Oksana Grishina was born on March 25, 1978 in Kaliningrad in a military family, the family moved many times. Oksana's childhood passed in the Latvian capital, in the city of Riga. Mom decided to send her daughter to a rhythmic gymnastics school in order to direct the girl's violent energy in the right direction. Although at the age of seven it was already too late to start classes, the teacher noticed the girl's potential and began to study with her. After 3 months, little Oksana already took 3rd place in her first competition, ahead of older girls with more experience.

After a while, her father was transferred to a new position in Russia with the provision of an apartment, and this already meant a sedentary lifestyle, which the family had been waiting for for many years. But, unfortunately, there was no gymnastics school in that city. The teacher suggested that Oksana stay in Riga and continue to study. The parents thought that their daughter would want to go with them, but the passion for gymnastics turned out to be stronger, the girl wanted to stay in Riga. Then her parents had to look for a compromise option. Oksana's father changed directions with a colleague officer, and the family moved to Kaliningrad, where there were some of the best Russian gymnastics schools. This was a big sacrifice for the family, since they had to give up the possibility of getting an apartment.

In Kaliningrad, the Grishins' family often changed their place of residence, and Oksana had to change many schools. The girl combined her studies at school with gymnastics, she had very little free time. Already at the age of 14, Oksana Grishina became the master of sports of Russia in rhythmic gymnastics. Gymnastics has become an integral part of her life. Oksana Grishina graduated from Kaliningrad University and in 2000 received a diploma in physical culture and sports. During her student years, she organized her own ballet "Antares", which existed for several years after graduation. During these years Oksana also worked as a choreographer at the Tchaikovsky School of Music and Art in Kaliningrad.

At that time, there were practically no equipped gyms in Kaliningrad. When the first fitness club opened in 2002, a friend offered Oksana a job there as a fitness and aerobics instructor. Her colleagues, bodybuilding trainers, noticed that the girl had a good body structure and advised her to try this sport. Grishina listened to their advice and began to engage in bodybuilding and soon began performing. However, she preferred to compete in the "Fitness" nomination, because here, in addition to the proportions and beauty of the body, the choreographic skills that she inherited from rhythmic gymnastics are also evaluated.

Oksana Grishina's debut on the fitness scene took place in 2002 at the Cup of the Kaliningrad Region. In 2004 she became the Master of Sports of Russia in bodybuilding, and later the Master of Sports of international class in bodybuilding. In 2005 and 2006. Oksana was awarded the title of "Best non-Olympic athlete of the year" of the Kaliningrad region after victories at fitness tournaments on the world stage, at the European and world championships.

In 2007, Oksana Grishina received a professional IFBB card and immediately began conquering Olympia. In 2007 she became the seventh, in 2010 and 2011. - the fifth, in 2012 and 2013. - the second, and finally, in 2014, Oksana became the first Russian winner of the jubilee fiftieth Olympia in the Fitness nomination.

Now Oksana Grishina and her husband Boris Ivanov, who is also her personal trainer, live in California, USA. Oksana works as a personal trainer and consultant, participates in photo shoots as a fitness model. In her free time, she learns to play the piano, where she makes some progress. Oksana Grishina is a perfectionist, she cannot imagine her life without competition. Oksana strives to be a source of inspiration for future competitors, to leave an indelible mark on the world of professional fitness. Her motto is: "Let your dreams come true."

Oksana Grishina, who became the champion of fitness and bodybuilding, has been involved in sports since early childhood. To this day, this woman has managed to achieve incredible success in such a seemingly non-female sport. But only on bodybuilding her life is not concentrated. Between workouts and performances, Oksana remains a simple woman and a good wife. The life, success and training of an athlete will be discussed in today's article.

Childhood of a bodybuilder

Oksana Grishina was born in 1978. Her father is a military man, so the family often moved from city to city. At each new place, the girl had to adapt again, look for friends, find activities and entertainment. Oksana's mother decided that it would not hurt her daughter to do gymnastics, and brought her to classes when she was seven years old.

Oksana Grishina says that she practically did not rest and did not see her parents, since she constantly studied either at school or in the rhythmic gymnastics section. The little athlete traveled to each point on foot, and it took her a long time to get there.

