? This is that the characteristics of footballers on their own are positively impossible to trace. The list can be shuffled and ordered by age, position and name of the athlete, but not by his game parameters. Even those footballers who are listed as free agents were a mystery shrouded in darkness. This is where these very scouts come to the fore.

Scouts in FIFA 14 are the backbone of club development.

This type of football functionary differs in efficiency. Citizens scouts are also divided into talented and idlers. Fortunately, their characteristics can be easily tracked. The more stars, the better the scout. A specialist who has 4-5 stars both in the “experience” and in the “solution” column is worth more than ten million USD. But you will have to fork out for this, even if your club cannot be classified as a grandee. By the way, even for the most famous football clubs in Europe, it is quite enough to have one scout at their disposal in order to receive more or less accurate information about the players of interest.

Scouts can only monitor one country at a time. Not the region, as it was in FIFA 13, but the country. Now the game has a "scout tasks" column. There, in the column, there are almost two dozen different characteristics that you would like to see in a future purchase. For example, do you need a defender who would effectively connect to the serves to the opponent's goalkeeper's court when taking corners and free throws? This means that in team management we set a higher percentage for canopies in the penalty area, and for scouting tasks we put a bird in front of the "Air threat" column. If, for example, you need a striker who would be difficult to take the ball away from, then we put the bird in front of the "Dribbler" column, etc. After all the manipulations, we choose the desired age, position and, keeping the instructions, we send the scout on a business trip. The whole nuance lies in the fact that if you overdo it and mark too many points at the same time, then the scout will not be able to find anything, and if you mark too few, for example, one, then the scout will find you about fifty players and torture you with reports. Therefore, one of the most versatile options is to choose the position necessary to strengthen the squad by placing the checkbox in front of the column “Strengthening the squad”. If a scout is hired for more than three kopecks, then when looking for potential club newcomers, he will only look for those who can strengthen your main team. That being said, is a win-win. It is clear that the characteristics of the players will be different, but always not lower than the average for all the main players.

Cheap blacks and golden youth.

One of the long-standing traditions in all FIFA games is that all black footballers will cost significantly less than their equivalent white footballers. In other words, buying a black man is always more profitable than buying a white man. Who, if not the Americans and Canadians, know about this. Conditional Drogba or Pogba will be cheaper than Fernando Torres or Schweinsteiger. This circumstance cannot be ignored, because we are not racists, and we need to strengthen the composition. In general, everyone who is dissatisfied with this state of affairs, that without scouts - nowhere, begin to buy football players "according to old memory" and by loud names. And where are all the star names located? That's right: in the European giants. As a result, the player has to pay 30,000,000 each for Chicharito or Muriel, and after the purchase it is surprising to observe that their real price is two times lower. However, the following innovation comes into play here: talented and young football players, as well as those who show good play throughout the season, constantly entering the field from the starting minutes, can be sold for a much larger amount than indicated in the dossier. Therefore, it is important that every footballer has game practice and receives high scores for every game. Otherwise, its price will drop dramatically. At the same time, you can use this feature by buying great footballers who, for no apparent reason, are deeply stocked by many high-profile teams. In the dossier of such a player, opposite the "Form" column, there will be "Bad". But this will not slow down to affect his playing condition. For the first few months, such a player will not be able to plow all 90 minutes, exhausted by the break. Therefore, he needs to be given time to adapt.

And so we smoothly approached the most important thing - the work on the scouts' reports. From a large list of theoretical players, you will need to almost at random select those who interest you and instruct the scout to “follow the player”. To fully study the player, the scout will need 20 days. In parallel, he can study many athletes. The amount does not affect the learning speed. Gradually, the information about the players will be updated, which the player can see in the relevant statistics. It is very important to search for players on an ongoing basis, and not only when the transfer window opens. If you start studying just before its opening, then the entire transfer campaign will be covered with a copper basin. But if you first take care of the search for potential newcomers, then the player will already have a list with expanded characteristics ready to open the window. At the same time, the true data about a football player is often offered in a somewhat vague form. The universal indicator of his class is his cost and wages. It so happens that the purchase of a football player, whose most characteristics are marked in green and have attractive numbers of 80-90, as a result, it turns out that they are called "past the cash register", and another 25-year-old player with an overall level of 65 settles on the bench. -70 points. But for the best players, the scouts still give an accurate forecast. By the way, if you do not want to study the reports or time is running out, then you can directly contact the club to buy one or another player. You will, of course, have to overpay, but you still have to complete the deal. Sometimes you can still catch players whose contract will soon expire. With proper initiative, they can be obtained for free by signing a preliminary contract for the future.

As a conclusion, it must be said that in FIFA 14 scouts are an obligatory part of any club. The entire transfer club campaign is based on their activities. There is no need to be lazy, studying their reports and giving them competent tasks. However, even after several seasons, when studying scout reports, it is not always possible to read the really necessary information between the lines. Therefore, the purchase of new players is always associated with a certain degree of surprise. However, surprises, albeit not always pleasant ones, are exactly what they love football for.