Education

Oksana liked playing sports so much that after receiving a school certificate, she did not face the choice of an institute, everything was predetermined in advance. In 2000, the girl successfully completed her studies at the University of Culture and Sports. During her student years, Oksana Grishina worked as a children's choreographer and at the same time was able to organize her own ballet group called "Antares".

How did the girl get involved in bodybuilding?

From the beginning of the second millennium in Kaliningrad, where the girl lived, fitness clubs began to open one after another. In one of them, Oksana Grishina began to work as a coach. Bodybuilding was also gaining popularity, and the coaches teaching there noticed a predisposition to this sport in Oksana. They invited her to try to work in this direction, and the girl happily agreed.

Not many people know that bodybuilding is divided into several categories: fitness, bikini, figure and physicist. Oksana Grishina began to work on the first one. The girl chose the fitness category because it is considered the most spectacular. In addition to femininity, correct proportions, beautiful muscles, women must have acrobatic and choreographic skills. The latter were ideally owned by Grishina.

First successes

The debut of an athlete in bodybuilding took place in 2002. She decided to test her strength and take part in the Kaliningrad Cup. Already in 2004, the girl became a master of sports in bodybuilding in Russia, and a little later, an international master. 2005 and 2006 were marked for Oksana by the fact that it was then that she was able to achieve the title of "Best non-Olympic athlete of the year." This prompted the girl to conquer Olympia.

Oksana Grishina: Olympia is achievable

The athlete received her professional IFBB card in 2007 and realized that she could achieve great heights. As she admitted in an interview, giving up is not her style, you must always move forward diligently, even after a series of failures. In the same 2007 Oksana took part in the prestigious Olympia competition for the first time and took the honorable seventh place. Grishina came to try her hand at this competition again in 2010 and won the fifth place. She also received it with the participation in 2011.

In 2012 and 2013, Oksana Grishina already stood on the second step of the podium. There was only one step left until victory. And she was able to rise to the very top the very next year, becoming the first Russian participant to win in the fitness category at the fiftieth Olympia. She was able to take the first place again in 2015, proving her advantage. In 2014 and 2015, Oksana became a champion in the equally prestigious Arnold Classic competition.

Oksana Grishina: training

The athlete's body remains in shape even during the off-season. The girl does not allow herself to relax and rest. She says it's easier to keep fit than to work incredibly hard to get closer to your norm. The growth of the athlete is 1.63 meters, and the weight is 54 kilograms, and she rarely goes beyond. Photos by Oksana Grishina, provided in this article, confirm this. How does a bodybuilding champion train? Oksana does not spare time for training, she devotes most of her life to them, she does at least six times a week, four of them are strength training. Grishina starts the morning with cardio, and most often it is jogging along the ocean coast. Towards evening, after the third meal, the girl is engaged with weights.

Grishina breaks down strength exercises by day. In the first, he works on the biceps and chest, on the second - on the biceps and shoulders, the third day he devotes to the legs. In the evening, necessarily includes cardio training. Most often these are exercises on a stationary bike or walking on a treadmill. In the future, according to plans, Oksana is carrying out a power load to prepare for the free program and stretching. On light days, when there are no strength classes, Oksana Grishina is engaged in working out the image and new acrobatic elements of the performance. She works with music on plastic and choreography.

Personal life

Oksana's husband, Boris Ivanov, lives with his wife permanently in the USA, California. The girl admits that at first it was not easy for her to find a job, but now everything is just fine. She is a successful model, trainer and fitness consultant. Also Grishina Oksana is fond of music, surfing and acting. She says that without these hobbies it would be difficult for her to create her own unforgettable and vivid images, without which it is simply impossible to win.

The girl is sure that in order to achieve the set goals, it is necessary to constantly work on oneself, and on days of laziness, force oneself to work. Indeed, only with the developed discipline will it be possible to achieve incredible heights.

Oksana Grishina Is a charming athlete from Russia who performs in fitness and bodybuilding. Oksana is a three-time champion of the famous tournament - Arnold Classic, in 2013-2015 in the fitness category. Grishina Oksana is the only Russian athlete who was able to win the card IFBB to compete in the USA at the IFBB Olympia. Oksana has repeatedly ranked first at the world level in bodybuilding and fitness. Oksana has her own personal line of clothing and various accessories.

A bodybuilding star was born in Kaliningrad. Oksana's father was an officer, so travels for the Grishins' family were quite frequent. When Oksana's father was sent to Lithuania, her mother decided to send the little girl of seven to a gymnastics school. But, despite the rather late age for gymnastics, the coach saw the talent and potential in the girl, and she was accepted to school. After a couple of months, the girl was able to conquer 3rd place at their first competition.

After 3 years, the family was forced to move to Russia again, but with a government guarantee for housing, this meant that they would no longer need to move. Still, there was a problem, since there were no gymnastics schools in the city. The coach suggested to Oksana's parents that the girl stay in training.

Oksana decided to devote her life to gymnastics, and entered the university at the Faculty of Physical Education in Kaliningrad. In 2000, Oksana Grishina received a diploma and got a job in her own way, at an art school, as a choreographer.

In 2002, Oksana got a job as an aerobics and fitness instructor in a new fitness room. Colleagues immediately noticed Oksana and offered to try herself in bodybuilding. Oksana agreed, but competed in the fitness category. By how much in this category not only the physical form of athletes is evaluated, but also the choreographic numbers.

And so Oksana Grishina in 2002, for the first time performs on the big stage, where she takes first place. After 2 years, Oksana receives the title of master of sports in bodybuilding.

In 2005, the Russian star won the championship " European Championship". And after only a year, she won the " World Championship»In the category fitness.

In 2007, Oksana decided to try to compete in the championship " IFBB Europa Super Snow", Where he wins the 1st well-deserved place, and with it gets his dream in the hands of a PRO-card. The long-awaited dream gets lost, and in the same year she decided to try herself at Olympia, where she took seventh place.

In 2010-2013 Oksana performed four times at the most popular tournament “ Ms. Olympia”, She could not rise above the second place. Oksana lost only to the world famous fitness star Adele Garcia from the Dominican Republic.

In 2014, Oksana, deservedly by her hard work, gets the long-awaited first place in the championship " IFBB Olympia Weekend", For a phenomenal physical form, and a beautiful choreographic performance.

Despite the fact that today was the Defender of the Fatherland Day, the idea came to me to tell about a strong woman, and not just some one, but about one that every bodybuilder in Russia and in the world knows.

Approaching any person on the street, and asking the question "What is the name of the most famous bodybuilder in the world?", Everyone, without exception, will answer "Arnold Schwarzenegger!" Well, if you reformulate the question a little: "What is the name of the most famous female bodybuilder in the world?", No one will answer this question. Almost the same as when answering the question "Which female athlete from the iron sport do you know?" But if you ask a person who is interested in bodybuilding and competitions, he will answer “Oksana Grishina”.

The Russian athlete, who is currently an analogue of Phil Heath (the favorite of the world bodybuilding), only in the fitness category. Three-time champion "Arnold Classic" in the nomination "Fitness" 2013-2015. Grishina is the first and so far the only female athlete in Russia who won an IFBB card to participate in the IFBB Olympia competition, as well as became a champion at world bodybuilding and fitness competitions.

Oksana was born in Kaliningrad on March 25, 1978. As a child, she was engaged in rhythmic gymnastics. She did so well that she got her first prize just a few months after the start of training. In 1993 he received the title of Master of Sports in rhythmic gymnastics. In 2000, Grishina graduated from Kaliningrad State University with a diploma in physical culture and sports. While working as a choreographer at the School of Music and Arts named after Tchaikovsky in Kaliningrad, Oksana trains and prepares for her first tournament - the Bodybuilding Cup of the Kaliningrad Region. Already in 2004, she received the title of Master of Sports in bodybuilding and a few months later, Master of Sports of international class. After victories at European and world tournaments in 2005-2006, she received the title of "Best non-Olympic athlete of the year."

In 2007 he received a professional card of the IFBB and won ... 7th place at Olympia in the same year. For 7 years, she was getting close to the coveted first place at the most prestigious world bodybuilding tournament and, finally, in 2014, she received the coveted gold medal and the Sandow statuette (an analogue of Oscar in bodybuilding). At the moment, she is a two-time Olympia champion, having defended her title again in 2015.
